Graycliff Restaurant
Graycliff Restaurant’s cuisine epitomizes elegance in the finest continental and Bahamian tradition with a menu that is both delicious and distinctive. The secret recipes at Graycliff have set its reputation in the hallmark of the rich and famous. Creative culinary innovation has resulted in a variety of sumptuous dishes that are distinctly its own.

Sophistication and refinement have creatively transformed Bahamian dishes earning Graycliff Restaurant an international reputation for fine Bahamian cuisine. Your experience at Graycliff Restaurant begins in the parlour with its high ceilings and tranquil feeling.

Within moments of sinking into one of the sofas, one of the bar waiters will arrive with your favourite cocktail. After perusing the menu and placed your dinner order, you are then escorted to your table to enjoy your meal. The restaurant has four air-conditioned dining rooms and a garden dining area.

Each room has a special allusion to the era when Graycliff was a private home from the Library to the Gallery, where the family would retire after dinner to play cards. After your meal, you are invited to once again relax and enjoy the rest of your evening with an after-dinner cognac or cigar.

Wine Luncheons
Graycliff Restaurant, one of the Caribbean’s first Five-Star restaurants is offering a wine lover’s dream. Wine Luncheon guests are welcomed with a glass of champagne and led by one of Graycliff’s Sommeliers for a tour of the hotel and restaurant’s acclaimed Wine Cellar.

The Wine Luncheon participants are treated to a five-course, gourmet repast paired with the appropriate wines. The menu changes seasonally, but includes an appetizer, soup or salad, main course, cheese and dessert. Special meal requests are accommodated with advance notice.

Private Dining
Graycliff Restaurant also offers private dining – for intimate dinners to large groups. Private dining rooms include the Wine Cellar which can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests.

Afternoon Tea
Enjoy a relaxing interlude from the hustle and bustle of beach-going and sightseeing at the historic Graycliff Hotel for a Traditional Afternoon Tea. Graycliff celebrates this fine – and delicious – British tradition with a Bahamian twist. Afternoon Tea is offered Daily from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, reservations are required.

Humidor Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse
The Humidor Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse has diners saying so long to traditional menus and hello to unlimited portions of a variety of delectable meats.

The term Churrascaria (pronounced choo-rah-scah-ree-ah) dates back to the early 1800’s in the south of Brazil and refers to a restaurant that specializes in Rodizio- a Brazilian barbecue method of grilling, cutting and serving varieties of meats such as chicken, pork, beef, lamb and more.

At Humidor Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse, platter after platter of decadently seasoned, grilled and skewered meats are precisely cut and served tableside to each diner alongside a banquet-style buffet of tantalizing dishes ranging from simple salads and bean dishes to savoury vegetables, fresh fish and indulgent Brazilian specialties.

Giotto Pizzeria
Giotto Pizzeria offers diners an array of traditional 12” individual thin crust pizzas, hand tossed and cooked to perfection from the wood burning oven.

The menu includes the original Margherita and Meat Lovers pies to pizzas with a Bahamian twist, the Tropical with shrimp and mango and the Nutella for a sweet ending. Open for Lunch and Dinner, Monday to Saturday.

The Graycliff Wine Cellar
Graycliff’s Wine Cellar is world-renowned and the wine list has won the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1988 and the World of Fine Wines 3-stars since 2015. The Wine Cellar has an inventory of over 250,000 bottles from over 5000 vintners in 20 countries.

The Wine Cellar is a connoisseur’s dream, the inventory ranges from today’s most popular vintages to some of the rarest including an 1865 Château Lafite and the oldest and one of the most expensive bottles in the world, a 1727 Rudesheimer Apostelwein from Bremen Ratskeller in the “Rheinghau” Region.

Wine Tastings
Graycliff’s Wine & Cheese Pairings guides enthusiasts through a minimum of eight wine tastings, four red, four white, each paired with cheeses from around the world. Guests will also tour the famed Wine Cellar with its rare vintages and will receive a wine-themed souvenir. Available Monday to Friday at 2:00pm.

The Graycliff Cognateque
The Graycliff Cognateque is home to Graycliff’s collection of Cognacs, Armagnacs and Port. A pioneer in many ways, Graycliff presents another “first” for our guests to experience.

We invite you to our Cognateque – a place to appreciate and enjoy exceptional Cognacs and other spirits like Armagnacs, Ports and more. Graycliff’s Cognateque is a 9,000-bottle collection, 1,500 of which are collectors’ specials.

It is a true collector’s gem with super rare bottles from Courvoisier; a Reserve of the founder, the only 500 bottles ever made; a selection from the collection of Erte, the French artist and designer; and stars like special years from Hardy and museum pieces like Bottle #1, an 1893 from A.E. Dor. For the Cognac, Armagnac, Rum and spirit lover in you, Graycliff offers private tasting sessions.

Graycliff Lounge
Celebrated for its Champagne Cocktail and the Graycliff Special, The Lounge Bar at Graycliff Restaurant offers cocktail service every day from 11:30am to 11:30pm. A pianist plays each evening during dinner service.

Please note that the dress code in the Graycliff Lounge is strictly enforced after 6pm. The dress code is elegant; jackets are suggested and long trousers are required. No shorts allowed.

Poolside Bar
The Poolside Bar at Graycliff Hotel is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm, offering a full dining menu and bar service to guests.

Bar at The Piazza
The Bar at The Piazza is open from 11:30am to 11:00pm Monday to Saturday. A Friday evening Happy Hour takes place from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.

Bridal couples may design their own celebration, or choose from one of the packages offered by Graycliff. The hotel’s wedding co-coordinator is expert at setting up events with special attention to detail, taking care of the smallest requests and guiding the couple towards a joyous and stress-free wedding ceremony and reception.

Honeymoons in the Bahamas
Graycliff Hotel welcomes our discerning honeymooners with a special five-star treatment at no extra cost. Couples receive a bottle of Champagne, a specially selected gift and, on a space available basis, an upgrade to the next category of room. It is our pleasure to extend this courtesy.

Our Honeymoon Special has no expiration date. All that is required is that when booking, guests advise they going to be on their honeymoon and bring a copy of their marriage certificate dated within 12 months of their stay at Graycliff. This promotion may be withdrawn or changed without notice.

Escape Nassau
For visitors to Nassau who want to Escape from the hustle and bustle of the marketplace and the pier, they can relax in the serenity and the laid-back chic at the Caribbean’s first five-star hotel and restaurant, Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant.

You will be welcomed with the famous Graycliff Special cocktail and invited to take a brief tour of the hotel and its amenities. Then unwind for the day poolside and enjoy a three-course lunch. Towels are provided and changing rooms with showers are located by the pool.

Graycliff Culinary Academy
Enjoy full culinary immersion with Graycliff’s Executive Chef at the Graycliff Culinary Academy. In this interactive class where guests learn the art of Graycliff Restaurant’s cuisine, preparing a specially selected menu paired with a glass of wine.

Also included in each session is a tour of Graycliff’s Wine Cellar and a Graycliff apron to take home. All ingredients and materials needed for the Graycliff Culinary Academy will be supplied. The Graycliff Culinary Academy is currently on a request basis only.

Graycliff Cigar Company
The Garzaroli family founded the Graycliff Cigar Company when Enrico Garzaroli fell in love with cigars but was unable to find that “perfect” cigar to complement what Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant has always been known for — excellent cuisine, fine wines and luxurious accommodations.

The Graycliff Cigar Company, beginning production in January 1997 with a single roller in foyer of the Graycliff Restaurant, has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in the art of cigar rolling.

The Graycliff Cigar Company produces five brands of cigars: Graycliff, G2, Bahiba, Cabinet Selection by Graycliff and the newly introduced B-Cuz by Graycliff.

Visitors to The Graycliff Cigar Company, in addition to witnessing first-hand skilled torcedores at work, may also take a Cigar Rolling Lesson or a Cigar and Rum pairing session with our expert craftsmen. Become a torcedore and learn how to sort, clean, roll and store a cigar at the Graycliff Cigar Company. Hear about the history of tobacco, where the best leaves are grown and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Available at 10:30am; 1:30pm or 3:30pm and lasts one hour.

Cigar Rolling Demonstration with Rum Tasting
See our expert torcedores hand roll the award winning Graycliff Cigar and hear about tobacco and its history and how the Graycliff blends are created. Then enjoy a cigar and learn how to pair it with rum. Once you’ve become a connoisseur, you’ll sample a variety of world renowned rums from The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Graycliff Chocolatier
A chocoholic’s dream can come true. At Graycliff Chocolatier guests learn how to make their own chocolates under the tutelage of the master chocolatier or they can simply indulge in these delicious gourmet chocolates.

Gourmet chocolates and truffles are available for purchase at the boutique and select retailers throughout The Bahamas. Graycliff Chocolatier is open daily from 9am to 5pm; except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Graycliff The Art of Chocolate and Factory Tour
A perfect educational experience for the entire family. Enter the world of chocolate and learn about the chocolate-making process from bean to bar.

Your chocolate journey begins with the history of its Bahamas home then you’ll explore the factory and learn how cocoa beans become scrumptious candy – from being roasted and ground into cocoa nibs, stone ground into liquid chocolate then poured into sculpted moulds.

Finally, you’ll enter our classroom where you will create your own chocolate bar and other treats. Classes daily at 9:45am; 1:00pm and 3:00pm.

Chocolate & Spirits Pairing
For adults only, entice your taste buds as you travel on a delicious journey and learn the art of artisanal chocolate production and why certain chocolates taste better with particular spirits. Then savour a variety of fine chocolates produced in the Graycliff Chocolatier factory paired with premium spirits: rum, whiskey, port and more.

Imagine a sip of fine rum paired with a creamy chocolate which presents notes of buttery vanilla goodness or a whiskey matched with a Bahamian-fruit flavoured chocolate that titillates the taste buds. Available Monday to Friday at 11:15am.

The Heritage Museum of The Bahamas
The Heritage Museum of The Bahamas opened in July 2014 and is the foundation of Graycliff’s new Heritage Village. Located in the historically preserved Mountbatten House opposite the Graycliff Hotel on West Hill Street, the museum offers visitors an in depth look at the history and heritage of The Bahamas, ranging from the pre-historic times to the present.

The majority of pieces in the exhibition are owned by Hamilton White, a well-known British antiques collector. Mr. White’s expansive collection greatly complements the history of West Hill Street with fossils, relics and treasures spanning the centuries, the oldest of artefacts being a slice of a meteorite, which is approximately 4.5 billion years old.

The timeline explores natural history, the days of Columbus, the piracy era, slavery and plantation life, the Maritimes of the 18th century, life in the Out Islands during the early 1900’s, the days of the Duke of Windsor, the Royal Air Force, Bahamas Speed Weeks, and so much more.

The Heritage Museum is a great venue for history and culture buffs and is open daily from 9am to 5pm; except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Bahamas Ghost Tours

Bahama Barrels is the first winery in the Bahamas, housed in a charming 1937 church built by the Sisters of Charity. Although the Bahamas is not a wine producer, Bahama Barrels bottles wines blended from grapes from several countries making it a truly unique Bahamian experience.

At Bahama Barrels, guests can taste wines from across the globe, learn the entire grape-growing season and wine-making process. Bahama Barrels is open is open daily from 9am to 5pm (except Christmas Day).

Wine Blending Class at Bahama Barrels
