Hotel Gasthof Post is an exclusive 5-star hotel in the world-famous Lech on the no less famous Arlberg. In the hotel, which has been family-owned for 80 years and has belonged to the selected circle of renowned »Relais & Châteaux Hotels« for over 40 years, you can experience warm encounters, first-class cuisine and hours of pleasurisive relaxation.

The ambience of the “Post” has grown in a long family tradition. A strong, proud farmhouse with thick walls has become an exceptional luxury hotel and has remained an “inn” while retaining its original charm.

The parlors in familiar wood, the ornately painted furniture, exquisite antiques and hunting trophies, as well as the attention to detail convey an atmosphere of high closeness to the homeland, culture & warmth.

Our guests have 46 spacious rooms and suites at their disposal. Some are traditional and rustic, others innovative and modern. Of course, everyone is dignified and noble. Each room is individually furnished with great attention to detail, state-of-the-art technology is a matter of course.

SUITES
In the “Post” no two suites are the same. Each room has its own distinctive character. Local antiques and loving details lend all rooms an Alpine style. The pictures shown here as examples are an excerpt from the variety of possibilities and not binding for all suites in the respective category.

KAISER SUITE
On the upper floor of the new building you can reside on 114 m² and enjoy a sublime view of the absolutely magnificent landscape towards the Zuger valley.

The exclusive ambience of this suite with an open fireplace, a large bay window and two invisible balconies is decorated in the style of the house, but with modern accents & unusual material combinations that are responsible for the very special feel-good factor.

The bathroom with its free-standing bathtub, extra shower and steam bath also leaves nothing to be desired. Bidet and separate toilet are a matter of course.

FUERSTEN SUITE
Truly a princely holiday home: 60 to 80 m² with double bed and separate or spatially separated living room. Some of these suites have an open fireplace or tiled stove, and two have a private terrace. Here also in the bathrooms the tub, the toilet and the shower with steam bath are a matter of course.

HERZOG SUITE
Here is even more space for your holiday dreams: bedroom with double bed, separate living room,open fireplace or tiled stove, the bathrooms with tub, toilet and shower with private steam bath. All in all 55 m² pure cosiness for a relaxing holiday.

POSTMEISTER ROOM
With 50 m², separate living room or visually separable seating area in the style of the house, with tiled stove or an open fireplace. Also the bathrooms with tub and partly shower with steam bath make this a very spacious and also cozy holiday home.

HUNTERS LODGE
The “hunter’s rooms”, all with a bathroom with tub, are particularly popular. They stay on 35 m²,hunting motifs and noble rustic furniture create a very special atmosphere. These spacious living-bedrooms are partly equipped with tiled stoves or balconies.

DOUBLE ROOM
Relax in the comfortable seating area and enjoy your room from 26 m² to 34 m², or make yourself comfortable in the spacious double bed. Some rooms have a private balcony for sunbathing. All double rooms have a private bathroom with tub and toilet.

CHALET SAEGE
Opposite the main house is this cosy house. It offers two bedrooms, two living areas with tiled stoves, two bathrooms with steam bath and a small kitchen on a total of 130 m² and a terrace.

There are four additional beds on the so-called “Heidi roof”, accessible via a ladder staircase. A true paradise for children. The alpine décor and the homely atmosphere will make you experience unforgettable hours.

DINING 
The culinary enjoyment is very important in the Post. Our new Chef de Cuisine, Michael Rieser, skillfully combines tradition with modernity every day and spoils you at the highest level.

The demand is high, because Lech has the highest Gault Millau toque density per inhabitant and the entire kitchen brigade is looking forward to pampering the guests according to all the rules of the culinary art.

That is, with the best products that our homeland has to offer, with respect for tradition and at the same time with openness to cosmopolitan trends. Let yourself be brought to the taste!

THE PANORAMIC RESTAURANT POSTBLICK
In our new panoramic restaurant “Postblick”, which was completed for the 80th anniversary of the Moosbrugger family, our house and a la carte guests can be accommodated. In this modern yet traditional parlor, you will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the entire village in addition to the delicacies of our chef Michael Rieser.

THE JAEGERSTUBE
During the winter season, you can enjoy the creative cuisine of chef David Wagger in the traditional hunting lodge style. There is the opportunity to enjoy a specially created gourmet menu.

For a perfect coordination with the wines, our sommelier is at your disposal. In summer, the Jägerstube is reserved for private events. It is possible to enjoy our gourmet menu on reservation in our panorama restaurant.

THE EMOSTUBE
The Emostube, named after the artist Emo Henrich, offers a cosy atmosphere in a traditional Austrian style. Here you can enjoy our classic cuisine and relax. During the winter season it is possible to enjoy a cosy evening with a fondue chinoise on pre-order. During our summer season, the Emostube is reserved for private events.

THE KUTSCHERSTUBE
The Kutscherstube in the Hotel Post Lech is the “inn” of the house. Here we serve you delicacies from Austrian cuisine. House guests can enjoy their half-board in the casual setting of the “Kutscherstube”. Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

THE TERRACE
A fascinating panorama and warming sun rays: In fair weather we invite you to the terrace, where you can enjoy Austrian and international specialities as well as homemade cakes and strudels.

THE BEMELMANS BAR
Our bar is named after the American writer Ludwig Bemelmans, who was a loyal regular until the late 1950s. Our bar team will spoil you with fine spirits, large single malts, exquisite cocktails or selected wines and champagnes. The bar is a popular meeting place – from Aprés Ski until midnight.

FEINPOSTLADEN 
Under the motto “The Finest of the Good!”, you will find gifts, souvenirs and delicacies from our own production as well as from selected suppliers. We are happy to put together your own personal selection.

If necessary, we will ship these on your behalf. In the wine shop we offer an exquisite selection of red, white and sweet wines for every taste and occasion. We will be pleased to invite you to a tasting.

WATER WORLD
Swim with or against the current. In our 15 meter long, heated outdoor pool with unlimited views of the Omeshorn and the Ebra garden. Glide through the mountains like weightless. Or you can spend fun with your children in the kids pool with slide and baby pool on a private floor. Let yourself be driven.

SAUNA WORLD
Whether after sporting activities, before jumping into the pool or just like that: recharge your batteries and relax. Here in the »Post» it sweats in a noble ambience. SKIING ON THE ARLBERG
The world famous Arlberg, “the cradle of skiing”, with 88 lifts, 340 km of groomed slopes and 200 km of deep snow runs is right on the doorstep. A single ski pass is enough to discover the entire ski area. Lech Zürs is known worldwide as the deep snow Dorado and the Snowpark Lech is the perfect alternative in this freeride paradise.

On an area of 3.6 hectares, 17 Obstacles, divided into an Easy-, Medium- and Pro-Line offer plenty of fun and variety. For many winter sports enthusiasts, spring is the perfect time of year for skiing.

The days are getting longer, the temperatures are getting warmer and the minds are waking up. The firn beckons on sunny days to glide over the snow crystals and the magnificent sun terraces invite you to recharge your batteries.

After more than 52 years, the two-seater Zugerbergbahn says “goodbye” and gives way to a high-speed 10-passenger gondola lift of the latest generation. With up to 6 meters per second you are now in less than 5 minutes directly on the mountain and can enjoy the 360° panorama on the Balmalp.

Summer freshness in the “Post”: Lech has a very special charm in summer. With experienced mountain guides, go on big and small hikes, eat Kässpätzle on our mountain hut “Formarin” or have breakfast in the middle of blooming summer meadows.

With the “Ebra” park, which belongs to the house, a wonderful flowering paradise has been created with local flowers, shrubs and woods, walks between secluded lawns and, as a coronation, a small tea house, where guests gather in the afternoon swarms inthemiddle.

There are no limits to your sporting and cultural activities. Swing on one of our mountain bikes or the golf club on the nearby golf courses in Lech/Zug (9-hole, from 2016) and Braz (18-hole).

Every year we offer a variety of special arrangements to the summer guests of the “Post”. Visit with us e.g. the Bregenz Festival or the Lech Classic Music Festival. Use this versatile program for your individual leisure activities.

SUMMER HIKING 
Hiking is a discovery of nature, is a healing source of relaxation and tranquility, far from any hustle and bustle. The fantastic mountain world around Lech is a wide hiking paradise with over 350 km of marked trails. Autumn is the ideal season for very special mountain experiences.

Our hiking guide Elisabeth will accompany our guests on exciting hikes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday next summer. The shadows get longer and the summer heat gives way to a clear air with a magnificent view. Now is high season for hikes and tours. Enjoy the beginning coloring of the alpine flora towards Indian Summer.

On special themed hikes such as the »Green Ring” and the »Lechweg”, you can discover exotic orchids, find fossilized fossils, take a journey back in time, get to know the healing power of alpine herbs or trace the Lech back to its source.

The well-thought-out development with cable cars, chairlifts and the hiking bus leaves nothing to be desired. You can easily reach the starting points and come back home from many places without a car in the Post.

GOLF
Lech has a golf course! When golfing at the Arlberg, you play on the highest level. In 2016, the 9-hole course in the Zuger Valley opened up the possibility to play on the highest golf course in Austria in a breath-taking scenery.

The Post is one of the initiators and house guests receive green fee reductions. The practice green in Lech with the Golfschule Arlberg is available for taster courses and for golf course licenses.

FITNESS & SPORT
In the gym with a view into nature, you can train on the highest quality cardio and strength equipment of the company Technogym, constructed according to medical findings. On request, please also under expert guidance. Come in and workout.

If you prefer to let off steam outdoors: With ten newly designed running and Nordic walking trails in different levels of difficulty, Lech Zürs offers everything that makes the runner’s heart beat faster. A specially developed control system shows you the healthy way.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAM
Of course, there is a lot to offer for families with children in the house and in the village at any time of the year. If the children are doing well, the parents are also doing well.
