The Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is the closest jungle hotel to Manaus and maintains one of the largest jungle structures in the Amazon. The rooms are spread out among the trees, with lighted paths that lead to the restaurant or the pier.

There are four natural pools and a private beach available to guests. Among the activities is the trip to the “Floresta dos Macacos”, a reserve where animals found in an irregular situation readapt to the forest. There, twice a day, guests can watch the feeding of monkeys, macaws and other animals.

The immensity of the horizon and the grandeur of the forest. Surrounded by native forest, the #AmazonEcopark is in the midst of nature, totally private, a refuge within the immensity that is the Amazon rainforest.

The Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is the closest jungle hotel to Manaus and maintains one of the largest jungle structures in the Amazon. The hotel is located on the Tarumã River, a tributary of the Rio Negro, less than 1 hour (by car and boat) from Eduardo Gomes International Airport, and from the main hotels in the city.

Access is quick and quite easy. We welcome customers at the airport with one of our employees from the operations department (customer’s name plate and the employee will be in uniform).

The transfer will be carried out in our cars (sedan type), vans, minibuses or buses to the Águas Claras Marina (approximately 15 minutes).

In the heart of the Amazon, the #AmazonEcopark has 70 apartments immersed in the forest distributed in the Standard, Superior and Superior Plus categories.

The apartments are adapted for people with special needs and some have the option of being connected with interconnection between rooms, which may vary in availability.

The complex also has a pier for guests to embark and disembark, a bar, a convenience and handicraft store, a restaurant in the form of an indigenous maloca, a maloca for rest with hammocks and loungers, natural pools and a private beach.

A real opportunity for the visitor to see birds of different species, gigantic trees, exotic orchids, medicinal plants and much more. Living the experience of staying in a jungle hotel is a unique and incredible feeling.

The contact with Nature, getting to know the culture and the local cuisine, walking in the forest, swimming with the dolphins, seeing the meeting of the waters and all the charm of the Amazon, are adventures that will stay in your memories forever.

Traditional Bungalow
Our traditional wooden bungalows have either double beds (1 per room) or 02 single beds per room that convert into queen size beds. All with air conditioning, minibar and bathrooms with electric shower. There is no TV in the apartment.

Superior Bungalow
The traditional renovated ones, now in masonry and larger than the traditional ones, 01 with a “King Size” bed and all the others with double beds and/or “twins” beds (2 single beds) that turn into “queen size” beds. . 08 units turn into Triples or Quadruples. All with air conditioning, minibar and bathrooms with electric shower. There is no TV in the apartment.

Dining

The gastronomy at ECOPARK is always an attraction in itself. For breakfast, fresh seasonal fruits are served (watermelon, papaya, bananas, etc.), a variety of regional fruit juices (taperebá, cupuaçu, açaí, soursop, etc.), savory and sweet breads, cookies, white and yellow cheeses, ham, cakes, toast, pancakes, jellies, butter, coffee, milk, chocolate and assorted teas.

Eggs (scrambled, fried, omelets) are freshly prepared for each guest by a dedicated employee. Lunch and dinner: buffet style, always with a variety of meat, chicken and fish options (tambaqui, peacock bass, pirarucu, pacu and etc.), hot side dishes (white rice, baked, fried, boiled potatoes), vegetables, salads ( lettuce, carrots, broccoli, tomato etc.), our desserts are full of fresh seasonal fruits (papaya, pineapple, mango)

MONKEY FOREST
Departure from the hotel in motorized canoes (only 5 minutes of navigation) to the Center for Rehabilitation and Reintroduction of Wild Animals, known as “Forest of the Monkeys”.

Created in 1991 with the aim of receiving animals confiscated from illegal trade, it has the help of the Triage and Quarantine Center of the Municipal Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability – SEMMAS.

In this place the animals are initially quarantined, to be later evaluated and treated by veterinarians and biologists. In partnership with Fundação Floresta Viva (FFV), a non-profit institution maintained by the Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge, a feeding practice was created twice a day, the animals receive supplements from the food they take from the forest, with the necessary nutrients for a healthy diet.

At this time, the site is open to visitors, always accompanied by qualified professionals, allowing tourists to film and photograph in a totally natural and safe environment. Duration: approximately 1 hour, two times daily > 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.

WALK IN THE JUNGLE
ECOPARK includes countless species of plants in the midst of virgin forest, crystal clear streams and natural savannas. Several trails allow guests to explore the jungle spotting exotic orchids and gigantic trees.

During the walk, always accompanied by experienced guides, clients will learn about how and where to obtain edible fruits and drinking water, how to find their way among the trees and bushes, learn about medicinal plants/insects and… much more.

This tour takes place within the large area owned by ECOPARK, normally right after breakfast. Duration: from 1 to 3 hours > depending on the health conditions or age of the clients.

VISIT CABOCLO’S HOUSE
Departure from the hotel in a motorized canoe, always accompanied by a local guide, to learn about the customs and traditions of the riverside inhabitants called Caboclos (miscegenation between whites and Indians).

After a few minutes of navigation we will arrive at the place where we will visit an authentic caboclo house, surrounded by some examples of the daily life of this resident. Among other attractions, the planting of manioc will be appreciated, as well as the process of producing flour from this root, the basis of the region’s diet.

Also, the rubber smoking process with the transformation of liquid latex extracted from rubber trees into solid rubber, presentation of medicinal herbs commonly used in treatments for various ailments and some stories of the lives of those who live on the banks of the rivers of the Amazon. Duration: approximately 1 hour.

FISHING
Departure from the hotel by motorized canoe to a place not far away, always accompanied by an experienced guide, to try to catch local fish such as piranhas or other species.

The fishing spot can be from the canoe itself parked in a quiet creek (river channel) or from the base of a floating boat (a type of wooden raft) in the region. *This fishing is amateur and the material used is composed of simple rods, lines and common hooks. Duration: approximately 1 hour.

NIGHT TOUR
Departure in a motorized canoe around the hotel, always accompanied by an experienced guide, to enjoy the nocturnal sounds of the jungle with the possibility of spotting small alligators or other nocturnal animals. When the guide spots an alligator, it will try to paralyze it using the strong light of its flashlight.

Normally, the eyes of alligators glow like small red lights, allowing them to be located. Then the guide will carefully try to catch the animal with his own hands and bring it on board to explain all the curiosities about this reptile.

At the end of the explanation, the alligator is returned to the river without any damage to it. Note: in the high season of the rivers (April, May, June, July and beginning of August) and during moonlit nights, it becomes more difficult to locate alligators.
