The story of Anopura begins in 2010 with the opening of the smallest luxury hotel in the hotel in world.
With an expatriate Belgian designer and a team of local craftsmen, Anopura was envisaged as a place apart, beyond the humdrum cares and buzzing of the everyday world, where beauty, nature and the art of life are all that matter.
Founded by Aditya Baheti, an art connoisseur, and a member of one of Jaipur’s most well known families, An organic farm and sixty acres of organic lemon groves were also planted around Anopura, cocooning its magic ever more securely from the outside world.

DINING AT ANOPURA
The food at Anopura has a reputation all of its own… and dining under the stars, is an experience of a lifetime. The menu at Anopura has been meticulously put together. Miraculously, our head chef grew up in Anopura Village itself.
After many years working in Jaipur City, Chef Rocky returned home seven years ago. Here his impeccable Indian repertoire has been transformed into something quite unique; harnessing the bounty from our organic vegetable garden with classical continental inspiration from Philippe’s Belgian heritage.
For breakfast guests may chose from traditional indian fare or a wholesome european breakfast of muesli, freshly grown fruits and juices, breads, tea and of course great coffee!
For lunch and dinner, expect mouthwatering traditional curries and local dishes all prepared with local ingredients, or chose from an out european menu from Anopura’s signature fluffy souffles to delicious home grown salads.

Amber Fort – the UNESCO world heritage site is only 30km from Anopura and makes for a perfect day excursion. Wander through the romantic citadel of the Maharajahs of Jaipur.
Learn the basics of elephant care at the Elephant stables in Amer village below the fort and visit Brigitte Singh’s studio and the Anohki museum to learn everything about traditional Rajasthani block-printing.
Jaipur City – the famed pink city of Jaipur is within easy striking distance of Anopura, less than an hour’s drive away. Soak up the bustle, bazaars and beeping of the city and the amazing sites of the Jantar Mantar, Galta, City Palace and Hawa Mahal – then retreat back to the pollution free, peace and quiet of Anopura!
How to get to Anopura
Anopura is located amid lemon groves and colourful fields of marigolds and roses, yet is just one hours drive from Jaipur City, thirty mins drive from the Amber Fort, and three and a half hours from Delhi Airport.
