Correspondances, a contemporary and tastefully decorated boutique originally from Saint Rémy de Provence has thrown open its doors in Gordes for the season. Inside is an exclusive selection of renowned ready-to-wear brands for men and women, as well as shoes and accessories.

The Maison de Constance
A haven of peace on upper reaches of Gordes, the Maison de Constance offers guests every pleasure possible in the utmost privacy. This private villa has a beautiful garden, shaded by olive groves and laurel trees.

It also has a magnificent view of the valley, which can be enjoyed from the private swimming pool or the house. Living spaces are distributed on each floor. Some rooms have a secret access to the village and, depending on the season, a dedicated butler will ensure your every need is met.

Whether it is for a family or a group of friends, the Maison de Constance can accommodate up to 10 people in five bedrooms. Each comes with an en-suite bathroom. The decor is authentic and refined and offers a new surprise around every corner.

The Duc de Soubise Suite
The Duc de Soubise Suite offers the perfect mix between history and modernity. Bathed in Provencal light, it is a place to enjoy unforgettable moments. The suite is made up of two separate bedrooms and a vast sunlit salon. Its large terrace offers a breath-taking view of Gordes and its surrounding valleys and hills.

Quality materials including the raw wooden beams and the shaded fabric bring light to the suite and make the antique furniture come to life.

As authentic a composition as any tribute to the 18th century could be. The two bathrooms are decorated in the same light colours as the sitting room. They each have carefully chosen amenities.

The Baron de Simiane Suite
The Baron de Simiane Suite takes its name from one of the most famous families in Provence. To pay tribute to them, the suite is filled with extraordinary furniture and artwork, and boasts a magnificent view of the Luberon.

Admire the view directly from the suite’s winter garden where there are comfortable vintage armchairs and sofas to relax on. Under these ancient stone vaults stands a large fireplace marking the entrance to the living room.

All the finishes are original and the furniture dates back to the 18th century, while the architecture has been restored to its dazzling heyday.

The vast bathroom opens onto the rest of the suite, which lets in the gentle Provencal light. It has a claw-foot bathtub and a large separate shower. A spacious dressing room completes the Suite.

With a view that is half dazzling green hills and half blue skies, L’Orangerie has a wonderful location and offers a range of gastronomic delights.

Brunch
Every Sunday, l’Orangery prepares a gourmet brunch filled with colour and sweet and savoury delights. Each bite creates an eyes-closed moment of bliss. La Bastide’s pastry chef fills the buffet with a confection of delicate cakes and sweet treats, accompanied by tea, coffee and champagne.

For all things savoury, the chef at La Bastide creates an array grilled meats and fish, as well as a selection of seafood and an assortment of charcuterie. All ingredients are fresh and local. Brunch in the Luberon is made even more delightful by the sublime view of the cypresses and the sweeping valleys.

La Citadelle
A historic restaurant in the town of La Bastide, La Citadelle guarantees exceptional moments under the moonlight. And a dinner that is as glittering as the stars above your head.

Set in a grand vaulted hall, La Citadel is designed in the evoke the splendour of southern France, an area known for its sumptuous materials and refined craftsmanship.

Dine with the Luberon itself and watch the landscape change colour as the sun sets. La Citadelle offers a selection of Mediterranean dishes made by the chef of La Bastide.

The Sisley spa
Set across 1,600 m2, the spa team at La Bastide has teamed up with the Maison Sisley, a prestigious French brand that is renowned around the globe.

The ambiance of the Spa is designed to recreate the atmosphere of the extraordinary abbey churches of the region, such as the Sénanque Abbey. It is a haven of peace where world-class care is delivered.

Under its large vaulted walkways, the spa is decorated with the finest materials ­– think Burgundy stones and walnut doors. The spa is home to a large indoor swimming pool as well as a hammam, a sauna and sensory showers.
