Morina Deluxe Hotel is in a fantastic location affording breathtaking views of the mountains and Ölüdeniz. The hotel is in an old olive grove and the beautifully landscaped gardens are overflowing with hibiscus, roses and dahlias.

Morina Hotel has a delightful, large swimming pool, offering lots of space and comfortable sunbeds. The hotel’s la carte restaurant serves superb lunch and dinner but it is only a ten minute walk to the bars, restaurants, shops and of course the outstanding Ölüdeniz beach and lagoon.

Ours hotel was completely renovated in 2013 and has a new identity. Consists of 36 superior deluxe rooms, three family rooms, three custom designed suites, in two attractive buildings on three floors.

The local market town and harbor of fethiye is easily reached by dolmuş (dolmush) , and a has a great range of shops , bars ,restaurants and nightclubs. For people who prefer to stay closer to home , only five mınutes and accessible by dolmuş or taxi, three is Hisarönü ,where you can fınd many bars restaurants and shops.

According to the gods, the sun god Apollo falls in love with the little girl of King Agenor of Finike. Apollo pose as the dog to get close to the shy girl.Because as a god can not open his senses to this mortal girl and look like a loyal dog to be with her.

Over time Apollo, who has won the love of her, becomes a young man and marries a girl. The name of the born sons is Telmessos. Here is that Telmessos is the first name of Fethiye today. Athena, Orion, Apellon; Fethiye antique theaters, rock tombs and a place that makes you feel mythology.

Ölüdeniz
Ölüdeniz is a neighborhood of Fethiye district, Muğla province. Oludeniz beach was selected as the most beautiful beach in the world in 2006 with 82% of the votes.

The district is quite developed in terms of tourism. Here is known as place of Light and Sun in the Lycian period and “Far Place” in the Middle Ages and it is located on the Teke Peninsula, located on the southwest of Anatolia. It is one of the lagoon formations in Turkey.

Ölüdeniz is a calm lake like its name. While Belceğiz shores are struggling with waves on the stormiest days, only a little high waves are seen in Ölüdeniz.

However, Ölüdeniz, which seems calm renews itself almost every day for three reasons which are not visible. First of all, the intensive spring water outputs in Ölüdeniz form a current from bottom to open sea, in deep of sea.

Second, Because of the salt rate difference created by these spring waters, a continuous circulation come out from open sea to inner and from inner to open sea.

The third, sea level rises and descends about half a meter with tidal effect every two or three days It provides that sea water can enter and exit the lake in large quantities.

Gemiler Island
The former name of Gemiler Island was Aya Nikola. There are church remains belonging to the early Christian period and Byzantine Empire (from the 5th to the 11th century) on the island. The frescoes of great church are in good condition. There are also cistern remains by the sea.

The most interesting remain is a tunnel connecting two churches. Some parts of the 500-meter tunnel are collapsed. There are 17 stops among the stairs in the tunnel, they represent that the prophet Jesus was forced to wait on the road 17 times while being taken to the crucifixion.

After earthquakes that took place in the years of 240-241, some of the remains on the coast were flooded. The sunken remains can be seen two meters under sea.

Butterfly Valley
Butterfly Valley is a natural treasure within the borders of the town of Ölüdeniz in Fethiye county in Muğla province. Surrounded by steep rocky walls reaching 350 meters, the valley is named after more than 80 species of butterflies it hosts, especially Kaplan butterflies.

The waterfall, which is located in the village of Faralya and spill into a valley 50 meters high, reaches the Mediterranean with a stream passing through the middle of the valley.

Afkule Monastery
It is a little tiring but, you will not be able to believe in so extraordinary scenery that you come across after a forest walk. Infinite blueness of the Mediterranean, the beauty of a frightening cliff and Hagios Elefterios Monastery known as Afkule should be definitely seen.

The monk named Elefterios is said to build this monastery because he chose a remote way of life away from everybody. He built the monastery by carving rocks with simple tools and he suffered throughout his life here.

Paradise Bay
Cennet Bay is the third place after the Butterfly Valley and Kabak Bay, which is bound to the Fethiye district of Muğla on the south-west of Turkey.

The real name is Balartlı Bay. Due to its beauty and its nature that looks like paradise, it was called Cennet bay by people who sometimes visit here. The valley in the unique nature surrounded by majestic mountains represents paradise with the same beautiful turquoise color sea and white beach.

Katrancı Bay
Katrancı Nature Park is on the side of Muğla – Fethiye Highway, 15 km away from Fethiye. It is a nature park, nested with nature, having a forest covered with pine and eucalyptus trees, where you can have swimming facilities in 2 separate bays and which is preferred by tent and caravan customers for years.

Saklıkent
The first thing coming to mind about Fethiye is sea. Although it is relaxing to spend time on the seaside, you will like it a lot if you go on a day excursion to Saklikent canyon that is one of the wonders of nature.

The Saklikent national park which is an hour’s drive from Fethiye is one of the unique beauties that everybody should visit.

Turunç Pınar Bay
Turunc Pınarı Bay received its name from a hill about 400 meters high from the sea, which is covered with bitter orange trees, and hosted a Greek family.

Cleopatra Bathhouse
The other names of Aphrodite Bay are Cleopatra Bath and Monastery bay. This bay is famous for its structure that is said to be a bathhouse built during Cleopatra’s visit to Rome. Cleopatra Bath can only be reached by boats departing from Fethiye and Göcek by seaways.

Tlos
The ancient city of Tlos involved in Yakaköy borders of Muğla province Seydikemer district is located on the 25th km of Fethiye-Antalya road.

Tlos, which is located on the southwestern edge of Akdaglar that are the highest mountains of the region and three sides of which were surrounded by steep rocky plains, is one of the most important western Lycian cities in the Xanthos Valley.

The sovereignty of the city is so extensive that it is neighbor to Patara and Xanthos in the east, to Kadyanda and Telmessos in the west, and to Pinara in the south.

Belcekiz Beach
The region is located in Fethiye district of Muğla. The beach is located approximately 12 kilometers away from central Fethiye. Belcekiz beach is one of the most important and beautiful beaches of the region and the world. One side of beach is connected to world famous Ölüdeniz lagoon.

Telmessos
Telmessos is an ancient city that was firstly settled in Fethiye. Fethiye has been the only center where the settlement has continued all the time since its establishment in the Mediterranean coastal belt and its ancient name was Telmossos.

Although the city’s history extended as far as the third millennium BC according to some philological determinations, the works to confirm those periods have not yet been reached.

Many earthquakes that have occurred since antiquity and the new settlement concept have caused the disappearance of antique buildings over time.

However, tombs carved into the rocks in the southern part of the modern city and tombs at various points of the city are assessed as the oldest remains reached today since ancient period.

The most famous and most spectacular of rock tombs is undoubtedly Amyntas tomb according to writing on the solae wall. The theater remains unearthed during excavations of the museum in recent years provide some information about the settlement and the organization of the city in the Ancient Period.

Kayaköy
Kayaköy is a well-known neighborhood of Muğla’s Fethiye district. Kayaköy consists of two very different settlement areas. First of all, it is a relatively recent settlement founded in the beginning of the 19th century, which is an important place in tourism and is established on the slopes.

The whole population was Greek and it reached a size of 3000 population in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. Its old name was Levissi. Although the houses collapsed after 1957 Fethiye earthquake, it attracts a lot of tourists because it is a live museum.
