A peninsula of cliffs that form coves where nature has acted capriciously, with an aura of romance provided by the most authentic tranquility and privacy. With a privileged location, the resort is within a short flighting distance of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires.

The green of the mountains seems to merge Emerald Coast sea clear water, north of Santa Catarina. Three small islands and a white sand bay make the scenery even more enchanting. One of the main characteristics of Ponta dos Ganchos is its exclusivity. In an area of 80 thousand m², only 25 bungalows are located, divided into six categories, from 80 m² to 310 m².

All of them are designed for up to two people and provide a stunning view of the Emerald Coast sea. Most of them feature heated swimming pools and dry sauna. In some categories, the bungalows even offer whirlpools, in addition to other facilities.

The resort also has a gastronomy recognized for being based on classic cuisine combined with contemporary techniques and the search for the valorization of Brazilian regional cuisine, led by Chef José Nero.

ESPECIAL ESMERALDA
The Especial Esmeralda is the most exclusive bungalow in the resort, providing the guests with a unique experience without ever having to leave the bungalow.

The bedroom and living room are completely integrated, separated from the outside area by a generous glass door, resulting in a perfect natural lighting, allowing guests to enjoy the breathtaking view without even getting out of bed or up from the cozy and welcoming sofa.

It also features a sauna facing the sea, a spa bathroom with tatamis for massages and a whirlpool bath, which also offers a view of the sea. Still inside the bungalow, on the lower floor, there is a private fitness center.

Esmeralda Bungalow, with approximately 230m², features a bedroom and a living room in a fully integrated area, separated from the outside area by a glass door. The lighting has been designed to bring guests into a unique contact with nature. ANHATOMIRIM

BREAKFAST
A tasting menu with no fixed serving time. Breakfast is available to guests all morning long in the Bateiras, with no need to worry about arriving at a set time.

A brand-new menu is served every day of the week, with fruit, yoghurt, hot dishes delicately cooked, gourmet sandwiches and handmade bread baked at the hotel, besides a range of desserts and natural juices. If guests are so inclined, continental breakfast can be served in the bungalow.

In the privacy of your bungalow, we offer the Private Celebration, which includes a 60-minute relaxing massage for the couple, followed by a bath with salts, accompanied by Moët Chandon and fruit.

TREATMENTS
An anti-aging treatment for those who desire deeper hydration and care for skin. As versatile as it is, it is recommended for all skin types, from those with mild aging signs to those with more mature skin.

The product used is Masque Crème à la Rose Noire, which is rich in anti-aging active ingredients coming from Black Rose extract, Padina pavonica algae and Physalis, which act on the fatigue signs and give the skin youth and vitality. The ritual also helps redefine the features lost from dryness, in addition to smoothing out and revitalizing the skin.

SCUBA DIVING
Diving takes place in the Arvoredo Marine Biology Reserve, known as the best place for diving in South Brazil. There, divers can see turtles, shoals of smaller fish and medium to large fish such as Grouper and Rays.

Before the dive, an instructor provides guests with basic theory lessons and practical training for a 40-minute dive to depths no greater than 12 meters, supervising guests throughout with exclusive attention to ensure that they get the best out of the emotion and wonders at the bottom of the sea.

SNORKELING
Aimed at offering recreation, relaxation and leisure, Snorkeling is a sort of sport diving that is perfect for shallow waters. Ponta dos Ganchos provides its guests with all gear they need, such as mask, flippers, and the snorkel itself. CANOE

STAND-UP PADDLE
The adventurous ones can explore the Coast with SUP (Stand Up Paddle), a complete and relaxing exercise that puts body and soul in motion. Admire the sea and exercise all along the beach, disconnecting yourself from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The equipment is available to guests, who can also hire an instructor to follow the practice during the stay, and the practice can be part of your training routine to keep you in shape.

HELICOPTER RIDE
Departing from the Resort private heliport, the helicopter ride is an experience that will remain in the memory forever! PRAIA DE FORA
A Paradise for fishing and surfing, the beach at Praia de Fora is a true hideaway in the middle of Ganchos Bay. With intact native vegetation, its access is relatively easy even for people who do not go trekking regularly.

It is accessed from Ganchos de Fora Beach, by following a small trail through the Atlantic Rain Forest. Praia de Fora has a 100-meter stretch of bright white sand, from where you can see Ilha Grande and Palmas Beach.

It’s known as the place from which to watch the most beautiful Sunrise in the region, and in June and July at dusk and at dawn you can see the local fishermen use traditional methods to haul in shoals of grey mullet, a regional and seasonal delicacy.

ILHEUS
After about an-hour walk you will get to Praia dos Ilhéus, which can only be reached by trails. A true paradise, where the scenery is lush native vegetation. This deserted beach is the ideal spot for surfing, and it is visited by surfers from all over Brazil, who are in search for extreme waves. TENNIS
For tennis lovers, the Resort has a clay court available all day, with the best view of the Emerald Coast. For beginners or guests who don’t have a tennis partner, a tennis coach can be hired to give lessons or just to play a match. The court must be booked in advance.

NONÔ’S ORGANIC GARDEN
Ponta dos Ganchos organic garden was first planted towards the end of 2008, aimed at not only meeting the hotel demand for ingredients, but also, and primarily, serving as the foundation for sustainable approach to gastronomy.

The garden enables the Resort to manage the great majority of its organic waste as part of an efficient cycle of reutilization and conscious consumption. The garden is seasonal, and it provides us with different products at different times of the year. Some examples are all types of lettuce, rocket, watercress, spinach, collard greens, edible sprouts, edible flowers (seasonal), lemon grass, and ginger.
