THE HISTORY
The Villa Giulia Hotel belongs to the Bombardelli family and since 1955 they have combined a family atmosphere with quality service and somber elegance. A place such as the charming Villa Giulia Hotel is not just a combination of settings.

Sophisticated rooms in the reminiscent Tower setting. The Tower Rooms combine the style of a 4 Stars Hotel with the attraction of a rural setting: the Tower, prior to its refurbishment, was the former dwelling of the peasants who took care of the olive grove and the lemon trees.

Today it’s a sophisticated setting that hosts romantic and stylish rooms, with a view of the Hotel’s private garden.

THE LEMON GROVE
Elegance and style for magical moments on the lake’s Riviera. The Italian-style garden leads you towards the glow of the lemon trees where you are inebriated by the scent of the citrus fruits and towards the blueness of the lake where the small private beach of the Hotel is set.

GARGNANO
Gargnano is one of the few villages on the Lake that still maintains its original structure, where you can still breathe the air of times gone by when life was marked by the rhythm of nature.

Here you can spend moments of total relaxation being literally enchanted by the harmony of our lands. Gargnano is located in the centre of the “Parco dell’ Alto Garda” and it is the largest municipality in terms of territory (78.3 km2).

The capital and the main villages border on the lake, whilst Villavetro, Fornico and Zuino climb delicately up the modest hillside enclosed by olive trees.

At about an altitude of 500 meters, the hill offers other villages: Liano, Formaga, Navazzo, Sasso and Musaga. Further over you can see Muslone, a peak overlooking the Garda, whilst the Costa basin is immersed in foliage, 18 kilometers from the Capital.

The villages on the lake embrace buildings of relevant architectural characteristics, whilst the entire territory offers a historical picture through structures that have their foundations set in the centuries and the traditions of peasant expertise, evidenced by the operability of these ancient rural boroughs.

GARDA GOLF
The Garda Golf Country Club, designed by the English architects Cotton, Pennink, Steel & Partners, consists of 27 27 holes of the course extend over 110 acres located between the Rocca of Manerba, the Castle of Soiano and the hills of Valtenesi.

The three 9 hole courses, marked with red, white and yellow, are very attractive both from the technical point of view and landscape. Villa Giulia is an Official Partner of the Garda Golf Country Club.

ARZAGA GOLF
Upon the hills of Lake Garda, deep into a park of 144 hectares, there are the courses of Arzaga Golf Club.

27 holes realized by two of the most famous signatures of golf: Jack Nicklaus II designed the first 18 holes PAR 72 and Gary Player the following 9 holes PAR 36, characterized by fairways and buckers which remind the famous Scottish “Links”.

BOGLIACO GOLF
The golf course with a lake view open year round. The Bogliaco Golf Club is the third-oldest golf course in Italy; it is located in Toscolano Maderno near the western hills of Garda Lake.

The golf course has 18 holes par 70 with panoramic views overlooking the lake. Guests can enjoy an elegant club house with restaurant, terrace and garden. Bogliaco Golf Academy offers an interesting calendar of daily clinic as well as longer sessions.

IL VITTORIALE
The Vittoriale degli Italiani – a complex of buildings, streets, squares, gardens, flows and anoutdoor theater – was erected between 1921 and 1938 by the poet Gabriele d’Annunzio and is oneof the most visited museums in Italy.

His house, called Prioria, has remained exactly as the poet furnished it. Thousands of furnishings, works of art and relics, which remind us of Gabriele d’Annunzio’s heroic life, are still preserved in the various rooms of the ‘Vittorialei’.

GARDEN A.HELLER
Mr. Arthur Hruska, a well known medician and naturalist, created between 1910 and 1971 this botanical paradise with its little streams, artificial lakes covered with water-lilies and callas, liven up with plenty of fish – all sunken into a Dolomit landscape en miniature.

In 1988 the multimedia artist André Heller purchases the garden and its villa to build up a center of ecological conscience. Hidden in the garden you’ll find sculptures and pieces of contemporary artists like Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, Mimmo Paladino.

PARK SIGURTA’
Destination for millions of enthusiasts, the Sigurtà Garden Park is a natural treasure on land that rises close to Lake Garda. In this corner of paradise centuries’ old woods and lawns provide waves of flowers one after the other as the seasons unfold.

Dating from 1400, in the year 2018 the Garden celebrates forty years its gates have been open to the public, and it continues to be an ideal place for day out of fun and relaxation in close contact with nature.

ARENA DI VERONA
The ‘Arena di Verona’ is considered the largest open air opera theater in the world: the Roman amphitheater built in the 1st century A.D. has a seating capacity of 13.500 persons and hosts over 500,000 spectators each season.

The Mart is one of the most important and renowned museums of modern and contemporary art in Italy. It offers thematic exhibitions, temporary exhibitions and artistic itineraries, which change periodically.
