Reimagined by internationally renowned designer Ken Fulk, this private retreat brings a new level of contemporary glamour and whimsical soul to Austin.

A modern interpretation of a residential estate from yesteryear, these picturesque grounds offer a welcoming 10-acre setting in the heart of the city. It’s the beginning of something special.

RELAXED EUROPEAN ELEGANCE. TRUE AUSTIN CHARM.
Feel as if you’ve arrived in the stately European country home of an old family friend, situated within an intimate, walled oasis in the heart of Austin.

Handcrafted architectural details, and one-of-a-kind vintage furnishings—set against a backdrop of cascading formal gardens and an elegant courtyard—evoke the romance and glamour of a world gone by.

Mansion Suites

Ranging from 500 to 1575 square feet, each one- or two-bedroom suite in the original Italian Renaissance Revival mansion is charmingly distinct, with design nods to its original inhabitants. Antique windows open onto the cascading formal gardens.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry’s Suite

The Edgar and Lutie Perry master suites create the largest—and most exclusive—accommodation on the Estate, with His and Hers Master bedrooms, along with a spacious living room and dining table for eight.

Modern luxury, historic heritage, and unrivaled space come together in the estate’s only two-bedroom suite. Separate His and Hers Master Suites are adjoined by an oversized and lavish living area.

Two plush sofas and a dining table for eight set the scene for relaxed gatherings—complete with your favorite drinks from a cocktail cart stocked according to your wishes. Or you may just wish to curl up with a book in front of the cozy fireplace, soak in the deep tub, and turn in to your inviting four-poster king bed.

Rooms at the Inn

These spacious, modern 400 square foot rooms are furnished with custom and heirloom vintage pieces for an atmosphere that feels imbued with a sense of time. Oversized windows, Juliette balconies or French doors open onto lush, fragrant gardens or a serene courtyard. Accessible rooms are available.

Suites at the Inn

At 625 to 1,060 square feet, these generous one-bedroom suites combine the elegance of a historic country estate with extra benefits including a private scented garden or spacious terrace for taking in stunning views of the 10-acre walled oasis. Accessible rooms available.

Mountain Laurel Suite

Custom and heirloom vintage furnishings evoke the estate’s unique sense of history, while French doors in the bedroom and large living room lead onto double patios looking onto spacious grounds. The dramatic book-lined walls of the living room create an air of sophistication surrounded by welcoming comforts.

Elevated dining in a welcoming Estate setting
Step through the Mansion’s ornate wrought-iron doors and be transported to an era when Texan businessman Edgar “Commodore” Perry and his wife Lutie presided over lavish Jazz Age soirées.

Their intangible spirit lives on in the 10,800-square-foot Mansion, reimagined by acclaimed designer Ken Fulk as a glamorous social hub. Sip on craft cocktails and dine on a modern interpretation of Old-World classics in gathering spaces imbued with dramatic elegance and an unmistakable sense of time.

Lutie’s
Known for her lavish Jazz Age social gatherings and soirées, estate matriarch Lutie Perry and her convivial spirit live on, refracted through the fresh, whimsical lens of powerhouse designer Ken Fulk.

Come here to connect over craft cocktails and snacks on an intimate date, or share family-style plates with a group of friends, all in an effortlessly glamorous setting tucked into formal gardens.

Where modern glamour meets historic grandeur
Starting with produce picked fresh from the estate’s own gardens, and procured through specially cultivated relationships with local farmers and ranchers, husband-and-wife chef team Bradley Nicholson and Susana Querejazu take a personalized, handcrafted approach that ranges from dry-aging their own steaks to making their own soy sauce from Texan pecans.

Breakfast
Whether you want to start your day with a healthy avocado-and-oat-milk smoothie or an indulgent fried chicken biscuit sandwich with a side of estate-smoked bacon, we’ve got you covered.

No matter the choice, breakfast doesn’t get more beautiful than in our Garden Nook, covered in one-of-a-kind parrot-patterned wallpaper by Pierre Frey, and opening onto an intimate outdoor terrace overlooking the pool.

Lunch
Inspired by Commodore and Lutie Perry’s European travels, husband-and-wife chef team Bradley Nicholson and Susana Querejazu give Old-World classics a modern Texan twist with hyper-local ingredients and a handcrafted approach.

From the vaulted Solarium to the spacious Loggia overlooking a trickling fountain to the sun-splashed pool, the lunch setting is just as much a lure as the menu offerings.

Dinner
As in a good friend’s country estate, meals at the Mansion are a relaxed affair. Dine on playful culinary mash-ups such as white sturgeon caviar on Texas toast or green corn hush puppies with truffles.

At Lutie’s Garden Restaurant, the ever-changing, seasonal menus spotlight local farmers and ranchers and reflect the chefs’ celebration of ingredients through preparation rooted in understated simplicity.

Poolside Dining

Channel vintage Palm Springs as you settle back on yellow chaise lounges and tables, set under classic striped umbrellas, and arranged around the Estate’s large, oval swimming pool.

Come for a refreshing dip followed by a glass of rosé and inspired pool “snacks” ranging from the popular Provençal-inspired Grand Aioli to carnitas tacos, all with the Mansion and sunken rose garden as the stunning backdrop, exclusively for members and overnight guests.

Wellness at Commodore Perry Estate
Retreat from everyday routine into the sunken gardens and blissful hidden corners of Commodore Perry Estate. Sip fresh local coffee in the sun-warmed Solarium before you bolster internal and external strength in a pilates class.

Relax into elegance at a poolside lounge after a refreshing swim, and freely explore famous Texas landmarks on foot, by bike or by kayak. With weekly fitness classes, farm-fresh cuisine and curated experiences, like Candelight Consciousness, a mindful respite awaits in the heart of Austin.

Day of Holistic Exploration

Morning
Start your Saturday by rolling out of bed and getting your heart pumping with our custom CPE cardio workout, MoveStrong.

Led by local fitness instructor Edwardo Williams overlooking the Estate Gardens, he combines strength training, cardio and restorative stretches to create a personalized workout that will leave you sweaty and ready to take on the day.

On your way out, don’t forget to grab your complimentary wellness shot as you head to the Mansion to cool down with one of our Estate smoothies and a cold brew–the Green Gold has satiating avocado and housemade oat milk to restore your body after a hard workout.

Take your coffee to go with your personal CPE walking map as you meander through the historic neighborhood surrounding the Estate, Hyde Park.

Enjoy the rolling hills surrounding Hancock Golf Course, observe the massive historical oaks and pecan trees that line every street, and take in all the colorful Victorian and Craftsman homes from the late 19th century.

Afternoon
Keep moving with a small day hike and get out to where the real rolling hills of the Hill Country begin. Take one of our Mercedes and leave the top down as you head to the Hill of Life, a small day hike on the Greenbelt just 20 minutes in the Southwest part of the city.

Whether you’re needing a nice outing with your dog, an invigorating trail run, or just want to take in the beautiful sights, this hike has it all.

Head over to the scenic outlook to see miles down Barton Creek that cuts through acres of greenery and hills, or make your way all the way down to explore the falls and trails along the creek.

Depending on the amount of water in Barton Creek, you can keep heading south and you’ll run into the beautiful Sculpture Falls and then Twin Falls. The hike back up the Hill of Life will most likely leave you a bit sweaty, so head to Barton Springs for a classic cold plunge to cool down.

At 68-70 degrees year round, the natural spring-fed pool is known as the crown jewel of Austin, and THE spot to people-watch and soak in the local sights.

Evening
The Springs have been a center for hippie culture in Austin since the 60’s, and it hasn’t changed too much since then. Head to the Herb Bar not too far away on South Congress to see another classic South Austin alternative establishment.

Known as the “best place to cure what ails you,” you can explore 100’s of herbal elixirs for mind, body and soul.

Golf
Bring your golf clubs if you’d like to try out the 9-hole public Hancock Golf Course across the street.

Founded in 1899 by Lewis Hancock, the golf course is one of the oldest golf courses in Texas. Located in the heart of Austin, this par 35, 9-hole course carries up and down hills over beautiful Waller Creek and features small, well-manicured greens typical of the era in which it was built.

On the Trails
Explore the quaint Hancock Neighborhood surrounding the Estate. With independent shops and restaurants, the Hyde Park area can create an afternoon of exploring.

If you want to venture a little further out, take a walk around Town Lake, hike Mount Bonnell, or go for a round of frisbee golf at Zilker Park.

On the Water
