Enveloped by lush foliage, Amanpulo’s three-bedroom villa is tucked away in a quiet corner of the island, providing an expansive secluded beachfront for guests to enjoy.

The view from the Beachclub’s main pavilion is among Amanpulo’s most photographed – an endless expanse of clear turquoise water dotted with islands. Delight in this idyllic spot by choosing a table beneath its iconic roof, on its tree-shaded deck, or in between sun loungers on the shore.

Inspired by the freshness and vitality of Mediterranean cuisine and the abundance of local seafood, the Beachclub menu also features a number of bold, heartwarming dishes handpicked from Arva’s menu by Amanpulo’s Executive Chef. A signature Aman restaurant, Arva is a tribute to the conviviality and warmth of traditional Italian family dining.

Its unique location also makes it an ideal venue for private toes-in-sand dinner celebrations.

In a forest clearing just metres from the shore, wooden picnic tables await beneath white beach umbrellas and a canopy of trees. Children can build sandcastles while you relax with a freshly-made drink.

Herbs, seasonal salad greens and local vegetables are handpicked from the island’s organic farm daily by the Picnic Grove’s chefs. Whether combined in a fresh salad or used as a pizza topping, these delicious, health-giving greens are the perfect complement to the genuine Italian pizzas.

Crafted by hand and cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, the Picnic Grove’s artisanal pizzas are a delight. Whether you prefer the old favourites or something more innovative, there is no doubt you will find your perfect pizza.

For authenticity, fresh seafood is complemented with the finest locally-sourced produce to create the signature Nama experience unique to Aman resorts around the world.

Throughout the day, savour a delicious meal under the shade of trees just steps away from the sea by the outdoor grove. With moonlight dancing over the sea and the gentle susurration of waves lapping the shoreline, marvel at the tranquil Pamalican evening on the deck. The Lagoon Club is also the perfect venue for a memorable private event.

Amanpulo is a place of peace, where relaxation and wellness go hand in hand. Nestled on the northern hillside, at the highest point of the island, the Aman Spa is the epitome of balance and tranquility. Wellness and fitness specialists are in residence, with frequent visiting wellness experts adding their own range of specialist therapies to the already comprehensive spa menu.

One of many soothing therapies available in the spa, the Hilot massage alternates hot and cold to rebalance areas of tension, making use of banana leaves and cold-pressed coconut oil.

Enjoy a private session with one of our expert yoga or meditation guides in our tranquil yoga studio or in a quiet jungle glade close to the shore. Daily group classes are also offered.

This full body massage is named Pag-asa, after the Filipino for ‘hope’. Using the cumulative healing knowledge of our expert therapists, it aims to channel intuition and kindness to heal and rejuvenate. Proceeds benefit the Andres Soriano Foundation, which supports education, healthcare and financial sustainability on Manamoc Island.

Able to accommodate up to 200 guests if booked in its entirety, the white-sand beaches, turquoise seas and pristine coral reefs of Amanpulo offer a consummately private island retreat for the most exclusive occasions. The epitome of an exclusive tropical escape, the resort offers impeccable open-air celebrations, where guests are invited to reconnect with one another and Mother Nature.

Meaningful ceremonies can be held in a host of picturesque settings, while receptions – whether an alfresco banquet in a forest grove or a fire-lit beach barbeque as the sun sets – are adorned with seasonal tropical flowers and guests serenaded by talented local musicians.

As per tradition in the Philippines, the betrothed must spend the night before their wedding in separate accommodations, catching their first glimpse of each other on this momentous day as the bride walks down the aisle – be it a palm fringed stretch of sand or a winding path through a tree-canopied glade.

After the exchanging of vows and rings, celebrate beneath the bougainvillea-laden trellis that overlooks the pool and distant islands, aboard one of Amanpulo’s luxury boats, in the convivial Picnic Grove or any of the island’s exquisite dining venues.

As renowned for their hospitality as for their musical talent, Filipinos are exceptional hosts. Add in Amanpulo’s magical setting, and private celebrations have a joie de vivre and beauty about them that make them unforgettable. Menus and entertainment can be personalised to suit the occasion, be it a special birthday or an anniversary, and multi-day events can include a host of venues and activities.

Enjoy a guided snorkelling expedition with your guests before a champagne breakfast at the Beachclub or release turtle hatchlings (in season) before sunset drinks aboard the floating Kawayan Bar.

Alternatively, for more intimate occasions, Amanpulo’s spacious villas and casitas enjoy beachfront, hillside and treetop settings, with privacy and seclusion making for the perfect private dining location.

Fill your days with aquatic adventures from kite surfing and scuba diving, to snorkelling and kayaking, or experience all the on-shore activities Amanpulo has to offer including tennis, cycling, bird watching and a jungle obstacle course. At night, get up close to the stars with our astronomical refracting telescope.

There is no better balm for the soul than sunshine and sea. Powdery white sand beaches encircle the whole of Pamalican Island, ideal for circumnavigating Amanpulo barefoot. Umbrellas and sun loungers are positioned on the beach near the Beach Club, with its open-air pavilion and deck.

Pristine coral reefs stretching over seven square kilometres start just 300 metres from the island’s sandy shores, and crystal clear waters ensure excellent visibility. Amanpulo has its own PADI Dive Centre, and our scuba and snorkelling guides cater to all levels, including complete beginners.

Positioned on the island’s north-western shoreline just back from the beach, Amanpulo’s spacious, fully staffed Dive Centre offers a professional, safe, and welcoming environment in which to learn the ropes or relax with refreshments between dives. All equipment provided is of the highest quality.

Overseen by PADI dive pros, Amanpulo offers everything from Bubble Maker Experiences for young adventurers and PADI’s flagship Open Water course, to Enriched Air Nitrox and Specialty Courses (including night and deep dives) for advanced divers.

The one-hour Scuba Refresher course is ideal for instilling confidence after a break, while the Five-Day Programme is the perfect choice for certified divers wanting to maximise their time underwater during their stay.

With most sites less than 10 minutes away in the resort’s custom-built speed boat, diving from Amanpulo is completely hassle-free, whether you’re diving with a group or your own personal dive master.

Friendly batfish, sergeants, wrasses and parrotfish await amidst the hard and soft corals of the House Reef, while Rocky Cove is known for its large schools of jackfish, trevallies and fusiliers. Then there’s The Pier, South Point, West Villa Reef and Casita 40, all with their own unique attractions.

With crystal clear, warm waters and unspoilt coral reefs, the sea surrounding Pamalican Island is a paradise for scuba divers of all levels. Visibility ranges from 20 to 30 metres (60 to 100 feet) and water temperatures from 26°C (79°F) to 30°C (86°F), ensuring possibly the clearest, most comfortable dives ever experienced.

The region’s pristine coral reefs host an amazing array of marine life, and almost every dive features a turtle or two cruising through a myriad tropical fish.

Watching turtle hatchlings emerge from their nests and make their way to the moonlit ocean is a magical experience bar none. Pamalican Island is a nesting site for green and hawksbill turtles, visited every year from March to October by laying females.

With an exquisite crystal clear lagoon offering moderate waves and strong consistent winds, Amanpulo is a kite surfer’s paradise. Kite surfers of all levels can launch right from the beach and hone their skills on the lagoon’s vast expanse of shallow turquoise water with a sandy bottom and moderate waves.

With clear blue, warm waters, and a bottom of predominantly white sand and occasional sea grass, our lagoon resembles a natural swimming pool, making it easy to walk around and learn how to kite. Strategically located to catch the windsport-ideal amihan (northeasterly wind) from December to March, the island also benefits from the venturi caused by larger neighbouring islands.

Guests will be linked to their instructor via radio headsets for speed, safety and ease of learning while on the water. Lessons can also include video footage for reviewing the session.

In collaboration with Naish, some of the world’s most accomplished kitesurfers gather on Pamalican Island, sharing their expertise and tales of the high seas with Amanpulo guests. Lessons are comprehensive and personally tailored to skill levels.

Amanpulo’s large fleet of boats is available for a variety of activities and excursions, as well as private cruise charters.
