THE HISTORY

Destination for lots of travelers, Capri is also Hotel Flora’s home, a piece of history of this wonderful location. The Hotel’s activity starts in the 1960s and step by step it managed to emerge itself in the luxury hotel scene.

Sina Flora’s history begins when, from a modest and welcoming family home, it was transformed by the Vuotto family into the Hotel “Villa Flora”. Later the structure was inherited by the Virginias, who were the first to open a Michelin starred restaurant on the island with the famous Chef Colonna.

The Flora then was sold to the Morganos who decided to turn it into a private residence because of the nearness to another luxury hotel, the Quisisana.

Later, the former Semiramis pension, which after some changes of ownership had become a small residence, was acquired. Several renovations followed, so that the owners decided to create a connecting under passage to the Hotel Flora to join the two buildings and, after a short time, even the development of a sea-view pool arrived.

Thus, it was established to retain the name Hotel Flora. In 2018 Sina Hotels has become the owner of this magnificent property that, with its atmosphere of ancient and refined charm, makes the stay of its guests an unforgettable experience.

ROOMS & SUITES
Wide and bright, elegantly furnished in a Mediterranean style and decorated with hand-painted majolica tiles in the nuances of the surrounding landscape. The yellow of the Mediterranean sun, the blue of the sea and the sky, the green of the vegetation and the pink of the fruits in a refined contrast with the white of the ceilings.

A relaxing break for a light lunch in the garden by the pool where to taste Campania’s specialties such as a fresh mozzarella and tomato salad or a delicious pizza cooked in the original wood oven. After 6.30 p.m. room service is available for guests.

THE SOLARIUM
The true jewel of Sina Flora is the swimming pool with solarium where to admire the breathtaking view surrounded by nature. The same area can be used for breakfast by the pool and for aperitifs to be enjoyed at sunset.
