Dar Assiya Le Grand is a luxury riad in Marrakesh located in the heart of the Medina. This riad is a former noble residence dating back to the 15th century, and is located in the Marrakech Medina.
With the characteristic central patio and a decorative fountain, it preserves the typical structure of an ancient luxury riad in which the ancient portals and elegant decorations have been retrieved.

In the Dar Assiya Le Petit riad guests are greeted by an atmosphere of warm intimacy and can refresh themselves on its terrace, admiring the beautiful colours of the Marrakech sky and relaxing in the hammam or the massage room.
TUAREG

The restaurant of our riad offers guests typical and highly sophisticated dishes, where taste and attention to detail go hand in hand with every meal prepared – from breakfast to lunch and up to dinner – and the diner can taste the excellence of local.
ROOF
The Moroccan skies are able to offer an unforgettable spectacle every hour of the day: the crystalline sky of the day takes on color and tints the purple shades of unmatched sunsets to the full of gorgeous gems in the starry times of Marrakech.
The terrace is the splendid place of the Riad where the Marrakech sky becomes a splendid setting to spend pleasant moments every hour of the day.
Nicely decorated in a traditional style, using the sofas, curtains, poufs, tables, loungers and furnishing accessories that create a fairytale atmosphere for a thousand and one night, the terrace of the Dar Assiya riad is the perfect place to take the sun lying comfortably on open open beds, sip a drink, have an aperitif under the sky, or tease something to eat.
The terrace is served by a small outdoor kitchen that is always active to delight guests with local snacks and gourmets.
PATIO
Heart of and hub around which the entire riad is developed, the Patio is a common semi-open environment onto which the entrances to the other rooms open; it is structured around an immersion pool and presents itself as lounge and garden, a place for meeting and relaxing.

HAMMAM
A real temple of relaxation available to our guests, the Dar Assiya Le Petit hammam is a place where guests can stop and take care of themselves, purifying the body and mind with Middle Eastern wellness rituals.
Black marble, relaxing atmospheres, inebriating scents and soft lights will immerse the visitor in the magic atmosphere typical of Moroccan hammams. Born as a religious ritual, today’s hammam is a fascinating place for indulging in the perfumes and ancestral properties of water and steam.
There is also a massage room adjacent to the hammam where massages are practised using argan oil and essential oils, following the ancient tradition of Moroccan wellness, an art that helps to reestablish contact with the mind and the body.

FACILITIES
Riad staff are on hand for transfers to and from the airport, taxi services and for accompanying guests on foot during short trips to the medina and souk.
On arrival, guests are given a mobile phone that they can keep for the entire duration of their stay and use both inside and outside the riad. In case of emergencies, inconveniences or simple necessities, a member of the riad staff will answer guest calls and take steps to resolve all issues.
TYPICAL MOROCCAN COOKING CLASSES
During your stay you will be able to discover the secrets of the typical Moroccan cuisine. It is one of the most flavourful because of its chemistry between colours and fragrances. Our skill-full cook, through passion and experience, will teach you to create traditional recipes.
Throughout your morning, you have a choice to go to the local market next to the Riad, in the heart of the Medina, to buy fresh and seasonal products. You will also learn the various types of spices and their use.
Some of the traditional recipes you can choose from are le briouatte, la tagine, la pastila, couscous, la tanjia and more delicious desserts. You will have the chance to taste your own delicious cooking at dinner time.
