In a charming and warming ambiance, the restaurant is in the very capable hands of chef Teco. His recipes blend local Bahian flavor and the finest international cuisine perfectly
The hotel also offers menus for vegetarians, those who are lactose intolerant and celiacs, all created together with the chef Patricia Helu. Another highlight is our wine list with approximately 35 types from several regions around the world.
All are kept in a climate-controlled wine cellar. Our selection includes red, white and rosé wines that have been carefully selected to complement the Fazenda’s celebrated menu.
Corumbau
There are certain places that are the way they are because they are far from civilization. Corumbau is no exception; it is an environmental reserve protected by IBAMA (The Brazilian Environmental Protection Agency) and the navy.
Corumbau is the beginning of an unforgettable journey. 15 km of deserted white-sand shoreline and crystal-clear water, with huge coconut palm trees by the sea.
Coral reefs galore that extend 10 km into the ocean and disappear when the tide rises. Cliffs of different shades embrace the waters revealing the generosity of Mother Nature in all her splendor.
Nothing beats the calm waters of Ponta do Corumbau to get your feet wet in stand-up paddle. All you need is a board and a paddle to enjoy this simple pleasure. Hop on a bike and wander along the endless shore when the tide is low is an excellent way to contemplate the place’s natural beauty.
Late in the afternoon you can take a boat at Corumbau river to sail through the well-preserved mangrove channels and enjoy an unforgettable sunset. How about taking a canoe across the Corumbau river, hop on a buggy on the other side and pass along the Pataxò Indian reserve?
This small adventure will then take you to Caraiva, a village full of local craft shops and where you can taste the famous stingray fried pastry at the Bar do Parà.
Bikes, stand-up paddle, slacklining, kayak trips, massages, the Pataxò tribal dance, a visit to the Monte Pascoal National Park, a tour of Caraiva, boat or speedboat rides, the Corumbau River, the historical landmark of Barra do Cahy, reefs, Espelho beach and beach tennis.
