At the heart of a 6-hectare property, 19 independently accessed rooms and suites encircle the Clubhouse which is home to the reception, restaurant, lounge bar and two swimming pools set on panoramic terraces overlooking the sea.

Everything in Li Finistreddi epitomises luxury and simplicity. White and natural tones dominate, contrasting with the blue of the pools and the bright skies of northern Sardinia. In the evening, when the sunset outlines the silhouettes of the rocks, the darker shape of Corsica appears in the distance.

Below, the sea takes on the colours of the sky and the horizon disappears, leaving guests to concentrate on the aperitifs and dishes served at tables where the fragrances of the surrounding vegetation blend with the aromas of great Mediterranean cuisine from the Osteria Gourmet restaurant.

ROOMS & SUITES
Perched high on the Li Finistreddi hill, raised up behind the Clubhouse, each of our rooms are named after local flora. Each has its own independent external access, a private veranda with sea views and all manner of amenities, including Frette bed linens.

The decor embodies sobriety and refinement: local materials and styles are liberally employed, including terracotta, Orosei stone, cane ceilings and chestnut beams, while the duo of white and ecru chosen for the tapestries perfectly complements the sea views and blue skies.

EXCLUSIVE SUITE
The Leccio Suite is a haven of absolute privacy with views over the sea and the park surrounding the hotel, and a direct vista of the setting sun. Equipped with a private heated pool, a solarium and a large veranda, it welcomes guests in a plush, comfortable and chic environment.

The living room, illuminated by white floors in Orosei stone, highlights details borrowed from the local style, such as the ceilings with exposed beams, while the pastel colours create a pleasing continuity with the surrounding nature.

The bathroom, opposite the walk-in wardrobe, offers a double shower, Frette bathrobes and exclusive amenities. Generous sliding doors connect the interior to a veranda with a roof in chestnut and terracotta flooring. Upon request, we can server guests a private dinner on the lawn, under the deep blue skies of Sardinia.

POOL SUITES
The Mirto and Rosa Pool Suites offer guests the comforts of a villa. The suites have two independent entrances, a small private garden with heated pool, a solarium and a covered veranda, with reserved parking adjacent. Guests can dine outside under the shade of the veranda, or on the lawn with the coastline, the sea and the islands stretching out before them.

The white floors in Orosei stone diffuse light throughout the living room, the sleeping area with new king size floating divan beds, and the spacious bathrooms with a double shower and Frette bathrobes.

The furnishings and finishes are minimalist, and modern amenities like Bose sound docks are discreetly concealed in both suites. Fabrics and furnishings are sourced from the best local artisans, and reflect the colours of the landscape. The scents of Mediterranean essences and the sea air infuse the rooms through the large windows.

RESTAURANT
The Osteria Gourmet has built its reputation on selecting small local producers and creating internationally-inspired Mediterranean cuisine with a Sardinian character and hints of the Orient. These come together in dishes such as seaweed, vegetable and shellfish broth, or fregola pasta with rockfish, samphire and lemon.

The identity of Sardinian wine and cuisine is strengthened in these combinations, and is enhanced by a cellar of prestigious labels and some little-known indigenous varieties that communicate the culture, soil and climate of the island.

The magnificent glass-fronted veranda overlooking the sea finds a natural extension in the external terrace that is home to the hotel’s illuminated pool, where bon vivants from all over the coast come to dine. The small organic vegetable garden behind the kitchen is open to visitors and seasonal local vegetables are complemented with freshly-picked aromatic plants, a particular favourite with vegetarian patrons.

BAR
The bar, also frequented by outside guests, serves the two large panoramic terraces of the hotel which feature illuminated pools. These large spaces are home to private corners, providing different ways of enjoying life at Li Finistreddi. During the day, the bar offers service at your lounger with fresh fruit smoothies, vegetable juices straight from the garden, and all kinds of drinks, accompanied by a refined snack menu.

The most magical moment, which brings guests from all over the coast to visit Li Finistreddi, is the aperitif – accompanied by a choice of tastings prepared by the chef. In addition to international cocktails, our bartender has some original creations in store, incorporating Sardinian aromatics such as myrtle and juniper.

With its large outdoor spaces and evocative areas by the pool, Li Finistreddi lends itself to the most diverse setups. Our staff has extensive experience in supporting events and parties of all kinds: the kitchen offers dedicated menus and the attentive floor staff coordinate the service. A proven network of partners provides everything from transfers to entertainment, and from audio and video equipment to special installations

SPA
At Li Finistreddi, wellness treatments take on an essential quality: while during the rest of the year they serve to mitigate, curb and contain stress and fatigue, during a holiday they can finally soak into the deepest layers of the spirit, leaving more lasting and therefore more precious effects.

With this in mind the spa, also open to external clients, offers a specially designed wellness path – for private use – which includes a salt water whirlpool, a wet area with a Turkish bath and sensory showers, and two treatment rooms for both individuals and couples. The spa is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 3.00pm to 7.30pm.

THE BEACH
A shuttle bus connects Li Finistreddi with an area reserved for guests on the Barca Bruciata beach, one of the most famous in northern Sardinia, just four minutes from the resort.

The area is served by the “Boutique del mar” beach club, which has a restaurant and bar and provides service to your lounger and free WiFi. Each station has a king size lounger with an extra-large parasol equipped with plugs for recharging portable devices. The beach service is free of charge for guests who book an Exclusive Suite, Pool Suite or Deluxe Suite with Sea View directly on our website.

SPORTS & EXCURSIONS
There is no shortage of things to do at Li Finistreddi. Guests of the resort can keep fit with various sporting activities, or work out on the fitness trail that runs through our six hectares of private park.

The resort’s location is ideal for exploring some of the most beautiful sites in the Mediterranean, from the Costa Smeralda to the archipelago of La Maddalena, which can be explored by land, sea or by flight – departing from our helipad.

The hills of the Gallura region, with their fresh and wooded landscapes, are just a few minutes away and offer wonderful itineraries to discover the area’s ancient history, traditions and unique food and wine culture.

SPORT
Li Finistreddi offers a fitness corner equipped with Technogym machines. In the park around the hotel there is a 600-metre wellness track with two areas featuring special outdoor machines.

An illuminated pitch in synthetic grass is suitable for a range of different activities, from tennis to soccer. A personal trainer is available on request to develop a programme based on the schedule, fitness and needs of each individual guest.

Sports lovers have endless options in the area, including rounds at the Pevero Golf Club, one of the most famous courses in the world. Li Finistreddi provides easy access to water sports sites, from diving to kitesurfing and windsurfing to sailing.

Trekking, horse riding, canoeing and mountain biking are also available in collaboration with partners well practiced in taking care of our guests. An electric mountain bike rental service is available at the hotel.

EXCURSIONS
Take a helicopter ride from our private helipad to Corsica, to explore the interior of the island, or simply to fly over the Costa Smeralda and the islands of the archipelago, enjoying a unique point of view and an original way to get to know the island better.

Boats of all types, sailing and motor, are available upon request for trips to the islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. On the faster craft, a short trip will take you to the French islands of Lavezzi, Cavallo and Corsica or, to the south, the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara.

A specialist company in the area organises outings to the famous Canyon of Caprera offshore oasis, where different types of dolphins and cetaceans live and transit, including the fin whale. The concierge is available to organise a host of excursions: from a visit to the nearby Capo d’Orso, to explorations of northern Gallura, and adventure days in central Sardinia with specialist guides.

LOCATION
Li Finistreddi is located on a hill in the seaside resort of Cannigione, with a wonderful view of the archipelago of La Maddalena. The small town of Arzachena is located in the immediate vicinity and offers a historical centre and several archaeological monuments reflecting the ancient and modern history of an island that, thanks to its considerable distance from the mainland, has preserved a precious cultural heritage.

The Costa Smeralda, with its nightspots and trendy shopping is less than half an hour away, and just a little further along is the chic village of San Pantaleo. A few minutes’ drive north, Porto Rafael welcomes visitors with its small square, the Monte Altura fort and the lighthouse of Punta Sardegna.

Not far away is Palau, the departure point for ferries to La Maddalena and Caprera which, with its military forts and beautiful scenery, is the largest island of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park.
