ACCOMMODATION
The Guest’s comfort has been the main focus of Hotel De’ Ricci’s founders: the smallest Suite measures 24 sqm, while the largest is a spacious 67 sqm. All of the Suites are very luminous and characterized by a decor that features original vintage furniture.

On the walls of each Suite are frescoes of iconic scenes in Rome and perspectives of Roman life, painted by Andrea Ferolla, creator of works and illustrations in prestigious homes and venues worldwide. The spacious bathrooms define elegance, with a mix of black tiles and retro style sinks.

SUITE WITH BALCONY
These Suites exude a sense of rétro and a timeless welcoming. In addition to the balcony, there are warm colours and vintage furniture which evoke past moments, bearing witness to the style of an epoch.

Elegant parquet contrasts with the polished, refined jet-black tiles in the bathroom, with a rétro style which bestow upon these Suites a charm of the unique period, between the 1940’s and 1960’s.

The typical Roman courtyard over which the balcony faces, exalts the already iconic atmosphere. In each of these two Suites, there is a small wine cellar stocked with a selection of excellent Italian and international wine, which render our Guests’ stay exclusive.

SUITE
The refined and welcoming ambiance, originality of the furnishings, a mix of vintage and retro styles, and the iconic scenes of Roman life expressed on wall frescoes, characterize these 4 Suites. Each replicates the elegance and charm of Rome of other epochs, with exquisite vintage decor and unforgettable appeal.

JUNIOR SUITE
With styles of different epochs, from the 1940’s to the 1960’s, the 2 Junior Suites offer an intimate and welcoming ambiance. The vintage furniture, composed of original Italian and international pieces, and sophisticated fresco paintings, contribute in recreating suggestions of life in Rome during those years.

Elegant parquet, refined black tiles in the bathroom with sinks in retro style, and a living room area with vintage armchairs and small tables complete the decor of these splendid Suites.

In each one, a small wine cellar with excellent Italian and international wines render the Guests’ stay at Hotel De’ Ricci exclusive. Both Suites overlook the quiet Via della Barchetta, amidst the charm of the Regola Rione, one of the most authentic neighbourhoods in Rome.

DELUXE SUITE
The charm of retro Rome is magnificently expressed in the 2 Deluxe Suites, where original vintage furniture and spacious external spaces permit Guests to feel welcomed in a home of a different epoch.

WINE EXPERIENCE
Our General Manager, professional Sommelier Flavio Scannavino, as well as other Sommeliers on our Staff, can guide our Guests through a unique course in the world of wine. The customized itinerary begins at the moment of booking: Guests inform the staff as to their oenological preferences, so as to stock the in-Suite Wine Cellar accordingly.

In the absence of such indications, our Sommeliers will stock 8 different wine choices in the in-Suite Wine Cellar, beginning with the excellent whites of the Piedmont and Trentino regions, to the fine, full reds of Tuscany and international vineyards.

During our Guests’ stay, it is possible at any moment, to organize private Wine Tastings, either in the intimacy of their Suite or terrace, or at the Hotel’s exclusive Charade Bar. Guests can choose wine for such occasions from their in-Suite cellar or the Coravin list.

For an even more particular experience, they can visit the Hotel’s Wine Cellar, accompanied by our Sommeliers, and choose one or more particularly exclusive bottles to satisfy their requests.

MEETINGS & TASTINGS
Special experiences at Hotel De’ Ricci are the meetings and Wine Tastings with the most important producers on the winery scene worldwide, programmed periodically during the year. These are relaxed and convivial occasions through which it is possible to know, a part from the wine itself, the history and anecdotes that are hidden behind every individual bottle.

Further, Hotel De’ Ricci gives the opportunity of booking exceptional one, three, or six-day tours, in cellars and vineyards customarily not opened to visitors, in the most important wine-producing territories in Italy and France, such as Langhe and Bolgheri, or Champagne.

The desire and intention of these tours are to give our Guests the possibility to get to know the owners of the vineyards and their families, in order to better understand how wine is influenced by the lives and sentiments of their producers.

Under the guidance of producers of the most exclusive vineyards, Guests can enjoy tasting different kinds of wine and even the rarest vintages together, discovering with every sip, those secrets which render their particular wine so special.

CHARADE BAR
Next to the lobby of Hotel De’ Ricci, hidden behind a rich, blue velvet curtain, is the entrance of the Charade Bar. Few know of its existence: only the Hotel’s clients, and a selected circle of people have access to it.

Opening the corpulent door, we are welcomed by artistic wall frescoes depicting scenes of the 1940’s nostalgic and romantic period of Rome’s “dolce vita.” All of the works have been painted by hand by the internationally noted illustrator, Andrea Ferolla.

The atmosphere is warm, yet sophisticated during the time of aperitifs, to then have the lights become even softer during the course of the evening, providing the ideal ambiance for intense moments of relax and socializing.

The music is dynamic and personalised, as is the Bar’s service, according to the event on hand, as chosen by the clients. Whether hosting an aperitif or “dopo cena,” the Charade Bar exquisitely accommodates exclusive experiences.

A PERFECT COCKTAIL
In place of a traditional, long counter, there is a mobile bar set-up that can be wheeled directly to the clients. In this way, our Barmen can create the perfect cocktail right before the discerning eyes of the guest, and for the most exigent palates.

Those clients who are timid or indecisive can browse the Menu, which, page after page presents the Cocktail and Wine Lists. International and innovative, it offers a selection of the most exclusive bottles and/or glasses of wine and Champagne, as well as Gin, Cognac and Whiskey from around the world.

In addition, the Charade Bar features a Menu of culinary delights that range from the classic Club Sandwich to the De’ Ricci Gourmet Cheese Burger, assorted cheeses and delicatessen platters, any of which can be ideally paired with the drinks offered on the Cocktail and Wine Lists.

THE CIGAR ROOM
Within a special venue such as the Charade Bar, there is, of course, a place dedicated to smokers and lovers of quality cigars. Hotel De’ Ricci’s private collection of cigars includes the most iconic in the world.

Without disturbing those non-smokers, the Cigar Room permits the pleasure of smoking in a comfortable and refined environment, located on the far end of the Bar. It is furnished with important and original pieces of furniture, emblematic of the 1960’s, such as comfortable armchairs and Chesterfield sofas.

The Charade Bar is theatre to exclusive events: breakfast meetings, wine-tastings together with producers, private wine-tastings, working lunches, aperitifs, business reunions, and get-togethers with live jazz music, to name a few. Should clients wish to organize a particular event, it is possible to organize a customised service.

LUNCH & DINNER
Amidst the retro atmosphere of the sitting room and iconic frescoes of the Suites, our Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner, choosing among the delectable dishes offered on our Menu.
