Love Your Heart
“Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit”. Khalil Gibran

Love is a force of nature. However much we may want to, we cannot command, demand, or take away love. But you can invite love in.

By listening to your intuition and wisdom that lies within your heart, you can train and heighten your compassion, awareness and consciousness and feel a much more powerful connection with mother nature and our earth.

This is a day of reflection, letting go of old baggage, setting a new purpose and learning how to connect with your heart and true purpose to find greater zest for life and meaning.

Thai Healing Therapy
This is a therapeutic massage that applies the intelligence of locality which has been discovered from more than 700 years ago. It is the ultimate customized treatment for your body, focusing on the problem areas such as neck, shoulder, back, and legs.

This treatment requires a high level of massage technique; therefore, the therapist has to be well-trained and highly-skilled in order to release all the tension.

Zen Na Tai
An ancient therapeutic massage treatment working through the abdominal area, the center of energy flow in the body, and the chest area to improve digestion and breathing. It includes head and scalp massage to release cranial tension and improve concentration. It also helps to release toxins.

Energy Enhancing Treatment
Awaken your chakras with precious healing oils that activate the body’s subtle energy flow.

Enhanced with the restorative sound vibration from Tibetan singing bowls that resonates with the body fluid, the body’s energy is cleansed and rejuvenated. This treatment helps to slow down your mind and evoke a pre-meditative experience.

Secret La Stone Four Hands
Melt away any tension with this hot stone massage using smooth, heated basalt stones.

The warm stones are placed on tension-prone areas that will be soothed with the right amount of pressure to encourage muscles to warm up and relax. This is the ideal remedy for chronic muscle tension and concludes with Reiki.

Sustainability at Samui
Six Senses Samui has always been at the forefront of sustainability, carefully considering the effects that operating systems, materials and purchasing policies have on the environment.

Our initiatives and procedures achieved a Green Globe 21 benchmark in December 20, 2006 for water saving, waste recycling, community commitment, community contributions, paper products and non-harmful pesticide products.

Sustainability EcoCard
Six Senses Samui is continually developing new initiatives and procedures to minimize our impact on the environment.

Six Senses Samui is located on a headland on the northern tip of Samui Island. It is set on 20 acres of indigenous plantings and offers stunning views of the surrounding sea and outlying islands.

Six Senses is an acknowledged industry leader in sustainability practices through careful consideration of the effects that operating systems, materials and purchasing policies have on the environment.

We are therefore continually developing new initiatives and procedures to minimize our impact on the environment.

Our Farm on the Hill
We like to be a little bit different – a little bit quirky. And when this can be combined with sustainability, we’ve created a win-win proposition.

Farm on the Hill is the latest sustainable initiative in our quest to minimize the resort’s environmental footprint by converting waste into wealth (valuable by-products), sharing our efforts with the local community and government as an example of what can be done with a little thought and funds.

Heat recovery system cuts energy usage
Precision air conditioning is a system that precisely controls the temperature and humidity levels within our rooms. They absorb hot air and release cool air in return.

The absorbed heat is stored and later used to heat the water in the room. With a PAC system in place, the water is already at a higher initial temperature and therefore requires less heating, thus reduces energy consumption.

Social Responsibility
In recent years Six Senses Samui has initiated many projects to minimize our impact on the environment and our local community.

Examples of projects to minimize our environmental impact include creating our own biodiesel, filtering and recycling our wastewater, plus working together with UNICEF and Restaurants Against Hunger.

Currently we are looking at initiating many more projects in the Heart of the House area focusing on supporting the environment.

Community engagement
Rak Churnmung Group/ beach cleaning/ tree planting/ school cleaning/plastic banning policy for our suppliers.

Community engagement is the heart of Six Senses Samui. As active members of the community, we continuously support, educate and join in several environmental activities.

This includes beach cleaning with Trash Hero’s, local school projects (Fix’s & Improvements), community markets, tree planting and much more. In addition, we provide funding and hands to supply hospitals and schools with much needed equipment.

As plastic has become a worldwide issue, Six Senses Samui launched a plastic banning campaign with hosts which started with all team members saying no to plastic. Instead of carrying plastic items on property, hosts were given stainless steel water bottles and cotton bags as alternatives.

On the supplier side, we have drafted a plastic banning policy asking for their cooperation to avoid single-use plastic and switch to better alternatives such as cloth bags or reusable containers instead.
