Step into a majestic abode offering 3,900 square feet of splendid opulence at the Belle Époque Suite. Featuring gilded accents, authentic antique pieces, damask silks, and French Regency-style furniture, the suite’s extravagant living room evokes a sense of timeless French antiquity and grandeur.

LODHI SIGNATURE SUITE
These newly enhanced suites comprise a personal plunge pool, living and dining area with an adjoining kitchenette over an impressively ample space of 2700 square feet.

Chef Manish Mehrotra has designed the inventive Indian menu of Indian Accent. The restaurant opened in 2009 in New Delhi to significant acclaim for its path breaking approach to contemporary Indian food.

Lutyen’s Delhi is named after the British architect Edwin Lutyens who was responsible for much of the architectural design and building when India was part of the British Empire in the 1920s and 30s.

Journey through iconic monuments like Red Fort and Jama Masjid, and narrow twisting streets in the markets of Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli and more, giving you an insight into the legendary golden age when life was at a slower pace and there was time to enjoy refinement and leisure.

INDIA GATE
India Gate, originally called the All India War Memorial, was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and built in 1931. It is a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who sacrificed their lives in the First World War and the Third Anglo -Afghan War, and 13,300 servicemen’s names are inscribed on the gate.

QUTUB MINAR
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar, at 73 meters, is the tallest brick minaret in the world and second highest minaret in India. The tower is covered with verses from the Quran and has five distinct storeys.

Its construction was commenced in 1200 AD by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, and his successor Iltutmish added three storeys in 1220. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone, and the fourth and fifth are of marble and sandstone. The tapering tower has 379 stairs inside leading to the top.

RED FORT
Residence of the Mughal Emperor for 200 years, the Red Fort epitomizes the magnificent power of the Mughal Empire. It was built in 1648 by Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad, and is named after its massive walls of red sandstone. An evening sound and light show re-creates the events of the glorious Indian history connected with the fort.

HUMAYUN’S TOMB
The first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India, this monument was commissioned by Emperor Humayun’s senior widow Haji Begum, after his death in 1556. It is said that the Begum spent one and a half million rupees on the tomb which was completed in 9 years.

JAMA MASJID
Towering over Old Delhi’s busy skyline, Jama Masjid is India’s largest mosque with a courtyard where 25,000 devotees can offer prayer. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1644 AD, the ‘Masjid-I-Jahanuma’ (meaning mosque commanding view of the world) was his final architectural opus.

KHAN MARKET
One of Delhi’s most popular high-end marketplaces, Khan Market has various book shops, designer boutiques, opticians, grocers and home furnishing stores. You can also find many cafes, restaurants, bakeries here, many with balconies overlooking the streets.

CONNAUGHT PLACE
The heart of colonial India, Connaught Place is a historical structure, a shopper’s haven, a foodie’s delight and a culture buff’s destination. The mammoth circular structure was built by the British in 1929. You can shop at most of the up-market branded stores here, strike a bargain at Shankar Market or Janpath, or pick up handicrafts from Khadi Gram Bhavan.
