This is our most luxurious guest room and, at Blair Hill Inn, that’s saying a lot. Built as an addition but created to look like it has always been here, Room 9 is exceptional. Our only first floor guest room, this space is extremely private with stunning views of Moosehead Lake.
There is a beautiful king size bed and two sets of tall, french doors that lead to a private balcony overlooking the lake. The floor to ceiling tiled gas fireplace oozes warmth and style.
And, the private bathroom with a deep soaking tub just under a window for ‘star-gazing’, the glass walled shower and beautiful vanity add sparkle and shine to this absolutely over-the-top guest room.

Our culinary services include a complimentary full breakfast for guests of the inn each and every morning, dinners each Tuesday through Saturday. Please note that our dining, while available for guests of the inn five nights a week, is only open to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

The six-course tasting menus begin each spring when seeds are planted in our greenhouse and gardens. When cuisine is driven by what’s ripe from the gardens or from local farms and is artfully homemade, each course becomes pure pleasure.
Enjoyed while overlooking beautiful Moosehead Lake – dinning here is special. The bar & cocktail lounge, fireplaces and a huge porch where you can sit with your beverage and watch the sun set over the mountains and lake await you. Our wait staff is sincere and professional. Our desire is to share the culture, traditions and foods of Northern Maine. We don’t just source our ingredients locally, we go the extra mile and design each weekly menu to reflect the spirit and seasons of Maine.
Our Executive Chef Michael MacDonnell, a native Mainer himself, creates dishes with exciting flavors, seasonal to that moment in time. We partner closely with area farmers, foragers and purveyors to supplement our own, on-property green house and gardens.
The 80-acres of fields and woodlands surrounding the inn provide an abundance of wild ingredients as well.
Combine all this with Chef McDonnell’s expertise in Thai cuisine (he married into a Thai family) and to say your palette wiil be pleased is an understatement.

The outdoor deck set amid the woods and New England barn buildings is a wonderful place to relax for awhile. The outdoor theraputic hot tub and traditional sauna are a favorite with our guests.
Offering a variety of massages (couples too), body scrubs and facials, each treatment is designed to either ease and soothe or energize and invigorate. Featuring Farmaesthetics, you will be treated with all-natural products created to enhance health and beauty.
The body scrubs are house-made with herbs and flowers from Blair Hill’s grounds and gardens chosen for their restorative properties. Our staff of licensed massage therapists and certified esthetician are uniquely engaged in a desire to make you feel at ease and peaceful.

Silhouetted against the deep blue sky as it rises from the hillside atop 20-foot-high stone walls, Blair Hill Inn is enthralling. What makes an immediate impression as you make your way through the stone posts and up the winding drive, is the expansive, pastoral landscape surrounding this 1891 gentleman’s farm house.
As if the beauty of the restored, 1891 historic manor which faces out over Moosehead Lake were not enough to impress, Blair Hill Inn’s 80 acres sprawling over the hillside in a varied pattern of gardens, old stone walkways, woodlands and picturesque fields, will stir your senses.
Here, there is a country lane with apple trees and wild berry bushes; there, is a tranquil pond of lily pads with trout darting between their roots. Take a quiet moment in Adirondack chairs on a glacier stone platform in the woods and watch the sun dance through the trees. Or, spend an evening lying wrapped in a cozy blanket and experience the star filled night sky.

The average price is $200 – $250 per guest including location, ceremony, reception dinner, bar service, taxes and gratuities. Additionally, the inn’s guest rooms must be reserved over the weekend of your wedding.
