Hotel Luci di la Muntagna is located in one of the most fascinating corners of Porto Cervo, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. Its typically Mediterranean architectural character coexists in perfect harmony with the marvelous natural scenery that surrounds it, and enchants the visitor at the first glance.

One of the first hotels built in Costa Smeralda, it keeps intact the atmosphere and the spirit of the place in its rooms and terraces, suspended between white and blue, and in its rooms completely renovated in early 2014.

THE HISTORY
Porto Cervo is a fraction of the municipality of Arzachena, a tourist center of excellence of Gallura, in the province of Olbia-Tempio. For centuries, Arzachena and its buildings have been destinations for travelers.

However, it is only since the early 1900s that these places have assumed the characteristics of locations in which to spend the summer holidays. Hotel Luci di la Muntagna is one of the first hotels built in Porto Cervo. The structure was designed by architect Michele Busiri Vici and overlooks the port and the splendid sea of the Costa Smeralda.

In the early 60s, Busiri Vici formed together with Luigi Vietti and Jacque Couelle the Costa Smeralda Architecture Committee commissioned by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. The style of Busiri Vici, inspired by Mediterranean architecture, is characterized by the combination of constructive and stylistic elements typical of Morocco, Tunisia, Spain and Greece.

The dominance of white and blue, the terraced arches and rounded spiers identify the most significant constructions that Busiri Vici has signed in Costa Smeralda, such as the Stella Maris church and the Romazzino and Luci di la Muntagna hotels.

Over the years the Hotel Luci di la Muntagna has been extended and renovated several times, until the last renovation works, carried out in 2014.

THE SUITE
Elegant and romantic, the suite has two independent main rooms, one for the day and one for the night. The living room is perfect for private dining, and opens onto a veranda with an enchanting view of the Marina di Porto Cervo.

A lovely terrace embellishes the bedroom. Tea lovers will appreciate the small corner equipped with electric kettle, cups, teapot, various types of tea and herbal teas, brik and all the necessary for the Tea Time.
