As well as the eight rooms of “YUGOKORO NO MA [GINRYU]” with the open air bath featuring “hot spring”, the seven rooms of “KIGOKORO NO MA [TSUKISHIRO]” featuring “season” where you can see the heavenly body full of stars when the weather is fine, we newly opened the Annex [AQUA] featuring “water” which is our pride.
We show you our considerateness, providing restful moments by the vast Japanese-style garden, the open air bath where you can feel the sense of the season, and even our original creative cuisine, etc. We are sincerely looking forward to your visit.
Meltwater from mountain ranges of Nikko permeates into the underground while being filtered and flows while making water veins over the years. In our property, there are water veins which contains rich minerals grown by mountain ranges of Nikko such as Nikko’s renowned peak Nantaisan.
Likewise, Futarasan Shrine which is one of World Heritage sites near our hotel mythologizes the spring water bestowed as a blessing of mountain ranges of Nikko as “REISEN” and it is honored by local brewers and others.
We also widely use natural mineral water which is pumped up from about 70m underground for all the tap water in our hotel. Since this water is flavorful and tastes good, it is good for food preparation such as washing rice and diluting drinks such as whisky and water.
Besides, we utilize plumbing system which circulates the water for air conditioning in summer. Since the temperature of the underground water remains around 7°C even in summer, we use it for making eco-friendly AC system. This system saves electricity consumption in summer that is generally supposed to be substantially higher.
In addition, we circulates this water in our pond and rear chars which are known for living only in clean stream. We can see forest green tree frogs, a natural monument, around the pond in summer.
Thus, this water is enjoyed by our staying guests in various scenes. After the dragon which had been worshiped as “the God of water” since olden times, we named this water “GINRYU-SUI” and use its blessing gratefully.
Annex [AQUA]
The Annex [AQUA] newly opened in October 2016 features “water” which is our pride. The Annex [AQUA] having tranquility and a sense of luxury provides a higher class atmosphere, with the private garden based on a water basin and the dedicated open-air bath. You can spend your private time as you feel the sereneness of nature and negative ions with your whole body.
There are the Japanese-style room, living room and bed room indoors and a balcony with deck chairs extending outdoors, furnished with the dedicated open-air bath having a perfect sense of openness. Sparkle of the water basin laid on the private garden promises you utmost relaxation and special time.
The spacious premium suite of the exclusive area of more than 140m2 when including the water basin having a sense of luxury and the balcony with the open-air bath — a higher class atmosphere. The room furnished with the twin bed and the open-air bath which is available 24 hours a day.
Shiraneaoi (special room)
10 tatami mat room + Bedroom + Spacious veranda + Guest room + Semi-open-air bath + Terrace. It is a special room with the semi-open-air bath.
There are the homma-size room, and the sofa set in the spacious veranda, so you can relax in the spacious area. You can hear the flow of the stream from the wooden semi-open-air bath which makes you feel the tenderness of wood.
Japanese-type room TSUKISHIRO
It is the Japanese-style room with a dining space. From the deck terrace, you can view the abundant nature of Nikko and the Japanese garden below.

You can view the Japanese garden from the window. The oriental twin room has a modular bath, where there is a bathtub and a Western toilet in the bath unit (the Washlet type, but without the seat warming function). The twin room is recommended to those who are economical.

Nikko’s local party cuisine prepared ingeniously with seasonal ingredients. Hot dish while piping-hot , Cold dish as it is cold. Please enjoy delicacies of the season and Nikko’s local cuisine.

Restaurant
Dining restaurant [KURA] offers only table seats with chairs. We have enjoyed good reputation even from elderly and female guests saying they can have a good time with our cuisine in a very comfortable position.
Bath

Our proud open-air bath surround by the abundant nature of Nikko which shows us its different attractions season by season. We have the rest lounge after bath where you can take a rest over Nikko’s natural water and barley tea made by this water.
Public Bath
Please do away with the fatigue of your journey in the high-class spacious public bath. The view of the abundant nature of Nikko seen from the bath is also superior.
Open-air bath
When you soak in the spilling hot water of Nikko hot spring, with your arms and legs stretched to the full, you will somehow refresh your mind and body by the atmosphere unique to the hot spring of travelling and feel the moment of bliss in the very artistic atmosphere.
Private open-air bath
I want to take a bath calmly and leisurely, anyway. We recommend to such people two rooms [MIZUHIKARI] (water light) and [MIZUOTO] (water sound). These rooms can be enjoyed by a couple or a family, which have a private open-air bath where you will feel a sense of transparency and openness.
