SEA VIEW ROOMS

Sea View rooms are available either with two separate beds or with a double bed and triple. It is also possible to choose the Sea View Superior room, located on the top floor, which also has a comfortable sofa.

Hotel Syrene’s swimming pool is available with free entrance for all of our guests every day from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Between 1.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m children cannot have access to the swimming pool.

The “Piazzetta”, or small square, is in the centre of Capri. PUNTA CARENA LIGHTHOUSE

ANACAPRI
Anacapri is the historical centre of the island, the ideal place to have a walk through the tranquillity of the silent piazzas and colourful streets, discovering the less glamorous but more authentic area of the island enhanced by the small artisanal shops.

VILLA JOVIS
Villa Jovis was the main residence of the Roman emperor Tiberius and was built in the first century A.D. With a surface of 7.000 square meters, the villa overlooks the promontory of Monte Tiberio, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view.

GARDENS OF AUGUSTUS & VIA KRUPP 
The Gardens of Augustus are located a few steps away from the Piazzetta, next to Via Krupp, a wonderful panoramic street. The landscape you can admire there goes from the bay of Marina Piccola to the Faraglioni.

CHARTERHOUSE OF ST JAMES 
Situated a few minutes’ walk from the Piazzetta, the Charterhouse of St James is one of the most important historical buildings on the island. In summer it becomes the venue of great events, concerts and open air shows.

VILLA SAN MICHELE
Villa San Michele was the house of Axel Munthe. He wanted to build his house in one of the most panoramic spots of Anacapri. Villa San Michele is a museum open to visitors and in the summer it hosts the music festival “Concerti al Tramonto” (Concerts at sunset).

ARCO NATURALE – PIZZOLUNGO
The Arco Naturale is a rock that has acquired a curious arched shape thanks to atmospheric factors. From the square behind it you can enjoy the view of the Sorrentine Peninsula.

You can continue your walk down the stairs that will lead you to the panoramic path of Pizzolungo, until you arrive at the wonderful view from the Belvedere di Tragara.

MONTE SOLARO 
Mount Solaro, is the highest spot of the Island of Capri. You can reach it with the chairlift that will transport you to the wonderful panoramic terraces, from where you can enjoy a view that goes from the Faraglioni to the urban centre of Capri, from the Sorrentine Peninsula to the Gulf of Naples.

MIGLIERA
Via del Migliera is one of the best panoramic walks in Capri. The street goes through vineyards and cultivated fields and allows you to appreciate a hidden aspect of the island. The landscape at the end of the road on the Belvedere del Tuono, overlooking the Punta Carena Lighthouse, will amaze you.

FORTINI COASTAL WALK
The Fortini coastal walk is a spectacular path traversing sea landscapes, rocks and Mediterranean scrub and it takes from 3 to 5 hours walking. The path is full of red signs to be followed and of informative signs explaining the flora and fauna of the area.
