Originally from Belgium, Martin SIMONART, has acquired through his trips in France a know how and an experience that makes him a young recognised chef with a Michelin star.

Former deputy chef to Jean-Pierre Jacob at the Bateau Ivre (Courchevel then Lac du Bourget), this young 29 years old chef will lead the kithchen at the Auberge des Templiers starting Wednesday 7th of March 2018. The gastronomical restaurant disposes of dining rooms and private lounge areas for your personal or professional events.

Less than 20 minutes from The Auberge des Templiers, the town of Gien, On the edge of the Loire, unveils it’s beauty and it’s quality of life, peaceful and pleasant : the town center and the streets filled with charm, the château, built in the XVIe century and now holds the international hunting museum.

Famous for the fine ceramic tiles, the town has Gien factory, still in business today. Where you can visit the factory aswell as the museum, to discover the trade secrets of these pieces of art.
