L’ALYA’S VISION
When it all started years ago there were three over-riding needs that L’Alya Ninh Van Bay wanted to fulfill when the concept and ideas started flowing.
The first need was that everyone wants to have space, not only in the room, but the entire resort. Open air styling coupled with respectful embracing of the natural surrounding and environment was a key component.
The second need is that the resort needed to have experts. Destination, culture, and people specialists help develop a real role in the community, and adding to the value that everyone wants.
Finally, but most important, was that L’Alya Ninh Van Bay needed to focus on Vietnamese hospitality and lifestyle on par with the most demanding international service quality standards.

ARCHITECTURE
L’Alya Ninh Van Bay is unlike most any other place you have visited before. Huge and expansive spaces, coconut thatched roofs with high vaulted ceilings that allow the heat to escape as fresh air is constantly pulled into the areas.
Living spaces ranging from 90 to 230 square meters, and private veranda, terrace, and swimming pools, all set to the natural wood and rock construction.
This is present throughout the property, but especially noticeable in the flooring which is made from thick black stone from central Vietnam and helps to keep the fresh feel and appearance in every area.
And although they were not originally intended to be a part, the local wildlife has also become quite a standard and added to the overall essence of what L’Alya’s Ninh Van Bay vision is all about.

FUN FACT
- The giant boulders scattered all around the property are unique and natural elements of the surroundings.
- There is a plethora of tropical wildlife all around you. From friendly Blue Headed lizards and gibbons swinging from the trees, to tiger fish and lobster in the seas!
- The bathtubs are actually giant pieces of granite carved on the property, made from the same boulders you see all around.
- The Lobster farms and assortment of all types of fresh seafood markets make for great expeditions and tours alone or with our chef for a more personal intimate dining option.
- The sand on the beaches is actually made partly from the granite that you see all around you.
- The resort uses it’s own water supply which is fed from the surrounding aquifers in the hills, and then filtered and fed through the entire property.
- The resort is secluded and nearly impossible to reach for transients. Our private boats are the best way to get and go to the resort.
ACCOMMODATION
Elegance mixed with natural simplicity, the openness of both contemporary and traditional architecture in the wide beauty create the unique “semi-closed’ style of L’Alya Villas. A purely decent Vietnamese space is featured simply by leaf roofs, bamboos, wooden beams and granite floors.
The outer looks simple, however the interior is extremely elegant, comfortable, modern and luxurious. All villas are separately located but surrounded by nature and enjoy large living space, outdoor swimming pools, bathrooms and private sunbathing yards.
Particularly, every villa is 24/24 taken care of by a decent and whole-hearted butler who will be available any time you need. Our property and rooms don’t use many typical locks, rest assured though that our security and seclusion helps resolve the need for such things.
GRAND LAGOON POOL VILLAS
Grand Lagoon Pool Villas are identical semi attached villas with a central living area between them. Each villa has a large bedroom with an entertainment system, oversize bathroom, outdoor bathtub, garden shower, and a double day bed overlooking the lagoon.
The central area, which contains a sunken dining table and bar, flows down to a lounge setting including deck and the villa pool with lagoon and sea views. Sun lounges and an outdoor dining area are situated in the garden on the edge of the lagoon.
Each Grand Lagoon Pool Villa can be configured as 2 king beds, or one king and 2 singles for families with children over 12 years of age.
Beach Front Pool Villas
Beach Front Pool Villas are all with direct beach access from the villa deck and plunge pool. Each villa has a spacious lounge room with a large daybed, en-suite bathroom, lounge area and bar.
For family groups (with children over 11 years of age) or friends travelling together, the day bed can be converted into a king sized or twin bed configuration, and recessed doors close to create a second bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The master bedroom, located between the lounge and main bathroom, has glass doors opening onto the deck and pool, and offers great sea views right from bed if you choose not to close your curtains.
The villa contains an oversized bathroom with twin basins, shower, toilet, double cupboards, and opens both onto the sea facing deck, and onto the garden where the rock bathtub and outdoor rain shower are located.
LAGOON POOL VILLAS
Lagoon Pool Villas are single story with uninterrupted views of the lagoon, beach and sea. These villas have two layouts, however they are very similar in feel and internal villa space. There is no difference in rate for the villas…..
Upon entering the living room, you are presented with an impressive bar with wine fridge, mini bar, espresso machine and tea sets. The lounge area opens up onto the lagoon deck and pool, complete with sun lounges, dining table and an outdoor sitting area.
The over-sized bathroom has both an indoor and outdoor setting. The main bathroom contains twin basins, toilet, shower and a swing chair for a unique way of relaxing and a double wardrobe.
The outdoor bathroom has a bathtub set in a garden and a rainwater head shower. The air-conditioned bedroom overlooks the pool and lagoon, and is equipped with an entertainment system to provide guests with hours of music and movies.
HILL ROCK POOL VILLAS
Hill Rock Pool Villas set over 3 levels. The lower floor contains a large bathroom with shower, separate bathtub, toilet, twin basins and wardrobes. The middle level is an open-air deck lounge space, with bar, sofas, dining space and plunge pool.
The air conditioned upper level is the bedroom with full or filtered ocean views, mosquito net, entertainment system, television, en-suite toilet and balcony overlooking the forest.
