The sumptuous palace of the Monastery of Cherasco, built in the early 1700s and from the 1800 headquarters of the order of the Somascan Fathers, after a careful restoration work that lasted more than six years has been returned to its former glory.
From a magnificent residence of times gone by was born a luxury hotel, the hotel Somaschi, with unique features of its kind. These are reflected in its standard category of rooms Deluxe, its large common areas with original stucco, its majestic 7 meters high frescoed halls, the stairway for parades, the Theatre hall with its original 18th century stage setting of the activity of the “Ristorante il Teatro”, the impressive cloister of 6000 square meters, the beautifully landscaped garden of 3000 square meters with swimming pool.

ROOMS & SUITES
The Somaschi Hotel has 27 rooms of different categories: deluxe rooms have black marble bathrooms and luxurious furniture; Junior Suites are designed following the style of Italian fashion gurus; Stucchi Suite has a canopy bed and original stucco ceiling from XVII century; the Family Suite with two separete bedrooms is perfect for adults and children; calssic rooms are essencially furnished but elegant.
IL TEATRO RESTAURANT
The cuisine at the Monastery of Cherasco is called “Ristorante Il Teatro”. An a la carte restaurant where our staff lead by the young chef Fabio Sala, meets the tradition of the Italian and Piedmontese cuisine with a focus on loca products.
The hall is inside of a XVIII century theater, that gives the name to the restaurant. Our suggestive, welcoming restaurant offers a service mindful of details, done by a young and dynamic staff.
We invite you to follow kitchen courses done by our chef. Our charming location is perfect for every event: weddings, family lunches, birthday and degree parties, romantic and business dinner.
Just for who is sleeping in our hotel, you will have the chance to have breakfast in a theater, where a large buffet is set up in front of the stage with all specialities: sweet, salted, gluten and dairy free.
WEDDINGS & EVENTS
The Monastery of Cherasco, according to the policy, hosts only one wedding per day, offering the Exclusive use of all the hotel: cloister of the building (or garden with swimming pool), monumental staircase, all the first floor including the hall, the event room and the theater room.

A conference at the Monastery of Cherasco, also becomes unique in its kind; conference rooms capacity up to 350 people theater style and 200 banquet set up, equipped with all the latest technology.
THE SWIMMING POOL
