THE VISION

Parkview Green FangCaoDi is a landmark commercial building, located in Beijing and one of the most-watched countries in the world, China.

Its Green credentials address the prevailing needs of the city in conserving energy and battling air pollution for long-term sustainability. It is one of the first major mixed-use buildings being awarded LEED Platinum in China.

The project has won many international awards since its completion. Yet all the accolades and admirations heaped upon it did not come easily.

The project took over 10 years in the making, overcoming numerous engineering, statutory obstacles along with its gestation phase and overwhelming construction costs during implementation against Beijing’s grand Olympic projects.

It is a technologically complex building, yet without such technologies, the project would never have come to fruition. It is not an exact science but an imagination, but the belief that we can make a difference drives us to push boundaries convincingly step by step.

THE URBAN

Despite being designed in 2000, and completed in 2012, “Parkeview Green” certainly missed the peak of Chinese rapid urbanization, arguably the best years of commercial real estate, and yet shows itself as a testimony of withstanding the challenge of time.

In the last twelve years, the concept of “Urban Complex” has gone through four or five iterations, but no matter how formally disguised, the majority still unable to escape its destiny of short-term elimination – while lingered under the double-suppression between the economic downturn and the uprising online-retailers.

On the contrary, twelve years of “Slow Architecture”, does not only demonstrate persistence, but gradually becomes an aspiration to other commercial developments.

In the on-going pervasive and unsustainable urban development of China, it offers itself as an urban complex par-excellence to rethink the conventional practices.

As its name implies, this suite is fit for a President. Located on the 20th floor and only accessible by passing an impressive corridor of artworks, the Presidential Suite offers the perfect place for receiving and entertaining important guests.

The Suite on the 20th floor is 700 sqm of pure luxury – with a 300sqm outdoor area including a private dining room seating 30 people with direct access to a kitchen, a large lagoon pool, a reception room, and sky terrace with a dining table plus a luxuriously appointed private cinema and KTV room.

Miami Suite
A perfect example of Hotel éclat’s dedication to style, sophistication, and the best in luxury accommodation, the Miami suite exudes the opulence and flair of the urban nightlife hub. The 200sqm sky terrace features a 10-meter private jet pool and a dining table that seats up to 18 people. Champs-Élysées
This spacious 224 sqm two-bedroom suite is complete with its own maid’s quarters and a 124 sqm terrace offers a private family-style space or simply a great space for entertaining. Terrace with a dining area for up to 12 people and both indoor and ‘outdoor’ lounge areas with sofa seating.

Xin Ming Yuen
The first Cantonese restaurant Ming Yuen, came into being as Hong Kong Parkview was declared officially open to the public in 1989, the second Ming Yuen restaurant was opened at DingShan Garden Hotel, Nanjing in 2000, then the third one in Beijing renewed the name to Xin Ming Yuen in 2008.

The restaurant has a relaxed and comfortable environment and is ideal for parties, personal and business occasions. Chef Owner Umberto Bombana selects products from all around the world, delivering outstanding Italian delicacies to the Beijing culinary scene.
