THE SPA
Our wellness guru came to Nanuku stirred by the centuries-old healing traditions of Fiji. As a result, treatments incorporate ancient methods of massage passed down through generations and harness indigenous minerals, botanicals and essential oils to nourish and energize body, mind and soul.

Treatments take place in private suites with the door left discreetly open to the balmy tropical breeze. Or leave your cares down below in an open-air private platform suspended high up among the branches of a 70-year-old dilo tree. Enjoy the soothing sounds of waves lapping on the beach well below as you surrender to full-body rejuvenation.

Bring home the healing power of Nanuku. Our Pure Fiji bath and body products nourish sun-kissed skin and will transport your senses back to the South Pacific. The lively blends are created from a careful combination of wild-harvested, cold-pressed organic virgin coconut, dilo, sikeci and macadamia nut oils, and local leaves and herbs collected by hand and distilled fresh on site in small batches.

WEDDINGS IN THE FIJI
Our specialists are romantics at heart who delight in collaborating with each couple to create a wedding that reflects their vision and the details that matter most. Along with this highly personalized approach, Nanuku entices with a stunning sandy beach setting and an intimate scale that keeps the attention on you and your wedding party.

Exchanging vows on a private desert island as the sun dips below the horizon is just one way the story goes. At Nanuku, your wedding will be as unique as you are.

From welcome drinks to farewell brunch, our alchemy gives each wedding event special meaning in its own distinctive setting. You might treat your bridal party, for instance, to lunch on a treetop platform set high over the waves.

Thousands of square feet of outdoor and indoor space exude beachy elegance and relaxed sophistication, allowing you to host events without repetition. One constant? Those expansive views.

MEETINGS & EVENTS
“I knew sky diving would be a fun addition to our team’s retreat; I didn’t realize free-falling through the air together would yield a breakthrough in how we communicate.” This kind of executive feedback is gratifying yet comes as no surprise to us at Nanuku.

We understand how a change in perspective inspires big-picture thinking and bonding. And we see the added value in arranging custom activities like jet-skiing to a private island, exploring jungle-clad mountains by dune buggy, and deep-sea fishing in the South Pacific.

When it’s time for more formal brainstorms and presentations, our conference spaces provide the latest audio-visual capabilities along with a sense of relaxed luxury and harmony with nature.

RESORT BUYOUT
Buyouts let you transform an entire resort into your own private paradise. Your group enjoys privacy, total access to amenities and services. Greet the sun with a morning stand-up paddleboard excursion, kayak or canoe ride. Snorkel straight off our beach to our house reef, covered with vividly-hued soft coral and schools of tropical fish, from easily recognizable clownfish to brilliantly-striped angelfish.

Or set sail on a Hobie Cat in the afternoon, when the wind picks up. With an array of water sports equipment right at your fingertips, Fiji’s warm, crystal-clear waters are yours to be enjoyed.

FIJIAN ARTS & CRAFTS
Join our resort artisans for a fun activity for all ages: learn how to make mats and baskets by weaving together leaves of the pandanus tree, hats and bags from taa, a delicate material produced from the young, unripe leaves of palm trees, and a Tanoa drinking bowl, the traditional vessel for serving kava.

SLEEP UNDER THE STARS
Sail the crystal-clear turquoise waters along the fringing reefs of Beqa Lagoon to reach Nanuku Island, your own private island paradise of white sandy beach covered with swaying hundred year-old coconut trees.

Enjoy the afternoon exploring the sandy trails that meander through shaded rainforest canopy, or linger along the coast, where you’ll take in the rhythmic lapping of the gentle waves that surround you from all sides. Keep your eyes peeled and you might even spot a leatherback turtle returning to hatch and bury its eggs.

Enjoy a cocktail as the evening sky turns an incredible shade of pink before the sun dips below the horizon. A customized BBQ dinner follows, along with a roaring beach bonfire where you’ll gather around to hear of Fijian myths and legends passed through the generations. Safari tents will be set up for you on the beach or you can sleep under the stars.

DISCOVER KULUKULU DUNES
Situated at the mouth of the Sigatoka River, the Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is Fiji’s first national park, established to protect a unique natural and cultural heritage site. Hike up giant, soaring sand dunes, discover ancient Lapita artifacts, and look out for 22 bird species in the park’s pockets of native dry forests.

SAVOR THE SIGHTS OF SUVA
Take in a sight you’ll relish: the changing of the guards— Fijian soldiers clad in impressive, starched white sulus (sarongs) and vivid red tunics—at the Presidential Palace, also known as the Government House.

You’ll also explore the expansive municipal market, filled with stall after stall selling just-off-the-boat seafood and fish, and farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. At the Fiji Museum, located in Suva’s Thurston Gardens, local archaeological treasures date back 3,700 years.

GOLF
Stunnin coral reef and Pacific Ocean vistas await at Natadola Bay Golf Course. Home to the annual Fiji International, every other day, this championship level course welcomes players of all levels.

Designed by former World Champion and Fiji golfing legend Vijay Singh and world-renowned golf course architect Greg Letsche, dramatic landscapes abound, from rolling pastures to absolute beachfront.

LOVO DINNER
Learn how to weave coconut fronds around meats, fish and vegetables, and watch as they’re buried underground and covered with hot rocks to slow-cook.

A banquet feast of traditional delicacies including kokoda (Fijian ceviche with spiced coconut milk), lovo-roasted meats, whole stuffed smoked pumpkin and banana-leaf wrapped fish transpires hours later, in an unforgettable setting on the Kava Platform.

PLANT CORAL
Nanuku is focused sustainability and improving the surrounding environment and communities, while simultaneously enhancing the guest experience.

As part of our coral reef conservation project at Nanuku, you’ll learn the essential role coral reefs play in everything from water filtration to shoreline protection, and you’ll get a chance to plant corals on our house reef. You can even plant and tag your own coral garden to track its progress on return trips year after year.

TRADITIONAL WARRIOR WELCOME
On approach to Nanuku’s port cochere, a warrior will beat a lali (wooden drum) signaling your arrival. You will be met and welcomed by your itokani (buddy) dressed in full Fijian dress as a village chief.

As he offers you a bu (freshly picked young coconut) and places a tekiteki (flower) behind your ear, the rhythmic beatings of the lali will be joined by the sounds of a conch shell being blown by another warrior.

As your itokani guides you to the Club House, he will explain the significance of the costumes, and each traditional ritual, enriching your experience of legendary Fiji from the very beginning.
