NATURE & ENVIRONMENT
Cabo Serai is built on the premise of sustainability using native materials such as wood, laterite stones and earth with techniques that sustain minimal structural impact on the site.
A considerable amount of our décor is sourced from local craftsmen, providing our rooms with indigenous and tasteful detailing. A luxurious ambience is created using natural fabrics, eco-friendly mattresses and materials.
At Cabo Serai, we implement exceptional measures to ensure our actions receive positive reactions to the world around us. Driven by compassion, discovery and wellbeing, our goal is to set an example – to be the purveyors of a sustainable approach towards hospitality as well as the environment.
Our local community is of paramount importance, and we take immense pride in supporting them by sourcing produce locally, hiring locally and utilizing the local tradecrafts.
At Cabo Serai, we discourage the use of single-use plastic and actively seek innovative solutions to progressively reduce, reuse and recycle. Waste is carefully managed through garbage segregation and composting, while water in the rooms is served in copper dispensers to eliminate the use of plastic bottles.
All of our organic toiletries are provided in stone and wood dispensers to avoid plastic packaging. Recycled water is utilized for irrigation and our landscaping uses native plants, specifically designed to positively enhance the pristine habitat for our plentiful birds and butterflies.

Our carefully crafted menu is tailored to our guest’s dietary preferences woven with local organic ingredients. Selected fruit, vegetables and herbs are sourced from our organic garden.
Other fresh produce such as grain and seafood are sourced from local fair-trade suppliers. Our daily changing menus use the freshest produce in its most wholesome and natural form providing you with a nutritious meal. A wellness-focused menu is also available and based on Sattvic philosophy.
Beverages
Our bar list comprises mostly of local and Indian brands of beers, spirits and wines. Also available, is a cocktail list curated using home grown ingredients.

Heritage Walk
Delve into the history of Goa by exploring this 19 th century Portugese fortress that also served as a government prison. The ramparts of Cabo de Rama fort offer stunning views of the Arabian sea and is a popular spot for viewing the Indo Asian humpback dolphin.
Another walk leads you to Betul fort and lighthouse. Built by Shivaji on the mouth of the river Sal, the Betul fort is an ideal setting to witness fisherman returning from sea with fresh catch.
5 minutes away and a short trek takes you to the Betul lighthouse where you can enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of the coastline, rivers and surrounding hills.
