Ancient 19th century Baglio in one of the most beautiful islands of Sicily, Favignana. The conservative restoration carried out and strongly desired, shows a structure full of charm and peace that we find in the courtyard and in the Arab garden.
Ten rooms among deluxe, superior, junior and suites, are each the result of travel and objects that tell the atmosphere of a Sicily full of magic and perfumes. Some rooms are gathered in the quiet of their gardens, while others range with the sea view of Favignana.
It all began with the family home, later called “Casa Favonio” passing from “Cas’almare” for today look at a past of a Sicily that we try to find in this ancient 19th century Baglio “Il Baglio sull’acqua”.
SUITE
Very particular room consisting of a ground floor with a built-in sofa that can also be used as a third bed, separate shower and bathroom, basement with open wardrobe.
An internal staircase leads to the mezzanine where there is a double bed and an external staircase leads to a beautiful panoramic terrace with both sea and mountain views, furnished with an outdoor warm water tub (no jacuzzi) and a sofa. No umbrella due to wind. It has a safe, hot-cold air conditioning, hairdryer, minibar, TV. The pool towel is provided every day
JUNIOR SUITE
Very large suite (about 35 square meters) located on the first floor, offers on one side a nice view overlooking the countryside and on the other a glance into the Baglio garden and the sea side (ca 400 meters distance).
Comfortable sitting area with the highlight of a beautiful internal bathtub. The sleeping area is divided from the bathroom and the exposed shower by a decorative wall. AZIZA “the precious” welcomes our guests in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, looking at the architecture and furnishings of the peoples of the Mediterranean. At lunch we prepare fresh salads, stuffed focaccias and, to order, Sushi also to take away for you. At sunset, rich aperitifs await you in our enchanting Arabian courtyard.
In the evening on our romantic candlelit terrace or in the pleasant olive grove you can choose whether to try the specialties of local cuisine, the result of tradition and creativity, or to taste the highly appreciated Sushi in our Maguro Sushi Bar. Dedicated menus for celiacs and vegetarians are available.
BOATS
The sea of the Egadi is enchanting and must be experienced with a slow navigation taking advantage of a still uncontaminated nature. Every day we give our customers the opportunity to “go out to sea” on the most beautiful boats on the island both for exclusive use and by participating in shared excursions, looking for protected coves to swim and explore the seabed. Crossing dolphins or turtles is not uncommon and the emotions experienced will be unforgettable.
