The Gardens
The Dar Ayniwen hotel spa in Marrakech is set in grounds extending over 2 hectares and offering several ambiances, alive with wildlife and fascinating flora, and a unique collection of exotic birds.
Exploring the grounds is like embarking on a journey through several continents; your host will take great pleasure in showing you around the rich and varied gardens of the property.
You will come across a Moorish patio, evocative of the Alhambra in Granada, an impeccable English lawn, a cactus garden, woodland with fragrant tree essences, a riad style garden with fountains, as well as a bamboo garden.
These peaceful and beautifully-tended gardens are home to a large swimming pool. It is one of the few heated outdoor pools in Marrakech, making it perfect for a swim in all seasons.
Surrounded by a lawn, planted with olive and palm trees, and equipped with comfortable loungers, the pool offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a decadent afternoon nap.
The House
Once a large family home, Dar Ayniwen was extended and turned into a luxury hotel with pool and spa by the present owner’s father, an antiques collector. Superbly located in the select Palmeraie district in Marrakech, our chic and truly welcoming guesthouse offers guests a haven of peace and tranquillity.
The opulent interior decor combines the elegant style of a traditional Moroccan riad with splendid works of art and antiques collected throughout the world.
We have 10 suites and rooms, all individually-designed to provide a true homely feel. The hotel boasts a spa with hammam and sauna, an outdoor heated pool, a restaurant, and a private business centre

On behalf of the Dar Ayniwen staff, I would like to welcome you to my House. Make it yours for the duration of your stay while you get to know more about the lifestyle and wonders of Morocco.
Set in a lush garden right in the heart of the Marrakesh palm grove and only a ten minutes’ drive from the city centre, Dar Ayniwen was originally designed and built by my father some thirty years ago, as a family residence.
In 2000, with the five-star hotel as a home concept in mind, we turned it together into a quaint yet top-notch getaway, which combines very fine materials and silky fabrics with period furniture, exotic Oriental paintings and antique carpets.
The tree-planted garden is our little gem with olive trees and date palms, loads of birds of all kinds, which I am a collector of, a water pond and two hectares (five acres) of land to relax.
Also at your disposal are a heated swimming pool and an à la carte restaurant with Moroccan & French wines, as well as a spa with hammam, sauna and massages upon request.
Our trained and attentive staff will be happy to serve and assist you in any respects, as well as to give you must-go and must-see tips, so you can enjoy the best Marrakesh has to offer.
Fine Cuisine
Each day, our talented chef and his team prepare a selection of mouth-watering Moroccan and international dishes including: starters, grilled meat and fish, salads, tagines and other local specialities.
As all our dishes are cooked fresh, from ingredients sourced and grown locally, we ask our guests to pre-book their lunches and dinners on the day by breakfast time.
You have a choice of various à la carte vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunch and dinner menus, organic food, a children’s menu. Our team will be happy to adapt to specific diets when previously informed.
Our Moroccan cooking classes
Discover the secrets of fine Moroccan cuisine with our chef and his assistant, by attending one of free the cooking classes designed exclusively for our guests.
Tagines, couscous and other Moroccan specialities are renowned worldwide and you will learn all the tricks to ensure you can prepare them perfectly when back home. Our courses are tailored for one or two guests only, and held in a warm relaxed atmosphere. Do make sure you book in advance!
Continental Breakfast
At Dar Ayniwen, you can choose where you want to have your breakfast! It can be served in the house, by the pool, in your suite or in our large dining tent. A standard continental breakfast is included in the price of your accommodation.
To complement this option we offer an à la carte breakfast menu with omelettes, fruit salads, cold cuts and cheeses, as well as Moroccan specialities (charges apply).
Spa & Wellness
The Dar Ayniwen spa is an area of pure tranquillity, where you can relax and unwind, in a cosy intimate atmosphere. This unique well-being centre, open only to our guests, offers a steam bath (hammam) and a sauna for two, as well as beauty treatments delivered by our expert in-house therapist.
All our massages, body treatments, facials, or hand and foot care are natural using only organic desert plants, argan oil or essential oils
