Kyoto’s versatile charms are brought out by the changing seasons. Kanamean Nishitomiya has appreciated each season since 1873 with a philosophy based on the teachings of Onko – Chishin (studying the past to create the future).

YOKOBUE

We serve local fresh vegetables, fish, and meat in teppan and grilled styles. Please enjoy the authentic cuisine served at the counter seats.
THE BREAKFAST
Hannari style with mild tasted Kyoto’s Obanzai for morning. Our guests may choose between a Japanese style breakfast – rice served alongside savory side dishes, or a continental style breakfast with bread, cereal, eggs, etc.
WINE & SAKE
Enjoying Kaiseki and selected wines (about 1,000 bottle of selected wine or others at our wine-cellar). We also offer a rich selection of Japanese sake and wines. Our sommelier will select wines and sakes to best pair with the menu and the guest’s preferences.
MEETINGS & EVENTS
Our renovated banquet rooms, inspired by Kyoto’s teahouse architectural style, can host various kinds of events, such as parties, conferences, or meetings. The meal and drinks can be tailored to our guests’ requests.
