Matamanoa Island, an intimate and secluded Fijian Resort. We are set in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands of Fiji approximately 30 kilometres west of the Nadi International Airport.

Ten stand alone Beachfront Pool Villas, twenty four stand alone Beachfront Pool Bures and thirteen Garden Resort Rooms. All Villas and Bures feature an outdoor shower, thatched gazebo and plunge pool.

With his international and Fijian inspired cuisine, our recently appointed Executive Chef is dedicated to ensuring a delightful dining experience. Served against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and Fijian Islands, the changing nightly menus will be sure to keep you enticed.

When not perfecting the art of relaxation there is plenty to do on and around Matamanoa, all non-motorised activities are complimentary. Located approximately 30km (19 miles) west of Nadi International Airport, Matamanoa Island Resort can be reached by high-speed catamaran, private speedboat or helicopter. Our Reservations Team can assist you with all your transfer needs.

ACCOMMODATION
Paradise awaits at Matamanoa Island Resort, only steps away from the Pacific Ocean and nestled amongst soaring coconut palms lay our beautifully appointed Beachfront Villas and Bures, a few steps beyond that lay our charming Garden Resort Rooms.

With contemporary design infused with Fijian flare, we have created the ideal space for your relaxing getaway. Wake up to the sound of the sea-breeze rustling through the swaying palms and water lapping on soft white sandy beaches; the scent of the ocean will be the last sense to render you a blissful rest.

BEACHFRONT POOL VILLA
Ten Beachfront Villas located on our private, north facing beach. Access is via a purpose-built walkway or chauffeured golf cart. The Villas feature two split level rooms: the bedroom is positioned on the upper level with a king bed facing the Pacific Ocean; the lounge is positioned on the lower level.

Bathrooms feature twin granite vanities, a separate shower and separate toilet. Each Villa is beautifully appointed outside with outdoor furniture on a generous covered deck leading onto a private plunge pool, thatched gazebo with day bed and an additional outdoor shower.

Your personal sun loungers are placed on the grass in front of your Villa. All Villas have access to complementary high-speed Wi-Fi and accommodate a maximum of three adults.

BEACHFRONT POOL BURE 
With its ease of luxury, you will fall in love with the Bure; whether it’s to awaken in bed and gaze upon the magnificent and intricate Tapa on the ceiling, relax in your spacious and beautiful lounge, take a dip in your own private plunge pool or indulge with a book in the shade of your thatched daybed…only steps away to walk along the pristine white sand beach…life is perfect on Matamanoa. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available 24 hours in the Central Facility area. Bures accommodate a maximum of three adults.

RESORT ROOM
Among the natural lush vegetation of Matamanoa Island your Garden Room awaits. Everything you need to relax and make memories of the lasting kind. Stunning Tapa ceilings, comfortable rooms and oh so close to the Central Facility Area where you will find our guest lounge, dining room, bar, infinity pool and sunbaking deck with glorious views across the pristine white beach and Matamanoa reef.

Each Resort Room is a spacious studio size unit and has its own private covered veranda. Appreciation will certainly develop for the king bed with hand carved mahogany headboard. The island is at your fingertips from your Garden Room.

Resort Rooms will accommodate a couple, or the super king bed can be split into two single beds. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available 24 hours in the Central Facility Area.

Welcome to Vale Ni Blau (House of Waves), where our Executive Chef and his team offer international and Fijian inspired cuisine served against the backdrop of the enchanting South Pacific Ocean and Fijian Islands. Full American breakfast is complementary with all bookings.

Our Bar is situated overlooking the infinity pool and Pacific Ocean, a perfect location to reflect on the activities of the day while sipping a chilled beer or cocktail.

Marry on the beach at sunset, or anywhere on the island; under an arch covered in voile and flowers, traditional Tapa cloth, bamboo and white pillars decorated with tropical flowers leading up to the arch.

SCUBA DIVING
Nestled in the Mamanuca Island group, Matamanoa is situated in a marine sanctuary and surrounded by coral reefs that are home to some of the most breathtaking biodiversity, including spectacular table corals, enormous gorgonian fans, turtles, reef sharks and multi-hued reef fish of every shape and size

Deep Blue Diving & Water Sports, a PADI 5 star operator based on Matamanoa, offer a range of high quality diving from over 30 dive sites within the Mamanuca Islands; experience shallow reefs, pinnacles, wrecks, shark encounters to walls and drop-offs. Deep Blue’s experienced instructors are on hand to offer you a gentle introduction to scuba diving or to develop your existing skills

Dive sites range from 9 to 30 meters in depth, most dives are around 18 meters with shallower depths for repetitive dives. Visibility is generally between 20 and 40 meters and water temperature ranges from 26 Celsius in winter (July/August) to 31 Celsius in summer (Jan/Feb).
