PURI LE MAYEUR VILLA
The Puri Le Mayeur Villa, a spacious stunning single story villa floating above a dreamy lotus pond, celebrates the eternal love between the famous Belgian artist. Adrien-Jean Le Mayur de Merpres and Ni Polok, his muse and later, his wife.

Luxuriate in this magnificent surreal villa that has a unique private plunge pool, and private romantic open-air dining pavilion, a beautiful semi-open-air intimate oversized hand-beaten copper tub, and a verandah to witness a spectacular sun setting.

WALTER SPIES PAVILLION VILLA
Entering the Walter Spies Pavillion, you will find yourself transported to the romantic art deco era of Java in the early 20th century, dedicated to the legendary German poet and artist Walter Spies, an influential German musician, and painter who made Indonesia his home.

The suite contains an enormous four-poster bed, a beautiful private plunge pool, and an outdoor dining Pavillion. It is surrounded by a tropical garden with a secret and most unique outdoor sunken bath.

REJANG SUITE
Located on the upper floors of this charming Javanese house, Rejang suite boasts an antique timber interior, rich deep colors, a unique carved four-poster elegant bed, and chic luxurious bathrooms hand-crafted by local artisans. The suites feature a dreamy intimate private spa area with a unique sunken bathtub and an antique daybed thoughtfully arranged next to the bath.

DEDARI SUITE
Nestled behind an antique wooden door, surrounded by the tropical luxurious garden, the Dedari Suites are remarkable for their timeless ambiance. Kick-off your shoes and fling yourselves down on the massive canopy bed, enveloped in romantic white flowing curtains.

The suite features a tropical plunge pool outside, a private spa area with a unique sunken bath in open-air bathroom, along with a dreamy traditional daybed. IWA RESTAURANT
To dine in IWA to invite diners to join ‘A Culinary Journey throughout the Indonesian Archipelago’. Featuring an extensive menu or authentic Indonesia cuisine made with passed down recipes done with a contemporary approach.

The name of the restaurant derived from the legend of Kebo Iwa, a Balinese history that was written in ancient, historical manuscripts from the 12th century.

Once upon a time during that century, a couple who wanted a child so badly prayed to the Balinese God Sang Hyang Widhi, and was given a son they then called Kebo Iwa, who was no ordinary child, since he was just a toddler, he loved good food and he ate an immense amount of food, much more than any other children, and he becomes a huge giant that no house was big enough to shelter him.

JI RESTAURANT BALI
The fusion of the ancient Japanese and Chinese cultures are reflected not only in the ornate animal carvings of the Chinese temple’s elegant dark wood facade but also in the restaurant’s branding an innovative take on Japanese calligraphy highlighting the fanciful flora, fauna and cultural elements of the region offers animated glimpses into the past while at the same time spearheading the future.

WAROENG TUGU
The concept of Waroeng Tugu is to recreate a ‘lifestyle experiences’ of the Javanese and Balinese people in the past, to show how they ate at the comfort of their own homes and at the “waroeng” a simple traditional hut used to eat lunch and diner.

Waroeng Tugu offers to peek into their way of daily living, the jovial and sometimes noisy household, the flavorful bites of its delicacies of hand-downs recipes and special condiments, the tradition in preparation, and especially, the history that runs deep in the community.

BALE PUPUTAN
Bale Puputan was built as a homepage to the Puputan War as a tribute to the Balinese Heroes who sacrificed their lives during the “Battle to the Last Man” against the Dutch colonialism, specifically the battles of Puputan of Bandung in 1906 and Klungkung in 1908.

Meticulously preserved in the Bale Puputan are the last antique treasures saved from the Puputan war. Among the large collection, is the largest whole marble table used by the Dutch general in Bali to host their royal guests and priceless black and white paintings of the royalties of past Balinese kingdoms, to name a few.

BALE SUTRA 1706
Bale Sutra is the only restaurant that is housed in an original ancient Kang Xi period temple from 1706. This 310-years-old Kang XI period temple was brought by Chinese immigrants to Bali a long time ago, was saved from near-demolition by the Tugu Hotels & Restaurants owner, and was transported and reconstructed in its entirety at Hotel Tugu Bali.

The venue is available for private dining arrangement, serving authentic Peranakan Chinese menu, Japanese, as well Indonesian cultural dining experiences.

Waroeng Djamoe Spa will connect you to the secrets of the ancient mystical East. For centuries the people of Java, the Peranakan, and the people of Bali have been adhering to their authentic indigenous health treatments that we now call “spa”.

ANCIENT DJAMOE TRADITION CLASS
Djamoe is a mixture of traditional herbs and spices, which are used for healing and rejuvenation. Traditional ‘Djamoe’ comes from the island of Java, and have evolved since hundred of years through generations. The Djamoes consist of leaves, roots, flowers, seeds, and barks of significant trees.

This class covers the traditional know-how of the making and preparation of Jamu Kunir Asam, a traditional natural elixir drink that is believed to help digestion and weight loss. Beras Kencur, made of Galangal (aromatic ginger), Cinnamon, and Rice is a popular JAMU drink and natural remedy for a variety of common ailments, including lack of energy and a cold or cough.

ROYAL TUGUDOM
The Royal TUGUDOM dining tells the story of the royal expeditions of King Hayam Wuruk of the Majapahit Kingdom through the vast country including Bali.

The Majapahit royal entourage travelled on foot, with buffalo-drawn carts, horses and elephants, from the eastern region of Java to Bali, stopping at temples, markets, villages, and ‘tugus’ (the symbolizing monuments of the God of Çiwa)

The TUGUDOM is theatrical dining brought back to life by the Tugu Hotels, illustrating the royal parades of the king and his entourage, decorated in exotic leaves and frangipanis, carrying a vast, lavish selection of imperial dishes of the Majapahit Palace as well as cuisine served by humble citizens of the coastal villages visited during these expeditions.

THE SACRED ARTS OF EAST BALI TOUR
This tour takes in the significant destinations of the sacred areas of the East Coast.
