Lanthia Resort is a boutique hotel located between the green Ogliastra woods and the blue sea of Santa Maria Navarrese. A Mediterranean oasis overlooking the waves, offering a multitude of spaces, all different from each other, thanks to the variety of furnishings and styles, but all united by deep-rooted Sardinian tradition.

28 rooms, a restaurant, a lounge bar, a beach bar & grill, a swimming pool and a relaxation area in the pine forest overlooking the sea. The use of materials from the Island, such as the exposed granite of the façades, is combined with the contemporary style of the personalised ceramics, the finely embroidered linens and the oak floors.

Each space gets its name from a Sardinian village and follows a specific theme. The same atmosphere and attention to detail is also evident in the restaurant, where the chef delights guests with dishes rich in local fragrances and flavours.

LOCATION
The Lanthia Resort is located in Santa Maria Navarrese, a small town of Ogliastra along the oriental coast of Sardinia. Ogliastra is a place still uncontaminated, where nature is still strong and flourishing: it stands out dominating all that surrounds it. Located between the mountains and the deep blue sea, Lanthia Resort blends in with its majestic surroundings, it is unique like the land and its scenery.

Thanks to its geographical location for a long time Ogliastra has not been a touristic destination and has maintained its natural state and traditions, the culture as well as the typical and unique renowned cuisine. Archaic and timeless places. THE LANTHIA RESTAURANT
Our Chef Tommaso pays homage to the Sardinian tradition, using his skills to combine the ancient typical local recipes with the right amount of creativity. The precious local raw materials are the starting point for each dish and their exquisiteness is enhanced in the best possible way.

Every morning, the best local suppliers bring their fresh produce to the kitchen: the lamb, the game and the beef come from the Gennargentu mountain range, the fish comes from our seas, aromatic herbs come from the hotel garden and the vegetables come from our vegetable garden. There is never a lack of our favourite ingredients on our menu, such as quail, oysters, mullet, red prawns and Arbatax scampi.

Among the most popular dishes on the new menu, there are our Seared Scallops with ginger and pink pepper, our Vegetable Composition, Ogliastra Culurgiones pasta with fresh tomato and Fiore Sardo cheese mousse, Sardinian fregula pasta cooked like a risotto with raw red prawns, Carloforte bluefin tuna with braised endive, anchovy sauce and wasabi mayonnaise. According to tradition, each dinner ends with a platter of typical sweets and homemade liqueurs.

BEACH BAR & GRILL
Where the sun makes its way through the shade of the pine trees, the sea breeze blesses the gestures and the infinite emerald shades amaze the eyes, the Beach Bar & Grill offers the ideal refreshment for the days spent on the beach.

Guests are welcomed into an intimate and sophisticated space, which reflects the character and aesthetics of Lanthia, from the teak furnishings designed by the architect Luca Mereu and created by Sardinian craftsmen in perpetual dialogue with nature and local traditions.

The catch of the day and the meat of local farmers are cooked with skill and simplicity, such as fish with soy and ginger, celery bottarga salad and buffalo mozzarella, the leg of lamb with glazed vegetables, the cream of smoked aubergines. Also available to guests is a list of signature cocktails and special wines, such as the “home” productions of Vermentino and Cannnonau, grown and produced in the hinterland hills.

EVENTS
The Lanthia Resort is the ideal setting for unforgettable parties and banquets. Thanks to the extraordinary variety of outdoor spaces, the hotel is ideal for hosting ceremonies on the beach, evocative cocktails by the pool, romantic dinners in the garden, and also concerts on the red rocks and parties in the private pine forest.

The resort puts a team of professionals at your disposal for the organisation of any event, big or small: weddings, birthdays, christenings, holy communions, confirmations, graduations and also for yoga retreats and business trips.

The chef is encouraged to study ad hoc menus, based on the best seasonal ingredients. Children can be entertained with outdoor games and magic. Wedding planners are supported in the best possible way through every stage of preparation.

The wedding suite is also available to the newlyweds, featuring a queen size bed, a living area, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and walk-in shower, a private balcony, sparkling wine, flowers and seasonal fruit. Friends, relatives and witnesses can be accommodated in the rooms at the hotel. The Lanthia Resort can also be rented exclusively, thereby making it a real private residence.

SPA & WELLNESS
A cabana in a pine forest overlooking the sea, with the lapping of the waves and the song of the cicadas. Our spa is a little Mediterranean paradise, designed to care for body and mind.

The wellness menu includes massages carried out using Comfort Zone specialised products and a selection of beauty treatments. The relaxing experience continues in the pine forest, where guests can rest in comfortable deckchairs in the ” islands of relaxation” or doze in hammocks.

SEA
