El Nido Resorts’ Eco-Adventure island resort, Apulit, set in Taytay Bay in North-eastern Palawan, offers exciting and exhilarating activities for the thrill-seeker. Guests may climb and rappel down the 60-meter limestone cliff, with birds’ eye-view of the whole island. Dive and discover sunken treasures just off the beach, with a Japanese ship wreck and a plethora of marine species to greet guests.
Put on headlights and go spelunking in the different caves of Apulit, or hop on the banca as one go island hopping and snorkelling with the resort’s marine sports guides to identify and explain the different species around the area. The resort’s guest activities coordinators will help plan your adventure-filled holiday at Apulit Island.
ACCOMMODATION
Apulit Island has 50 water cottages that combine traditional Filipino architectural style with contemporary design. The cottages are all built on stilts, perched above the sea with an unobstructed view of Palawan’s azure Taytay Bay, surrounding islands, and dramatic limestone cliffs.
There are 30 Water Cottages built around the main cove of the island. Each Water Cottage has a 35sqm floor area and can accommodate a maximum of two persons. 20 Loft Water Cottages are located on the western cove. Each two-level Loft Water Cottage has direct access to the sea from its private veranda. It has a total floor area of 61sqm and fits four persons.

ISLAND HOPPING
Taytay (Apulit Island) – Nabat Island has a very extensive reef area, perfect for snorkelling and diving. Its beautiful marine life contains coral gardens, flame scallops, nudibranch, lionfish, flatworms. On the other hand, Isla Blanca is a Spanish term for “White Island.” Guests can opt to just relax on the beach, snorkel or swim just in front of the island.
El Nido (Miniloc Island, Lagen Island and Pangulasian Island) – Find out how Snake Island got its name, climb into Cudugnon Cave, and see the cathedral-like formation of Pinasil. Our guides will give you fun facts and interesting stories as you discover the famous spots of El Nido.
Big and Small Lagoons – They say you haven’t really gone to El Nido if you haven’t seen the iconic Big and Small Lagoons. If you only have one day with us, then this is the place to see.
Take photos at the Big Lagoon to your heart’s desire, as it is impossible to take a bad one. Then head over to the Small Lagoon to kayak – your guide will show you its hidden entrance.
ENTALULA BEACH CLUB
Have a picnic by the beach at Entalula Island. Rest and digest your lunch on one of our cabanas or on a hammock under the trees. You can also snorkel, kayak or play volleyball. Adrenaline junkies can try rock climbing (October to May). There is a limestone wall available for climbing beginners to advance climbers.
DIBULUAN BEACH CLUB
Visit Dibuluan Island for lunch and try snorkelling and various water sports available such as hobie cat sailing, wind surfing, and kayaking.
