The Sarojin – Khao Lak Resort, is located in Khaolak, Phang Nga province, Thailand and just 1 hour drive north of Phuket International Airport, beautifully ensconced in a lush tropical garden setting with direct private access onto a secluded 11 km white beach by the Andaman Sea. By virtue of being sheltered by Pakarang Cape, a coral cape headland, The Sarojin beach provides year-round swimming and water sports.

The Sarojin – Khao Lak Resort, is surrounded inland by five spectacular primary forest national parks including the adventurous Khaolak and Khaosok National Parks. The world famous dive sanctuaries of the Similan Islands and Surin Islands, (one of the top ten world dive sites), is less than an hour away by boat (direct from The Sarojin beach).

Phang Nga Bay renowned for its dramatic limestone islands and captivating sea cave canoe journeys is 45 minutes away. Three 18 hole golf courses all are easily accessible within 20 minutes – one hour.

The Lady Sarojin, eldest daughter of a prominent Thai nobleman, became mistress of the house upon her mother’s accession. As such, she was responsible for not only the upkeep and smooth running of the residence and grounds, but also for the comfort of her father’s guests.

So wholeheartedly did she pursue this vocation, that travellers from far and wide sought invitations, as this household had become famous for its hospitality, comfort and appeal under her aegis. Today, Lady Sarojin’s spirit guides us every step of the way and, we hope as she did, that our guests are truly enriched by their sojourn with us.

PATHWAYS SPA
Pathways is a secluded spa haven, luxuriously integrated with nature, floating over the main estuary and energy line of the resort, with views through a coconut grove and beyond to the Andaman Sea. Rustic yet comfortable, and privately entered by a meandering boardwalk, guests are gently lulled by the sounds of the Andaman Sea and bird song.

Featuring four double bed open air treatment pavilions with rain showers and two with additional couples’ baths, one air conditioned facial treatment room, and an open air post spa relaxation lounge area, Pathways is a discovered place and forms a key part of The Sarojin’s wellness experience.

WELLNESS, YOGA & MEDITATION
Our treatments are designed to revitalise and relax our guests during their stay and are available alongside a whole host of other wellness activities at The Sarojin including yoga and meditation.

For centuries, Thai people have used the natural healing properties of local herbs, trees, flowers and fruits to purify and rejuvenate their bodies and minds. Purification of the spirit is believed to be achieved by combining these rich earthy ingredients into remedies that enhance your feeling of wellness.

All our essential oils are made in Thailand, from 100% natural ingredients. We use sunflower oil as a base, which is renowned for its natural healing properties, combined with additional oils that offer specific holistic benefits.

For example, we use Kob Koon oil (a blend of sunflower, plai, ylang ylang and lavender) to reduce anxiety and nerves, Jai Dee oil (a combination of sunflower, lemongrass, lavender and cedarwood) to reduce stress and Jai Yen oil (a blend of sunflower, mint and eucalyptus) to give a feeling of refreshment during our treatments.

The Sarojin’s magnificent soul-soothing aquamarine infinity pool is set amidst spacious and lush tropical gardens, blending harmoniously with nature. Every detail in the swimming pool’s design and service has been carefully made to reflect and create an oasis of pure relaxation. Perfect 25m x 25m square infinity pool, sunken jacuzzi lounge area, three resplendent floating pavilions.

WEDDINGS IN THAILAND
At The Sarojin, we understand the importance of making each day of your holiday memorable and special, and there is no more special day than your wedding day.

We offer Thai and Western style weddings in the setting of your choice, be it under the shade of sea almond trees on the secluded 11km white sand beach, under the grand ancient and spiritual Ficus tree in The Sarojin gardens or by a candlelit jungle waterfall, or simply as your imagination desires. We’ll take care of every aspect of your wedding day, from the flowers and catering, to your wedding cake and photographer.

Venue ceremonies can accommodate from 2-100 persons for the wedding ceremony. Alternatively you can exclusively hire the whole of The Sarojin, all 56 guest residences and all resort facilities for your own private wedding party use for up to 130 guests per night.

PRIVATE CHARTER
The Lady Sarojin luxury boat is exclusively available for guests and also available for private charter, click here for more private charter information. Cruise, snorkel and SCUBA dive in the Similan Islands, Surin Islands or Phang Nga Bay.

These are the recommended destinations but we are able to tailor make an itinerary to suit divers or snorkelers or for a simple day out on the seas. The Similans are renowned for their underwater beauty, marine life and coral, soft white sand beaches and lush interiors.

With reefs beginning only yards from the white sand beaches and a visibility of up to 30 metres, the islands offer superb snorkelling as well as a unique diving experience.

Between November and early May, the Lady Sarojin boat is moored off the beach at The Sarojin and serves the Similan and Surin Islands, whilst from early May to October she is moored at Yacht Haven Marina in Phuket for day trips to Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Island.

WALK, CLIMB, SWIM
The Sarojin is ideally located to offer our more thrill seeking guests more challenging adventures into the wilds. We work closely with the national park guides to offer a range of more “extreme” adventures.

These can be tailor-made as desired but are not for the faint hearted! Extreme Jungle Trek – climb and swim and learn survival techniques through the wilds of southern Thailand on a trip you’ll never forget.

Extreme Rock Climbing, Phang Nga Bay – climb the dramatic limestone islands and sheer rock formations of ancient Phang Nga Bay. Extreme Mountain Biking, Khao Sok National Park – an adrenaline enthusiast’s dream, explore by bike and, follow trails through the wild jungle environment.

SNORKEL & SCUBA DIVING
The Similan and Surin Islands’ Marine National Parks, are just 1 hour away off The Sarojin beach, and are renowned for their underwater beauty, marine life and coral, soft white sand beaches and lush interiors. With reefs beginning only yards from the white sand beaches and up to 30 metres visibility, they offer superb snorkelling and diving experiences.

The Lady Sarojin boat, operates scheduled snorkeling trips to the islands exclusively for The Sarojin guests and can be booked for private charter. For SCUBA, The Sarojin has partnered with local international dive operators and can facilitate a range of SCUBA trips. To help protect these marine parks they are open from November to early May annually.

CRUISING & SEA CANOEING
Phang Nga Bay is renowned for its many dramatic limestone islands. These distinctive sheer rock formations jut vertically out of the emerald green water.

At lower tides cave tunnels are exposed amongst these huge rocks allowing entrance by sea canoes through these areas of untouched nature and into the hidden lagoons within. Cruises into Phang Nga Bay are available by the Lady Sarojin boat May to October or traditional Thai longtail boat all year round.

GLIMPSES OF LOCAL LIFE
A range of adventures offering a rare opportunity for a more authentic insight into the local Thai way of life and culture into the surrounding rural and fishing communities. KIRINARA GOLF COURSE
Kirinara is a 9-hole golf course set in the picturesque mountains to the north east of Khao Lak. The name of the course reflects its location: “Kiri” means ‘mountain’ in Thai, while “Nara” is in reference to prosperity or water. The course has been skillfully designed, embracing the surrounding nature. This makes it a challenging and peaceful place to play a round or two.

TAP LA MU ROYAL THAI NAVY GOLF COURSE
Tap La Mu is an 18-hole, 72-par golf course, 7,160 yards, situated on Song Ngam Beach, with 5 holes lying along the shoreline. This more municipal course is set in a beautiful tropical setting next to the ocean and with a backdrop of primary rainforest hills.
