A Handmade Hotel for a holiday custom made for you. Family owned and with a large and attentive staff, Palladio is a small hotel where we take great care of our guests. Situated in front of the beach stretching along the promenade of Giardini Naxos, the Hotel Palladio is a charme hotel with balconies and terraces overlooking the splendid bay and the cliffs of the mount in Taormina.

At the hotel Palladio furniture and cakes, tiles, pasta and much more are handmade using the ancient (or innovative) Sicilian techniques. Being a charme hotel in Sicily means for us also contributing to preserve and to make known, in our small ways, fragments of the age-old heritage of the culture of craft and of the traditional Sicilian cuisine. We believe this to be one of the possible ways to share with travelers the spirit of our wonderful land.

Hotel Palladio cooperates with the fair trade associations, among our suppliers are the association Libera Terra farming, according to the rules of organic farming. Companies slow food Sicilian principals. We promote many activities to protect the environment and landscape. We sponsor and we support many cultural activities.

SUITE & ROOM
The hotel offers Suites, Superior, Classic, Family and Economy rooms to suit the different requirements of our guests with regards to rates, space and comfort.

Also the rooms of the Hotel Palladio (only 19) preserve the atmosphere and intimacy of the old Sicilian home to which they belonged: they are different from each other, painted in the bright colours of the South, all of them have free of charge Internet Wi-fi connection, a balcony (except the romantic mansard with sky view roof window) and many of them have a sea view to enjoy the natural scenery of the bay of Naxos.

The rooms with sea view: superior for those who want more space and comfort and classic with all the comforts at a lower rate. Facing East, overlooking the waterfront all of them have a balcony with table and chairs and bathroom with either tub or shower. Many of them have additional beds for families

DINING
The women cuisine, between tradition and change, a simple and healthy homemade cuisine. Our lady cooks, each with our own recipes and those of our mothers and grandmothers, cook everything at home, old style, with the best raw materials produced artigianally in Sicily, preferably organic, exclusively fresh and seasonal.

We cook following and recreating (to make them more fresh and lighter) to the old recipes from the very rich culinary traditions of Sicily, crossed and made up of multiple influences (Greek, Arab, Swabian, Norman, Spanish and French).

BREAKFAST
It is a buffet served from 7.30 am to 10.00 am on the veranda overlooking the sea and Taormina. In the buffet you will find home-made cakes different every day, cheese and typical cold cuts, omelettes and quiches, fresh juices of red-oranges or grapefruit, a wide variety of organic jam and marmalade (bergamot, tangerine, oranges, red oranges, sour oranges, pink grapefruit, mulberries, blackberries, figs, prickly pears, quince etc..), honey from Etna, our fruit, besides yogurt, various kinds of bread, croissants, etc..

BUFFET & MORE DELIGHTS
Besides the buffet you will find true Sicilian breakfast: granita (mulberry, almond, lemon, strawberry, peach, coffee etc ..) with brioche and cream. At no extra charge we also prepare many hot dishes and special dishes for those with special dietary needs such as bread and pastries for celiac, vegans, diabetics, raw foodists and more. THE SWEETS OF THE SICILIAN TRADITION
We offer cakes and donuts breakfast (fruit, chocolate, orange, with Noto almonds or pistachios), pies (with cheese or with our organic jams), biscuits and pancakes different and made every day house.

A large variety of organic jams from small certified producers working citrus and fruit Etna: bergamot marmalade, mandarins, oranges, blood oranges, bitter oranges, grapefruit, lemons, and then mulberries, blackberries, figs, figs prickly, quince, strawberries, strawberries and oranges, apricots, peaches, cherries etc. some sweetened with honey, grape juice or cane sugar.

BIO PRODUCTS 
Even for breakfast, as for our restaurant, we buy almost all the ingredients directly from organic local farmers, others by slow food Sicilian principals as the many varieties of Sicilian black bee honey (honey asphodel, orange , late mandarin ciaculli, citrus, eucalyptus, dill, thistle, Astragalus nebrodensis and loquat) others, such as with orange blossom honey and jams made of lemons, are produced by biological association Libera Terra cooperatives.

Tea, barley, chocolate, muesli with exotic fruits, cane sugar, the chocolate cream, hazelnuts and cashews (much good the legendary Nutella) are organic products of fair trade.

THE RESTAURANT
Open from April to September: you can have lunch or have hot and cold dishes served no-stop from midday to 6pm, while dinner is served from 8pm till 9.30pm.

Each morning we present two new tasting menus and various dishes of the day and according to the requests of guests we go shopping: this is the way we chose to guarantee excellent products always fresh at reasonable prices, avoiding waste and recycle. Our lady cooks can prepare particular dishes on request or customized menus and they are always available to prepare special dishes for children.

THE DISHES
The old and healthy recipes of the varied Sicilian cuisine in the à la carte menù or in half board menù. The simple cooking of the fishermen, the endless variations of vegetarian dishes of the farmer cooking, the cooking of the convents with their skilful use of herbs and fine patisserie, the tasty road cooking with arancini and schiacciate and the sumptuous cooking art of the Sicilian aristocracy.

The menu for children. We take great care of the young ones: our lady cooks are always available, no-stop, to prepare baby food, snacks and meals on request according to the tastes of your children and taking into account any eventual allergy.

THE SUPPLIERS
The land around us, old varieties of vegetables and fruits cultivated land sull’impareggiabile Etna , like the peaches from Mojo, the string beans from Mascali, the pistachio from Bronte, the strawberries from Maletto, the tomatoes and melons from Pachino and the almonds from Noto, and then niche products prepared by local artisans with traditional techniques like the salami Sant’Angelo from Brolo, the sun-dried cherry tomatoes, the marmalade, the chocolate from Modica, the honey of the black bee, the provola cheese from Nebrodi, the ricotta cheese, fresh, salted or baked…

THE FISH
Our sea is home to a wide variety of fish, crustaceans and fine shellfishes: you can try always new flavours because every morning we buy only the best locally caught fish of the day and never farmed or imported fishes

PALLADIO WINES
a sample of the best Sicilian wines: from the Etna wine (where, thanks to the changes in climate it is possible to produce wines with unique characteristics) to the organic legal wine produced in the land of Corleone confiscated by the Government from the Mafia.

LIBERA TERRA ASSOCIATION
The association Libera Terra, whose cooperatives farm, following the rules of organic farming, the lands that the Government has confiscated from the Mafia: from them we buy wine, pasta, dried vegetables, conserves.

BAR & FRESH DRINKS
You can watch the changing colors of the sea trying our specialties: the frozen desserts and ices (pistachio, blackberry, almond of Noto, hazelnut and coffee, etc.), our centrifuges with fruits and vegetables from our garden , cappuccino almond milk and organic blood orange juice, prickly pear and grapes.

And try the wines of Sicily: we offer a review of the best Sicilian wines, the wines of Etna wines to organic products in the legality of the Corleone land confiscated from the mafia. All cocktail evenings with Sicilian appetizers and our cocktails made with fruit, tangerine juice, blood orange or almond milk.

THE BEACH
To go to the beach from the Hotel Palladio you only have to cross the road, the promenade just in front of the hotel, and the go down ten steps to the beach which here is sandy, medium-fine grain with few pebbles, with a soft shore where to walk and a very clear sea water. Beach towels are always provided free of charge from the hotel.

Our guests can choose whether to take advantage of the discount applied to them by the lido (located in front on the right), equipped with parasols and deck-chairs, renting canoes and boats or go to the free beach (located in front on the to the left) for which we provide parasol free of charge.

EXCURSIONS
We organize a great variety of escursions both individual or in groupswith professional guides, with bus, car or jeep, for all the main localities of Sicily: Etna, Alcantara Gorges, Siracusa, Agrigento, Palermo, Monreale, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Eolie Islands.

LOCATION
Overlooking the seafront, Hotel Palladio is situated in the centre of the bay of Naxos, between Cape Schisò, site of the first Greek colony in Sicily, and the Cape of Taormina. The Hotel is located in front of the sandy beaches of San Giovanni, in the historical centre between private lidos and public beaches, shops and restaurants.

GIARDINI NAXOS & TAORMINA
It only depends on your idea of holiday to choose from the many options that Giardini Naxos (on the sea) and Taormina (on the hill) offer. In Giardini Naxos and Taormina walks among museums and sights, Greek ruins and medieval buildings; relax on the sandy beaches of Giardini Naxos with crystal clear water and the sight of Etna; shopping in designer boutiques and in the artisan workshops along the Corso of Taormina or at the great flea market held on Saturday in Giardini Naxos; water sports, trekking, cycling or horse riding, adventurous scuba diving or quiet boat trips between caves and cliffs; nightlife in the pubs on the promenade of Naxos or at the Corso in Taormina, nature trails walks along the paths of the green hills or between churches and castles.

Horse riding in the woods of Etna or on the beach at the mouth of the river Alcantara. We book golf courses on the slopes of Etna (a scenic 18-hole course open throughout the year which you may reach in roughly twenty minutes by car).
