ACCOMMODATIONS
Borgo Sentinella is a splendid example of rural restoration with a technique that uses materials and methods of the past with low environmental impact.

Here guests can spend an unforgettable stay within the walls of a typical 18th century Salento farm in a refined and elegant environment, where nothing is left to chance and where everything evokes the traditions of the past.

Some accommodations have come from the old stables and have the typical vaulted ceilings, while others have ceilings with the characteristic star design from the ancient Salento farms. All accommodations have been carefully restored with the use of environmentally friendly materials.

The walls have been rebuilt with lime, hemp and cement to help maintain a constant room temperature of 20 degrees throughout the year. The minimalist and refined furnishings were conceived in accordance with the farm’s original style.

The farm consists of 9 studio apartments BORGO DELUXE ranging in size from 25 to 35 sq m, two apartments BORGO MAGNIFICA on two levels of 45 sq m and 6 double bedrooms of 20 sq m.

The accommodations are divided into three blocks with names that relate to the area: Cappero (caper), Cuti (rocks), Vite (vineyard). The names of the six rooms are a tribute to the area and its peculiarities: Mosto, Negramaro, Primitivo, Carparo, Tufo and Chianca.

All accommodations contain a living corner, mini-bar, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, flat-screen TV and a free wi-fi internet connection. Some rooms also include a fully furnished kitchenette. The double bedrooms and the studios located on the ground floor have a patio where you can relax and enjoy the cool evening.

Each accommodation has been designed to make you live in harmony with the area in an evocative architectural setting where every detail evokes culture and life experiences of the past and illustrates the magical land of Salento.

Borgo Sentinella offers its guests a beautiful outdoor swimming pool located in the farm’s ancient courtyard and also offers a solarium area with sun beds and parasols. In the farm’s large garden, filled with reeds, carob trees and pomegranates, guests can take long walks immersed in the rich Mediterranean vegetation.
