Ryokan Hozantei is located at the uppermost stream of Kurokawa Onsen, and the surrounding area is full of nature. The headwaters of the Chikugo River flow in all rooms next to the rooms, and you can see yamame trout swimming in some rooms.

It is very quiet because it is a little far from the hot spring town. Pleasant babbling sounds and gentle birdsong. Please experience the extraordinary life to your heart’s content in the nature that changes with the seasons.

Ryokan Hozantei is located on the mountainside, so you can overlook the sunrise and at dusk, you can enjoy a wonderful sunset. In autumn, there is a unique atmosphere of the countryside.

You can comfortably hear the sounds of insects and the whistle of the autumn festival. It’s soothing to just relax and enjoy the original scenery.

Rooms
Each of the 11 unique rooms is a separate type with an open-air bath and an indoor bath. Please relax and relax in front of nature. Ryokan Hozantei is close to the headwaters of the Chikugo River, and we ask that you use eco-friendly shampoo in the open-air baths of each guest room for protection.

Large open-air bath
Hozantei is located in the uppermost stream of Kurokawa Onsen, “Tooku Kurokawa”. A relaxing time to heal your daily stress by spending time in a wild landscape.

Tengu-no-Yu, where the mountain stream flows right next to it, was named “Tengu-no-Yu” because there used to be a large rock that resembled the face of a tengu, and the water came out from under the rock.

Hiradai Observatory
A popular hot spring resort visited by 1 million tourists annually. You can visit 3 open-air baths with a 1200 yen hot spring bill, so you can enjoy various hot springs even on a day trip. In addition to inns, cafes and shops are increasing. About 45 minutes on foot from our inn.

Suzume Jigoku / Clear Stream Forest
