Environmental policy
Most people are concerned about climate change. At the same time, most people would probably really rather someone else handled the problem.
Realising this, we decided to think about what we could do to help – and we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s actually quite a lot. We have been a Nordic Swan eco-labelled hotel since 2010 and our goal at all times is to work in an eco- and climate-friendly way.
Sweden’s Top Boutique Hotel
At Görvälns Slott we offer 45 unique hotel rooms – all of them are housed in old buildings with a large helping of built-in charm. Every detail from their colours, flooring, décor to their furniture and bathroom tiling has been handpicked and carefully selected.
And the beds are fit for a king with fully sprung divans from Mille Notti and down-filled mattresses, pillows and duvets. We can pretty much guarantee you the sleep of your dreams at Görvälns Slott. We are an Adult Only-hotel and welcome guests from 16 years old.
Grand Deluxe Rooms
Our seven lavish Grand Deluxe rooms are our most exclusive, all with wonderful 160-180 cm wide beds with duvets and bed linen from Mille Notti. The beds of these rooms are spectacular – with gilded headboards or even four poster bed frames. Some rooms also have a lovely sitting area with rococo furniture.
Some of the rooms have sea view and/or a decorative fireplace (not in use). The rooms are located in separate hotel buildings, up to 175 m from the castle main building.
Deluxe Rooms
Our extravagant Deluxe rooms all have exclusive 160-180 cm wide beds with duvets and bed linen from Mille Notti. The beds of these rooms are particularly beautiful – with gilded headboards or even four poster bed frames. All rooms have a smaller working area and some also have a lovely sea view.
The high end bathrooms of the Deluxe rooms have either a shower or a lovely bathtub. The rooms are located in the north and south wing of the castle, 25 m from the castle main building.
Double Superior Rooms
Our beautiful Double Superior rooms all have exclusive 160-180 cm wide beds with duvets and bed linen from Mille Notti. Some of the rooms have sea view and/or a fireplace (not in use) and some are loft rooms with beautiful ceiling beams.
All have a smaller working area. The Double Superior rooms have high end bathrooms with a shower. The rooms are located in the north and south wing of the castle, 25 m from the castle main building.

Every day and every meal at Görvälns Slott is a challenge – the challenge of satisfying every single one of our guests’ senses.
We love using traditional raw materials in our creations and combining them with a generous pinch of innovation, and our sommelier ensures that your drinks are the perfect match for the different flavours of the food.
Please note that we have a minimum age limit of 16 years old at the Manor House in order to ensure a tranquil experience for all of our guests. You are welcome to reserve a table as well with or without staying at our hotel.
We strive to serve food that is down to earth yet elegant. We only use the finest ingredients and change menus seasonally. We love the Swedish traditional flavors and you will find them throughout our dishes.
The kitchen team is driven by the same thing – passion. The passion for food, drinks and especially the relaxed but proper level of service that we are so proud of.
