Hotel Lisca Bianca Panarea

The Hotel Lisca Bianca with its central position in front of the touristic harbour has breathtaking views of the sea and the other little islands that are located in front of Panarea. The hotel is divided in small buildings surrounded by wonderful gardens with local flowers and plants.

Each sea view room has its own terrace with astonishing views of the sea and guests can lounge in the bar on the main terrace of the hotel from sunset till late night. Free WiFi is offered on the main terrace and lobby of the hotel.

Concierge can provide boat trips around the islands to visit its small bays and to continue onto Stromboli island to be able to see the famous “sciara di fuoco” (an active volcano that lights up the sky with fireworks sparks of blazing orange lava).

In July and August the main open air terrace of the hotel hosts a small dance club with music up until 2am. Part of the hotel are the two boutiques Paguro and Buganville that are located on the main road of the island.

JUNIOR SUITE
Junior Suites have stunning views of the sea and the islands in front. All Junior Suites have either an outside patio or a sea view terrace and are individually decorated to create a unique experience for the guests of the hotel.

CASA PRETE
The house is located in the most antique part of the island called “Iditella”, which is a residential area and in walking distance from the touristic harbour. It’s split in two apartments with wonderful views of the sea and Stromboli island.

The first apartment, situated on the ground floor has 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (one of these is carved out from the natural rock of the building), a living room with fully equipped kitchen and a small terrace with a view.

The second apartment is situated on the first floor and has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large panoramic terrace. Both apartments reflect the style and spirit of the island with hand painted tiles, stone walls kitchens, wrought iron and wooden furniture.

They have independent air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV and safe. The hotel provides full assistance in case of need, daily cleaning of the apartment and free transfer of luggage from and to the harbour/heliport.

BANACALII
Banacalii is the lounge bar of the hotel famous for his fresh mojitos or Spritz served in front of a breathtaking view of the sea at sunset. From the first week end of July up until the end of August Banacalii remains open until 2am and offers unique dance nights under the stars. This is where the cool crowd of the island gets together.

SUSHI TERRACE
Situated on the roof terrace of the hotel with stunning views of the sea and of the sunset is the Banacalii Sushi restaurant. It offers unique dishes coming from a combination of the Japanese traditional sushi and sashimi combined with the Mediterranean cuisine.

BUGANVILLE
Buganville is very close to the hotel and located on the main road of the island. It’s one of the most prestigious boutique of the island and sells famous designer brands such as Missoni, Ermanno Scervino, Fisico (bathing suits and apparel) that are translated in to the island vibe. Here you can find the Borsalino hat which is one of the must have items of Panarea, Castaner espadrilles or the unique hand made Sicilian straw bags.

PAGURO
Paguro is famous for its always incredible windows that highlights the small street of San Pietro. The store offers a large variety of home or boat interior decoration items such as the typical Sicilian hand painted dishes or the famous “teste di moro” (typical Sicilian ceramic heads).

A little bit further down towards the harbour one can find the other Paguro store called Paguro Porto that offers mainly menswear like the colorful Vilebrequin swimming trunks or pure white linen shirts and many more accessories for the beach life.

PANAREA
The tiny island of Panarea, in the Mediterranean waters cupped by Sicily and Italy toe, is what remains of a long-dormant volcano, its towering cliff faces swirled with frantic eddies of rock stat.

Plumbago, Jasmine and Bougainvillea, pretty as a picture, tumble over the walls of its modest village houses, while its wilderness are dense with tough maquis vegetation: myrtle, macchia mediterranea, lentisk, hardy tamarisk trees and the capers that were once the islanders’ principal source of income.

Panarea, with its mesmeric views toward the island of Stromboli (an active volcano that lights up the night sky with firework sparks, and in its friskier moments spews blazing orange lava into the bubbling sea below), has lured human settlers since the Bronze Age.

The ancients named it Euonymus. Later it fell victim to marauding pirates, notably the Arabian Drauth, the one sandy beach on a coastline of rocks. Panarea, and its little islands, was discovered by a fresh wave of adventurers, this time free-spirited creative thinkers, marauding for beauty and inspiration.
