The Golfo dei Poeti Relais & Spa is where the three elements that are the essence of our vision of hospitality come together. The three-storey building looks out over the sea and was designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape.

Protected by vegetation, it adapts itself perfectly to the slope over Punta Corvo beach, beautifully following the cliff’s lines and nature with a hanging garden on the second level.

From the large windows of the indoor restaurant and the bright terrace, you will be able to admire the enchantment (“incanto”) that the sea and the Gulf of La Spezia offer. Our Chefs get their inspiration from our sea and always cook with fresh products, they constantly look for new flavors while keeping the ligurian traditions.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast is a “must” for us, we believe there is nothing better than waking up in the morning and being enveloped in perfumes that evoke family memories. The rich buffet will gently delight your palate and the live cooking will surprise you. Every day from 8 to 10.30 am.

LIGHT LUNCH
A delicious menu will accompany you from lunchtime until evening with light and fresh courses, ready to be eat on the veranda, by the pool and wherever you want also using our APP “Golfo dei Poeti Official”.

The sensory showers, sauna and steam baths with aromatherapy, the Kneipp tub: let yourself be pampered with the free use of these spa features. Then you can also let yourself truly relax with various types of massages, rejuvenate yourself in the Nuvola tub, with hay or mud treatments, discover the benefits of hydro-therapy or simply relax in the sunning area.

THE NUVOLA TUB
Close your eyes. Your mind clears, your now weightless body relaxes, it stretches out and begins to float. Your soft “flight” in the Nuvola, the “dry” floating tub at the spa of the Relais, has just begun.

The gentle maternal embrace of Nuvola not only completely relaxes your muscles and gives you a sublime felling of wellness, it also favours the dilation of your skin’s capillaries and thus makes a wide range of medical and beauty treatments that more efficient.

The body, wrapped in a watertight membrane, remains completely dry and receives a uniform amount of heat from the surrounding water, which would be impossible during a normal session on a treatment bed.

The warmth given by the wrap remains constant, as does contact between the skin and the product, via what is known as stereo-compression, that is, the pressure exerted by the water surrounding your body.

STEAM BATH AND AROMA STEAM BATH
The invigorating and relaxing effects of a steam bath, and the benefits they offer the respiratory system and blood pressure, are further enhanced by unique and enveloping sensorial experiences.

KNEIPP TREATMENT
Stimulating your blood flow, your nerves and skin to provide a wonderful feeling of general wellbeing to the entire body, all of this going to and from the adjacent hot and cold tubs of the two Kneipp treatment pools at the spa of the Relais.

BIOSAUNA
The Biosauna at the Relais offers an ideal microclimate in which to slowly warm the body and thus benefit your cardio-circulatory system. The high humidity together with the effects of the scent of medicinal herbs in the Biosauna also helps to purify your respiratory system, your skin and hair.

THE SUN SHOWER
Anyone seeking a perfect tan in both summer and winter can take advantage of the Ikebana Sun booth, the innovative sun shower at our wellness centre.

THE “CARACALLA” TUB
Water massage has never been as wonderful as the one in the fabulous Caracalla tub, this too available at the wellness centre of the Relais. Thanks to its preset programmes, the Caracalla tub will pamper you with its localised massages of water jets and air bubbles

SURROUNDINGS
Punta Corvo is definitely one of the places where the wild beauty and the strong colors leave the visitor speechless. You can reach it from Montemarcello following the path n. 436, in the street near by the info point.

During the short path, you can see the islands of the Gulf of La Spezia: Tino, Tinetto and Palmaria and the promontory of the gulf. When you arrive on the top, 260 meters above sea level. You can admire the coast lies down on the beach, called Punta Corvo, before reaching the sea.

The name derives from the presence of a thick layer of white limestone saccharoid clearly visible from the sea, used for its beauty since Roman times.

Characterized by a dark gray sand, produced by the disintegration of the surrounding rocks, the beach is about 200 meters long and is surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation; access is free, unpolluted sea and deep.

The beach of Punta Corvo is the largest among those that has been formed in the creeks of the coast that goes toward Tellaro, certainly is the most beautiful as it was included in the list of 11 most beautiful beaches in Italy. It received an award by Legambiente during the summer of 2003.
