Overlooking the uplit oasis of oneeighty° and the Indian Ocean beyond, seas restaurant is the showcase of acclaimed Balinese Chef Nyoman Suasa.
Long at the vanguard of ‘New Indonesian’ cuisine and the culinary mind behind the opening of Seminyak’ s renowned Bambu Restaurant, Chef Suasa’s menu takes you on a whistle-stop tour of South East Asia, with clever presentation and masterful technique. Seas restaurant is only available for in-house guests with prior reservations until further notice.
THE CLIFF BAR
Only available to in-house guests, spa guests and High Tea guests, the cliff-front bar, with its jaw-dropping glass floor, is the perfect place to enjoy a tropical cocktail or a selection from the award-winning wine list.
Perched on the very edge of the cliff and complete with its own infinity pool, this private haven is perfect for relaxation, a luxury high tea or romantic dinner. Celebrating classics with a twist, the cocktail selection provides the perfect accompaniment to this stunning backdrop.
ONEEIGHTY°
During this time a special menu is available, for in-house guests, our Chef is happy to meet with you and make a tailor made menu. Oneeighty° is a celebration of sophisticated beach culture set 500ft above the Indian Ocean, with a jaw-dropping glass-bottom sky pool which extends 6.5 metres over the edge of the Uluwatu cliff.
Guests of oneeighty° can relax on the cliff-side VIP deck, recline on a sunbed in the sand lounge or take a table at the enclosed bar, all overlooking the most breathtaking 180° panorama.
By day, the menu reads like a playful ode to classic beachside food, and after 5 pm, the mood changes as oneeighty° transforms into a tranquil oasis with a chilled soundtrack and uplit coconut palms.

ROMANCE
Many centuries ago, Danghyang Nirartha was an important Hindu priest in the royal courts of Java and, less fortuitously, the object of unrequited love from one of the wives of his royal patron. This unenviable position precipitated his rapid departure to Bali, where he became the chief counsellor to King Dalem Baturenggong.
On his arrival to the Southern tip of the island, Nirartha meditated on the edge of the cliff and received a sacred vision about the sanctity of the area. Thus, a temple was built and called Uluwatu (ulu – land’s end, watu – rock).
Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is one of the Sad Khayangan, the six most important temples in Bali. It is dedicated to Rudra, the God of the Storm, the Wind, and the Hunt.These days at The edge, a short journey from the famous temple, guests are more commonly embracing love, rather than fleeing it as Niratha did.
