“Ponpon Nabe (Japanese stew)”is ever popular specialized cuisine in Fujiiso Ryokan for a long time. It is basically a kind of oil fondue especially and originally arranged by Fujiiso Ryokan.

HOT SPRING
Yamada Onsen is one of the best and secluded hot springs in Japan, which has been worked for more than 200 years after its opening in 1798 and located in which is surrounded by mountains of Joshinetsu Highlands. Its origin of hot water was detected by a famous military commander, Fukushima Masanori in Japanese Civil War Era.
Tasteful Onsen (hot spring) which can be realized in mountainous countryside in variety with open-air-bath offering you enjoying the superb view for granted, large communal bath releasing stressed your body and mind, communal bath keeping on pouring its wellspring, etc. Nature of spring is made of sodium (Na), calcium (Ca) and chloride spring.

Outdoor bath which became one with deep nature
In the seasons various valley beauties spread out in front of you. According to the season, the dividing door of the inner bath, the outdoor bath opens, you can enjoy the full-mouth watering.
In order to be able to use the covered night time zone, you can taste various sights such as deep green wet with rain, snow-covered mountain ranges, tranquility in the middle of the night, the sky in the akatsuki changing.

Promenade named “Fureai no michi”(Road to touch each other)
In “Fureai no michi” named by the late Masao Suzuki (sculptor) , you can feel breeze in through the canyon, scent from the mountains and trees. It takes only 7 to 8 minutes to the river surface of the canyon through the promenade from the building.
