Nestled amidst one of the world’s most significant historical areas – Beijing’s Forbidden City and WangFuJing, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is uniquely poised as a new, modernist state-of-the-art masterpiece. The neighbourhood’s ancestral heritage has been cleverly enriched by a gem of modernity, paying respectful yet contemporary homage to one of the capital’s most important and distinct quarters.

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa offers an unparalleled experience that exudes intuitiveness, authenticity and an explorative journey that goes beyond the conventions of luxury. Our hostmanship is a leaner, purer and more focused interpretation of luxury hospitality; one that values empathy, humanity and connectivity as its core. Inclusive and bespoke guest experiences make generosity and intuitiveness the canvas, from which we create a platform for enriching and engaging conversations.

Hostmanship™
by Urban Resort Concepts

At Urban Resort Concepts (URC), our return to the origins of luxury comes not only through our simplicity of design, our attention to detail and our commitment to craftsmanship. We’ve also cultivated a revolutionary new service culture that’s quickly becoming second nature, a professional attitude and outlook we all share. We call it Hostmanship™.

We’ve long believed that running a luxury hotel is a craft, not merely a business. It’s why we’re making unprecedented changes to what it means to be a host in this industry.

Hostmanship is not an abstract notion but a combination of intuition, innovation and humanity. It’s an explorative and sensory journey that extends well beyond conventional luxury.

In the world of Hostmanship, our guests are welcomed into a culture where people come first and every experience is tailor-made.

At URC, we want your experience to be human, intuitive, inclusive, generous and engaging. This means having skillful, committed team members empowered to create an experience that’s uniquely yours. It’s putting an end to the petty charges and undue bureaucracy that don’t serve your needs.

For starters, these are some of the benefits and extras our guests are already enjoying when they stay with us, with little to no fine print:

24-hour check-in and check-out (subject to prior notice of arrival and departure details).
URC & LUXE City Guide app for qualifying rates.
Fully-stocked complimentary mini bar.
Best-in-class WiFi everywhere in the hotel.
Daily breakfast for two in our restaurants, lounges, your guest room or on-the-go.
No check-out required, unless you wish to do so.
Laundry and pressing.
Secretarial services.
Use of meeting room for up to 2 hours.
Local calls.
We’re also working hard to provide you with even more benefits, which will be rolled out across each of our properties soon.

I’m mindful that we will make the occasional error. But we’ll only make it once, and we’ll do everything it takes to make it right again.

PuXuan Suite (Forbidden City View)
Simply naming this suite “Presidential Suite” does not offer a true representation of the calibre of the hotel’s signature suite. The 150 m² PuXuan Suites are one of a kind.

The minute you enter the suite’s reception area, you appreciate that you are about to embark on one of Beijing’s most luxurious and unique suite experiences.

Built around the south-west corners of the hotel, the PuXuan Suite offers the hotel’s most prominent and unique views across the Forbidden City.

The large living and dining rooms, designed along the corners’ floor-to-ceiling windows provide the most regal of spaces for entertainment or pure indulgence in the views.

A study room, a designated tea preparation area complement the living area to make it a beautifully open and day-lit yet equally personal space.

The fully enclosed and luxuriously appointed master bedroom connects to a generous master bathroom, while guests have access to a washroom adjacent to the reception area.

Unsurpassed attention to detail in design, materiality, technology and craftsmanship, paired with the most generous of inclusions and benefits available to its guests make the PuXuan Suite the accommodation of choice when in Beijing.

Rive Gauche
(Michelin Plate Restaurant)

The Parisian host in Beijing
Rive Gauche is a slice of bohemian Paris right in the heart of Beijing, perfectly encapsulating French “bistronomy” cuisine, where Executive Chef Ivan Miguez interprets French classics with extraordinary savoir-faire.

Rive Gauche is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The space is cleverly designed to include a variety of dining, lounge, bar, private and outdoor spaces as well as a variety of food offerings and menus in a sophisticated yet vibrant atmosphere, that draws inspiration from the Parisian comptoir or “counter” culture.

Fu Chun Ju
(One Michelin Star)

An invitation from Canton
Venture on a Chinese culinary escapade, for which Chef Waikit Yeung has curated a menu that is authentically Cantonese while simultaneously supportive of the capital’s region.

While paying resolute homage to traditional Cantonese flavours, the chefs of Fu Chun Ju do not shy away from interpreting them in contemporary and exciting new ways. It is Chinese cuisine at its very finest.

Located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, Fu Chun Ju is designed as a contemporary tribute to the capital’s traditional Hutong home. The intelligently designed variety of non-intrusive open and private spaces with their clean and simple lines, feature Beijing’s famed hues with the aesthetics of amber glass, delicate timbers and stone.

Fu Chun Ju offers 4 private dining rooms that can accommodate up to 60 guests for any occasion.

The Lobby Lounge

The perfect vantage point, from dawn to dusk
Adjacent to the reception on Level 4 and designed as a seamless extension around the hotel’s green and daylit central courtyard, lies The Lobby Lounge, the heart and soul of The PuXuan Hotel and Spa.

A series of handsome and carefully curated spaces make it the perfect place in which to indulge or in which to create. Open all day for breakfast, refreshments, light lunches, afternoon tea or for a pre- and post-dinner drink, the lounge area exudes a distinctly domestic and intimate character, while the library is designed with productivity in mind. Meet, work or plan the next day’s excursion with the help of our experienced and insightful Concierge.

Tea Room

A cultural adventure, one sip at a time
