An iconic figure in the seaside resort of Hossegor, Les Hortensias du Lac offer 25 rooms and suites on the western shore of the marine lake.
In the shade of the pines, and only 200 metres from the infinite beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, Les Hortensias skilfully combine Art Deco heritage and surfing culture through the values and unique atmosphere of Les Domaines de Fontenille collection.
As part of Les Domaines de Fontenille collection, Les Hortensias will open on June 29th, 2019 after major renovation and extension works: 25 rooms and suites, a 450 m2 mineral spa, a restaurant overlooking the lake and equipped with a large terrace and a bar, seminar rooms.

Many rooms of Les Hortensias open on the marine lake. Most of them have large balconies or terraces. The new decoration combines the Landes seaside style with a laid-back spirit close to the surf hotels of the Hamptons, in the United States.
The restaurant, fully glazed, overlooks Lake Hossegor. The room, entirely made of wood, extends onto an outdoor terrace protected by sails.
Chef Philippe Moreno, who previously worked with three-starred chef Gerald Passédat in Marseille, offers a cuisine based on seafood and planchas: local sourcing, respect for the seasons, sustainable development and permanent renewal. A bar offers a wide range of cocktails and wines, with tapas. Closed Tuesday.
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the lake and a fitness room equipped with Waterower equipment.
The new SPA was designed as an extension of the pool landscape: it combines blond stones, light woods and sand-coloured ceramics, over a surface area of 450 m2 and offers a wide range of equipment for a rich and unique experience in Hossegor: dry massage rooms, wet massage room, cold bath, whirlpool bath, outdoor Nordic bath, a sauna, massage, rest room and tea shop.
The SPA exclusively dispenses the well-being protocols of the Swedish cosmetics brand L:A Bruket: clean, natural and organic facial and skin care products made on the west coast of Sweden, in the Vasberg surf resort.
The lake and ocean offer the opportunity to practice all kinds of water sports: surfing, paddle, windsurfing, boat trips, walks and races around the lake. Bicycles and electric bicycles are made available to the guests.
The Lou Cabanou cabin located 5 minutes’ walk from Les Hortensias on the ocean is the ideal place to watch the sunset. Our teams are at your disposal to organize your activities and can recommend restaurants and tapas bars around the lake.
A reception room located in the main building and equipped with a terrace on the lake can accommodate seminars and private events throughout the year.
