Alpasión Lodge is an ideal place for unforgettable experiences… The lodge is located in Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, just an hour and a half away from the city of Mendoza.
Alpasión Lodge has 5 luxurious double rooms and 1 family room. All rooms have private terraces, cable TV and Wi-Fi internet. Each room has a unique style based on one of the elements: metal, wood, earth, air, water, fire. Three of the guest rooms can be configured as twins if required.
We also have a “Glamping” area consisting of 3 luxury tents. Each tent is equipped with a private bathroom, king size bed, safe, mini bar and Nespresso machine, private deck with small hot tub where you can relax admiring the surroundings.
The tubs were hand made in “Tierra del fuego” of wood that comes from 30 year old (sustainable) forests. The Lodge & Restaurant are just a few meters away.
Our facilities include a Wine Cellar to taste an excellent variety of wines from the region, a large dining room, cozy living room to unwind and a library with a fireplace where you can enjoy reading our collection of books.
Outside there is a pool with a jacuzzi and a relaxing private garden patio surrounded by olive trees. Our roof terrace with outside fireplace is an ideal place for an afternoon drink, offering you a beautiful view of the impressive Andes Mountains. Our cuisine has a distinctive Argentinian style with a gourmet touch, making our meals unique.
The people behind this project are all wine lovers who decided to make a dream come true by making honest, iconic wines together. We decided to name our inaugural release “Alpasión,” a combination of the Spanish “alma” (soul) and “pasión” (passion).
The Alpasión label features the fingerprints and signatures of all of the winery’s owners as testimony to friendship for life.
The winery owns 85 hectares of land and although not certified just yet, Alpasión practices sustainable organic farming to ensure the health of soils, ecosystems and people. Even part of the vineyard is planted in the shape of a giant fingerprint.
THE ELEMENTAL ROOMS
Spending time in Nature helps us obtain and retain balance in our lives. The healing process of what ancient Oriental civilizations called “The Elements” remind us of how we are a part of the natural world around us and helps us put our lives into focus in a larger context.
The guest rooms at Alpasion Lodge have been designed and decorated to enhance the essence of each of these natural Elements.
Wood Room
The Wood Element brings out the Pioneer and Strategist in us. The room emphasizes our ability to be strong and flexible, generous and idealistic. It brings us together with springtime – the beginning of life.
Earth Room
The Earth Element is the most powerful of all the Elements. It is the source of stability, home to material wealth and abundance, connected with our hearts, and evokes our thoughtfulness and practicality.
Water Room
The Water Element brings out our nurturing, philosophical side. It is a huge and powerful force of life, and when Water is in balance, we know how to use our resources wisely.
Alpasión Restaurant
The food at Alpasión Lodge has always been a highlight and one of the many reasons to come back amongst guests and visitors.
Our new, intimate restaurant is located next to the lodge and offers scrumptious lunch and dinner to guests staying with us at Alpasión, visitors to the area who are looking for a special place to enjoy a meal and locals wanting to get away for an afternoon or evening.
Alpasión Restaurant opened its doors in December 2015 and we currently serve a four course menu of traditional Argentine cuisine with a gourmet touch. We are open for lunch and dinner by reservation only.
Our restaurant seats up to 25 people in a cozy and intimate setting overlooking the Andes. On beautiful, warm days you are welcome to enjoy the outside lounge area and on cooler nights we invite you to move inside and warm up next to the fire.
The cooking techniques used in our restaurant focus on fire: BBQ or “Parrilla” clay oven and cast iron casseroles over wood. Our vegetables and herbs come from our own garden and the rest of our ingredients are sourced locally.
Of course, all of our dishes pair perfectly with our own wines, as well as a selection of other wines from the region we have available.

You can spend a romantic evening enjoying our wines by the fireplace, sign up for our Wine Tasting, challenge your family and friends to a board game or simply enjoy some quiet time reading a book from our library or watching a movie from our collection of Oscar winner’s dating from 1995.
Uco Valley a place close to the sky
Alpasión Lodge is located in a beautiful area called Uco Valley, in the province of Mendoza. The Uco Valley is a wine region known worldwide for the production of top quality wines, such as the iconic Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot among other red and white grapes.
The area is surrounded by some of the most famous and world known wineries. Many of them offer guided tours with the possibility to taste their wines, experience the local cuisine and even spend the night there.
The Uco Valley is located at the North of the Tunuyan river with altitudes ranging from 900 to 1200 meters above sea level (the heights in the region), with breathtaking views of the stunning Andes Mountains, at a distance of one and a half hour from the Mendoza Airport.
The nearest town is Tunuyan (15 minutes by car) where you can find all the basic things you need such as supermarkets, pharmacies, gas station and other shops. Tupungato is a bit further away (30 minutes by car), but it is much bigger and also offers other activities related to the wine tourism.
