Numerous appealing excursions are possible from Lech – there many attractive destinations for day trips. Bregenz, the lovely city on Lake Constance, is reachable in one hour with the car, Tyrol’s capital, Innsbruck is 1.5 hours away.

While Bregenz is attractive for its music festival and the Bregenz Kunsthaus (which is meanwhile known throughout Europe), the Olympic city of Innsbruck with its famous Golden Roof in the old town is also worth a visit.

Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and small shops and boutiques make this an attractive destination. In the holiday season, the old town transforms into a majestic Christmas market which is visited annually by thousands of guests from all over the world.
