Follow the victory of your own relaxation on a golf course in a wonderful setting in the vicinity of Cluj-Napoca. The SunGarden Golf Course has an interactive route of 9 hole layout, of 33 total par and 2211 m (2418 yards).

Spread around the Deer Meadow, in the famous Baciu Forrest,this sporty short course truly embraces the beauty of the land. Each route is different in style and setting and offers a challenge, but also an escape. From easy courses, for those practicing as a hobby, the design reaches more complex challenges for the most experienced golfers.

Our goal is to make Cluj and SunGarden Golf & SPA Resort a new golf destination for golfers worldwide. And the competitions we organize here are an opportunity to meet the best players, to challenge each other, to test and to win as many prizes as possible.

The holes are diverse in style and setting. The opening hole plays from a high point down into an open bowl. The par 4 2nd teeters along the edge of a deep dale before carving its way to the green. Hole 3 is framed within the romance and intrigue of the Baciu forest. The player’s attention is grabbed at the par 3 4th playing to a peninsula surrounded by water.

The par 5 5th rests within a quiet meadow in the shadows of the old world chapel. The short 6th requires a gutty tee shot to a green hanging on the edge of deep watery ravine. Holes 7 and 8 traverse a hillside clearing in the forest.

And finally the 9th brings players over a deep valley snaking through the rolls of an open field to a high plateau green. With all of its intrigue and strategy the course offers an avenue of fun for players of all levels while enjoying the true beauty of the Cluj countryside

SunGarden Golf Academy is designed to attract, serve and train new golf talent. It promotes golf as a friendly and accessible sport that trains your precision skills and strategy capabilities.

SunGarden Golf Academy’s objectives are to establish strategic partnerships with institutions and organizations in the field of education and sport, to create a new pool of golf players in Transylvania, Romania and to recruit young talented golf players.

The golf curricula comprises a complete training cycle for golf players: from getting to know and to handle the golf equipment, the correct hold and grip of the golf club, the short and long distance strokes, the rules of the game and the golf etiquette, learning the complete 9 or 18 hole game, and up until the participation in golf competitions.

Units available for the program are: the 9 hole golf course and the indoor golf simulator. In order to promote the beauty of this sport among the public around the region, the packages proposed through the SunGarden Golf Academy are customized and target all age groups: both juniors and seniors. The equipment is made available by the Club, and partner institutions benefit from special packages.
