The word “Emaho” is a Tibetan exclamation describing joy, wonder and realization where “Sekawa” corresponds to the area creating Emaho Sekawa.
The purpose of Emaho Sekawa Retreat was to create a sanctuary where couples or individuals can escape the outside world and reconnect with themselves and each other, while being surrounded by pure pristine nature.

Villa Emaho
The open plan layout of villa Emaho features a large master bedroom and en suite with separate kitchen, lounge and quarter bath. This setting is perfect for couples seeking solitude as you’ll have everything you need at your fingers tips.
The villa also includes a spacious veranda, outdoor shower, day bed bure, as well as an infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Villa Emaho exudes romance and luxury and is the perfect setting for your romantic getaway or for individuals seeking a relaxing space to rejuvenate.
Villa Totoka

The Peak Villa
The Peak is Emaho Sekawa’s largest villa featuring a master bedroom and large guestroom, both with king beds and en suite. The Peak villa includes an office, living room, fully, dining area and equipped kitchen.
The extensive veranda is one of the key highlights of this luxurious villa, with a large infinity pool, outdoor shower, outside lounge area and secondary dining space overlooking the entire Sekawa bay and mountain range.

Emaho Sekawa All Inclusive Package includes daily rotating breakfast, and 3 course lunch and dinners. This allows guests to broaden their overall culinary experience of our five-star Fiji menu.

Enjoy dining at our Bula Pavilion restaurant which offers extensive panoramic views while maintaining an intimate and romantic setting. Our Bula Pavilion restaurant is not open to the public and solely available to Emaho Sekawa guests which ensures absolute privacy and exclusivity to our waitstaff.

We invite you to enjoy a refreshing drink at Emaho Sekawa’s private bar. We offer a range of cocktails, as well as a selection of local and imported beers, liqueurs and wine. Guests are also welcome to enjoy bar services from the comfort of their own villa or poolside.

Emaho Sekawa offers numerous land and water based activities as well as cultural events to give you a memorable touch of adventure to your trip.

Boat Excursions
Accompanied by our resident skipper and snorkelling expert guests can enjoy access to the Emaho Sekawa’s boat for excursions around Sekawa and neighbouring Islands.
Emaho Sekawa also has exclusive access to white Sand Atoll- a remote sand beach where our guests can enjoy snorkelling, sunbathing and a even a gourmet picnic on your very own private paradise.
Kayaking & Paddleboarding
Kayaks and paddleboards are available upon request for daytime exploring around the Savusavu Bay Coastline.
Kayaking tours also are available to those who wish to explore the outer ocean reefs and mangrove waterways of the Nasekawa River. Accompanied by one of our inhouse guides, discover Sekawa’s hidden jungle treasures.
Cultural Experience
Village excursions can be organized upon request. For a truly genuine Fijian experience see the locals perform the Meke, a traditional war dance. The Meke performance can be enjoyed in the Village or at the resort.
Private beach access
The Sekawa Beach is a short walk from the resort where you can go kayaking, swimming and enjoy a romantic sunset walk on the iconic Savusavu black sands beach.
Beach towels and supplies are available to all guests. Emaho Sekawa guests also have full access to the onsite golf cart to travel around the beach estate at no additional cost.
Hiking & Waterfall Tours
Explore the surrounding land by booking one of our hiking tours. One of our guides will chaperon you through the lush rain forest and mighty waterfalls revealing the unseen Fijian countryside.
Savusavu
Only 25 minutes drive from Emaho Sekawa Retreat lies Savusavu town. Savusavu is a small one-street town huddled between grassy hills and lucent ocean.
Sitting inside Savusavu Bay, Savusavu is Fiji’s most popular anchorage for visiting yachts. With several restaurants, shops and a local market, the town makes for a pleasant sightseeing visit.
J.Hunter Pearl Farm
While in Savusavu, you can visit the J.Hunter Fiji Pearls Show Room located just at the end of town. Besides exploring the showroom, you can also go on a Pearl Farm Tour where you will get a better understanding of how these magnificent pearls are grown and farmed. You will be taken on a boat tour to visit the farm, and snorkel to see the pearls up close.
Kokomana Chocolate Farm
For the chocolate lovers, KokoMana farm tour is a must-do. Expert guides lead guests through the forest to showcase the steps involved in producing sustainably grown cocoa beans and how they create their unique tasting chocolate. The tour ends with chocolate tasting and an opportunity to buy KokoMana products.
Scuba Diving
Known as the ‘The Soft Coal Capital’ of the world, Fiji is a diver’s paradise due to it’s rich marine biodiversity, pristine waters and colourful reefs. Diving lessons and excursions can be be arranged with a local dive master at an additional cost.
Fruit & Veg Markets
Savusavu town hosts a wide selection of local markets from the thriving Saturday market where you can pick up the most delicious locally grown produce at an incredible bargain, to the bustling fish stalls where local fisherman sell their catch of the day.
Sports Fishing
Sports fishing is a popular tourist activity in Savusavu due to it’s warm tropical waters and rich ocean ecosystem. Enjoy a guided fishing trip in the local environs or we can (at an additional cost) arrange for Deep Sea fishing expeditions to hunt the “Big Game”. Catch your own fresh fish and our chef will cook your catch for you the way you like it.
