Perched on a lush green hillside, encircled by miles of heavenly blue sea and sandwiched between two gorgeous white sand beaches is COCOS Hotel, an all inclusive Antigua resort for couples and adults only.

This rustic yet romantic and cozy boutique resort is located on the sunset side of the beautiful Caribbean Island of Antigua and comprises of a collection of 35 quaint wooden Cottages positioned on a picturesque ocean bluff.

All Cottages boast large private balconies with hammocks, Adirondack chairs and breath taking ocean vistas. Avant-garde outdoor showers with a view, air conditioning and free WIFI are also included.

Some cottages even come with your own private cliff-side infinity pool. A quiet and intimate resort, COCOS is ideal for couples and honeymooners seeking a romantic getaway in a peaceful sanctuary away from the stresses of a hectic Metropolitan life.

LOCATION
Cocos Hotel is located in the scenic village of Valley Church on the western coast of Antigua. Antigua is a tropical island in the West Indies located to the Southwest of Puerto Rico. It is one of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean region with flying time from Miami, Florida being just about 3 hours.

The Resort is approximately 20 minutes from the capital city of St. John’s and 40 minutes from V C Bird International Airport. Cocos is positioned on the quieter, less commercialized section of the Island. In close proximity to the resort are Valley Church Beach and Jolly Beach, two of the top rated beaches on the Island.

On clear days the resort enjoys wonderful views of the volcanic Island of Montserrat and a myriad of small , deserted offshore Islands. Spectacular sunsets viewed from the beach, restaurant or from your private balcony are a daily treat.

Just next door is the Jolly Harbor complex, which boasts an 18-hole golf course, tennis facilities, a marina, shops, restaurants, bars and casinos.

SUNSET POOL COTTAGE
Sunset Pool Cottages enjoy the most spectacular hillside locations in the entire hotel. They boast all the location advantages of a sunset view cottage in addition to a private infinity plunge pool.

These cottages enjoy cliff-edge locations with unobstructed sea views and spectacular sunset views. Alternatively, some are located directly on the beach allowing you to step right off your patio onto the sand.

They feature air conditioning, private balcony with hammock and Adirondack chairs, unique outdoor showers with a view, king size four poster-style bed fitted with mosquito net, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, free WIFI and mini fridge that is restocked daily. Cottages do not include TV and are 110v 60 cycles with North American socket. This unit sleeps up to two adults.

DINING
The resort operates on a fully All-Inclusive Plan. The rate you pay includes EVERYTHING you eat or drink with the following exceptions which attract additional charges:

  • Romantic Beach Dinners which offer different menus from the All-Inclusive menus, a privately set up Cabana on the beach with a dedicated waiter.
  • Wines from our Vintage Wine just in case you wish to try something more stylish than what is available on the House Wine List.

Beyond the above, all food and beverage are included in your nightly rate.

At COCOS we serve fresh, organic, innovative cuisine prepared with a decidedly Caribbean twist. While you can expect a contemporary mix of international gastronomy, anticipate also that this would be fused with a strong Island influence.

Be prepared for a tasty introduction to the likes of Plantain, Christophine, Eddoe, Yams, Green Banana, Fresh Coconut, Soursop and a range of other exotic Caribbean staples. Because of our small size we are able to source garden-fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables from nearby farmers and freshly caught fish from independent local fishermen.

Of course, there are ingredients which are not produced in our very small Island and which we have no choice but to import. But as far as we can, we try to serve you meals made with fresh homegrown ingredients which help to maximize the flavor profiles, nutritional value and natural color of your every meal.

The Resort generally errs on the side of small, healthy portion sizes with each meal consisting of multiple courses (3 to 4 for lunch and 4 to 5 for dinner). While this may work for some, we do understand that it may not work for others.

We therefore encourage you to advise your waiter whether you require regular portion sizes or up-sized portions. We are more than happy to accommodate all types of eaters, whatever your preferences.

All our meals are served a la carte by waiters at the restaurant, beaches or beach bars. Say goodbye to DIY buffets. We think you’re much too special for that. Room service for any meal is also available.

Dinner is a three-course affair with menus rotating on a 7-day cycle. In addition to at least three appetizers, three main course options and three dessert choices, there is a vegetarian option for each course. Every Dinner menu also features a unique, nightly chef’s special for the main course.

Lunch is also a three-course meal with menus rotating on a 2-day cycle. There is also a Lunch Special for the main course which rotates on a 7-day cycle. Snacks: There is a fixed snacks menu available daily if you like munching between meals.

Private, Romantic Beach Dinners with menu items that differ from what’s offered on the regular All-Inclusive menus are also offered. These dinners attract an additional charge.

The Bars offer complimentary red, white, and rose house wines, two to three options for each. Additionally, a selection of vintage wines and champagnes is available at an additional charge. A wide range of international and Caribbean spirits and beers are also on offer along with daily cocktail specials.

COCOS has one Restaurant which is a multi-tiered, open-air facility set on the western section of the hillside, with amazing sea views during the day and picturesque sunsets in the early evening.

The Restaurant is large enough to accommodate all guests at the same time with the hotel 100% occupied. All meals are served at the restaurant. Snacks can however be served at either of the Beaches or Beach Bar Lounges.

If you book a Romantic Beach Dinner you and your partner dine in your private pergola on the beach while being served by a dedicated waiter. This service attracts an extra charge.

Tennis and golf are available at nearby Jolly Harbor, which also offers a number of casinos, restaurants and bars for those interested in sampling the local Nightlife.

A short taxi ride along the coast from Keyonna Beach, South Coast Horizons provides snorkeling and kayaking adventures, commencing through the protected mangroves out to Cades Reef, Antigua’s biggest coral reef.

Enjoy a walk through the unique and exotic palm tree garden; relax in the shade of 900 palms which include the Date Alexander, the Butterfly and Fan palms and see the collection of exotic birds kept in a purpose built aviary.

The reef provides a collection of numerous dive spots, each offering large amounts of soft coral, such as sea fans, as well as a colorful marine life. It is divided into two sections – the outer area where divers and snorkelers can swim around to their heart’s desire, and the protected inner reef where much of Antigua’s rich marine life begins.

The outer reef is where you can find a variety of large animals, such as barracuda, green and spotted moray eels, lobsters, eagle rays, and nurse and reef sharks. A part of Cades Reef has been turned into the Underwater Cades Reef Antigua Park, providing excellent shallow diving and snorkeling.

Here, anyone can experience the joys of world famous diving in Antigua, no matter what diving level you are, or whether you are seasoned as a diver, or just a beginner.

Situated in the Rain forest about 10 minutes drive from Keyonna Beach, the Antigua Rain forest Canopy Tour is a unique eco-tour through Antigua’s lush rain forest where you embark on an unforgettable journey through the verdant forest, high above the trees.

There are a series of zip lines, some in excess of 200 and 300-feet long, crisscrossing the gorge varying from 200 – 350 feet high. The tour also comprises short trails and suspension bridges, which are completed with a unique, absolutely safe, ‘Leap of Faith’, a controlled 36 -foot vertical descent to descend in a fun way!

STINGRAY CITY
The adventure starts out on land among the resident monkeys and parrots followed by a short speedboat ride to a shallow pool with a white sand bottom surrounded by beautiful coral reef. Enjoy a unique experience of touching and feeding a Stingray, together with snorkeling amongst magnificent coral reefs and colorful tropical fish.

CATAMARAN SAILING
